Chapter 29 - Chapter 29 Three-Sword Style Raiga

With the addition of the two Konoha's teams, the situation quickly reversed.

The Rogue Ninjas and samurai were powerful against Yugakure, but they were no match for Konoha's Ninjas.

Even Obito, who often messed up, had now mastered the Great Fireball Technique.

For Rogue Ninjas who rarely had access to high-level Ninjutsu, the Great Fireball Technique was considered a very powerful Jutsu.

As for Guy and Kakashi, they had even started a competition to see who could kill enemies faster.

They were filled with pent-up anger and took it out on these Rogue Ninjas and samurai.

The team also had two Medical-Nins, Rin and Shizune, ensuring the team's sustainability.

"Not bad at all." Hizashi nodded approvingly, not charging too far ahead himself as he needed to protect Rin and Shizune.

"Useless! All of them useless!" Watching the Rogue Ninjas and samurai he hired being pushed back, Caz, hiding in the shadows, was furious. "It's these Konoha's Ninjas ruining my plans again!"

Suppressing his anger, he looked ingratiatingly at the man with long green hair and two swords on his back nearby. "Raiga-sama, those useless fools are all unreliable. We can only rely on you."

After witnessing the brutality of these powerful Ninjas from the great Ninja Villages, his attitude had done a complete one-eighty.

Kurosuki Raiga narrowed his eyes, resembling a large kappa. "The enemies aren't simple. Those five kids are nothing, but that Hyuga Clan's Ninja... if I'm not mistaken, he should be Hyuga Hizashi, the younger brother of the Hyuga Clan's head."

"He's just a privileged clan member relying on his family's reputation. How can he compare to a powerful Ninja like you, Raiga-sama, who has made his name across the Ninja World on his own?" Caz lavished praise. "Faced with the might of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, even Konoha's Sannin pale in comparison."

"Too much, too much." Raiga smiled reservedly and waved his hand. "Konoha's Sannin do have substance. They might be slightly better than me."

Caz exclaimed admiringly, "Raiga-sama, you are too humble. So, about taking action...?"

"Taking action is no problem, but the price won't be the one we agreed on before." Raiga rubbed his fingers together.

"Naturally." Caz smiled and presented a long sword.

Raiga's expression turned slightly cold, "One sword?"

"This isn't an ordinary sword. It's the Sword of the Thunder God, once used by the Second Hokage." Caz gently swung it, and a blue light blade suddenly shot from the edge, easily slicing through the wall.

"The Sword of the Thunder God?" Raiga stood up in surprise. "How do you have the Sword of the Thunder God?"

Caz smiled quite proudly. "It was an offering from one of our Jashin Cult's followers. I suspect that when the Second Hokage was being pursued, he didn't want Kumogakure to get his weapon, so he discarded the Sword of the Thunder God in the Land of Frost before his death. It was later picked up by one of our believers."

Raiga didn't care about the story's truth, as he had only asked out of shock. However it came, as long as it was the real Sword of the Thunder God, it was fine.

"Haha! To think the Sword of the Thunder God would fall into my hands! This is truly fate's guidance!" Raiga excitedly swung the Sword of the Thunder God for a while, then took out the paired Lightning Blades: Kiba from his back. For a moment, he was in a dilemma.

'The Lightning Blades: Kiba were a paired set. Replacing one with the Sword of the Thunder God might not increase their power much.'

After thinking for a moment, Raiga had an idea, 'That's it! I'll switch to a three-sword style from now on. I'll hold the third sword in my mouth.'

Seeing Raiga lost in his fantasy, Caz reminded him, "Raiga-sama?"

Raiga snapped out of it and laughed heartily. "Don't worry, I'll help you take care of those Konoha's Ninjas."

After speaking, Raiga, quite true to his word, walked outside.

After taking down another Ninja, Obito couldn't help but put his hands on his hips for a moment, thinking quite smugly, "So I'm this strong after all."

Just then, Obito saw a man with three swords on his back walking towards him.

"Another samurai? Seeing the great Obito-sama and still not running away?" Obito quickly formed hand seals. "Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique!"

However, the man opposite simply drew his sword casually and swung it, easily splitting the fireball.

"How is this possible?" Obito couldn't believe his eyes. He was always a very emotional person, and fueled by confidence, this Great Fireball was nearly his best ever.

"Heh, to use the Great Fireball Technique at this level is quite decent." Raiga chuckled as he walked closer, lightning flickering on his blade. The jumping blue light made Obito's hands and feet turn cold.

"Obito, run!" Rin was the first to notice the situation with Obito and shouted a warning.

"I can't! I can't move!" Fear gripped Obito's heart, cold sweat pouring down, "What's wrong with me?"

"Haven't even experienced killing intent before? Could you be a freshly graduated fledgling?" Raiga laughed, then suddenly turned and slashed backward.

Kakashi, who had been attacking with a kunai, was sent flying. But in that instant, Guy, from Raiga's blind spot, delivered a flying kick that sent Raiga flying.

After crashing through a wall, Raiga was buried in the rubble.

"Haha, joint operation successful!" Guy grinned, giving a thumbs-up in Kakashi's direction.

"Be careful, the enemy is no ordinary foe." Kakashi wasn't blinded by joy.

Sure enough, dazzling lightning suddenly erupted from beneath the rubble. A figure charged out and rushed straight towards Guy.

Guy reacted quickly, dodging frantically, but the lightning on the enemy's blade suddenly intensified, directly piercing through his abdomen.

Kakashi attacked with lightning crackling in his hand, the piercing sound like a thousand birds chirping in unison.

"Lightning Release?" Raiga sneered, drawing another Lightning Blade: Kiba with his right hand and clashing with Kakashi's Chidori.

In an instant, Kakashi was slashed away, blood flying through the air.

"How can this be? Why did such a powerful enemy appear suddenly?" Obito couldn't understand. Kakashi and Guy were so strong, yet they were instantly defeated by the enemy.

"I have to save them!" Obito overcame the fear in his heart and was about to charge forward when a vacuum palm force suddenly struck the enemy, forcing him back several steps. Then, a figure took the opportunity to rescue Guy.

"Hizashi-senpai!" Obito was thrilled, finally feeling the reliability of a Jonin.

After rescuing Guy, Hizashi handed him over to Shizune and Rin. Then, with a grave expression, he looked at the enemy. "A renowned member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, and all you can do is bully children?"

Raiga laughed. "In a Ninja's eyes, age means nothing. Once identified as an enemy, even an infant is a valid target."

Hizashi asked gravely, "What is a famous Ninja like you doing here, slaughtering civilians? What is your true purpose?"

Raiga shrugged. "We are Ninjas. We just accept employment. The employer's goals are not our concern."

Seeing Hizashi about to ask more, Raiga cut him off. "You probably didn't accept a mission to protect Yugakure, right? I don't really want to fight a Jonin either. If you leave now, I promise not to cause you any trouble."

Hizashi was somewhat tempted, but then he heard Obito shout angrily, "Don't even think about it! We will never bow to a villain like you!"

Hizashi couldn't help but smile wryly.

Raiga, on the other hand, burst out laughing. "Good guys, bad guys? Your Konoha's understanding of Ninjas is truly naive. You don't actually think Ninjas are here to uphold justice, do you?"
