As expected, the people who had caused ruckus didn't really expect Ruan Nanzhu would do this!
Not to mention their shock, when Yu Liang mentioned Ruan's partner's name as Lin Qiushi!!
And what snatched their souls away, making their blood run cold was the fact the Lin Qiushi was the most beloved eldest son of The Lin Family.
Yu Liang, Chen Fei and Shunxi had already placed guards disguised as guests around the people who were the main culprits, just in case, they realise the main motive of this party and try to run away.
Turns out, they weren't wrong. And within next 5 minutes, everybody was caught and brought at the centre. Police sirens could be heard and a team of 10 officers ran inside taking the people in their hands.
"Wait a minute!" A voice as deep as the abyss sounded on the speakers and all turned around towards the source.
Ruan Nanzhu was just about to let go of Qiushi's hand, but felt his hand was held back. He turned and looked at Qiushi who was looking at him with an indifferent gaze.
"Trust me, all will be fine from now on, okay? Wait for me." Ruan Nanzhu whispered only for Qiushi to hear and then kissed his hands before letting them go.
A very familiar warmth passed through Qiushi's body and he did what Nanzhu asked, wait for him.
Ruan Nanzhu was an alpha man. Definitely the top. But Qiushi wasn't your normal bottom. He was sassy, savage and what no one realised was that even if Nanzhu was the top, Qiushi was the one who had more control. It was because, Nanzhu never learnt to say 'NO' to him and Qiushi never did anything that wasn't sensible. Nanzhu knew better than to say 'no'.
Ruan Nanzhu was followed by Yu Liang and Shunxi who had all the evidences in their hands.
"Here you go, we have everything that these... that they have done including using the company's resources for their own selfish purposes. Also the evidence of their black deeds which they managed to cover by accusing my husband of those false rumors." Nanzhu said and he could feel the burning gaze on his back.
"Also, I will make sure you are down to your last penny. Don't give me that innocent look. My husband is the one who is innocent and because he didn't want to be the centre of attention, he stayed away from his family which wasn't easy for him. Also our sep- Well, just know that I am not letting any one of you go! Take them away!!" Ruan Nanzhu said and walked back to Qiushi who had his head down.
Yu Liang and Shunxi handed the stuff to the police before they left. Both stopped and smiled each other, knowing now they could be rest assured. They were finally now ready to announce their relationship to their families, not to the world yet.
Nanzhu went to his husband's side and pulled him into a hug. Qiushi didn't object either. This, this was the Ruan Nanzhu he loved. His husband, his lover, his best friend.
To say that Qiushi wasn't surprised and touched by all these would be an understatement. Because he was. He was happy.
The dinner ended soon and everyone left. For now it was just all family left at the venue.
Yu Liang took the mic in his hand and cleared his throat. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at him. Once he got all attention, he walked down and held hands with Shunxi.
As a matter of fact, everyone present there knew about them. But these fools.. anyways, let them confess and let's all pretend!
"Mom, Dad, Uncle and Aunty. Me and Shunxi, you can say it's also our 10th year of being in relationship. It's only because of Xiao Ruan and Lin Lin and what happened back then, we also separated, but now that all is good and back to normal, I don't think I can wait any longer. I want to marry him. If you have any issues, keep them to yourself as I don't give a damn about it." Yu Liang said and then looking at Shunxi, he smiled and knelt on one knee.
So far everyone was holding back the laugh. But what caught everyone offguard was that Yu Liang was all prepared.
"Shunxi, my little flower, first of all, I am sorry for making you wait for so long. But as we both know, our families were, all and will always be our first priority. Especially our dumb brothers who took so long to get back, but we love them, don't we. So let's forgive them this once. I love you and I want to spend my remaining life with you. Will you marry me? If you say no, you're dead!" Yu Liang held a ring in front of Shunxi who was all red by now.
Everybody burst out laughing. Lin Qiushi went ahead and put an arm around Shunxi and said,
"Come on, what are you waiting for? Everybody here knew about you guys. We just didn't want to force you for anything, so we all kept quiet. This all isn't a surprise for us, but him pulling this stunt, surely is, isn't it, Nanzhu?" Qiushi asked Nanzhu who nodded with a smile.
Shunnxi finally nodded and said,
"Yu Liang, you fool, get up already. It's so embarassing seeing you kneel. I will marry you. Hurry, put the ring on my finger already." And Yu Liang listened to his little lover.
Both hugged and everybody cheered for them. And hence all had a good time, all ate ice creams and deserts later for midnight snacks.
Everybody went back home. While Qiushi and Nanzhu drove back to Shanghai to their own home.
Nanzhu interlocked their fingers and kissed his hands. Qiushi noticed it and then rested his head on Nanzhu's shoulder.
"I have a surprise for you when we go home." Qiushi said and Nanzhu just smiled.
I have a surprise for you too, baby. But seems like my surprise will only make you cry.
Nanzhu thought to himself and smile. They still hadn't had their first night after wedding. And today being the 10th anniversary, it was absolutely right to have it. But he was more eager to know what surprise his baby had planned for him!
