When the smoke settled, Nagato stood still amidst the destruction-the earth below him cracked from the force of repulsion he used.
Kizaru let out a low whistle, his tone light though his gaze was sharper now. "Haa… how scary~," he drawled, hands slipping back into his pockets. "All that, and not a scratch. You've got quite the trick there, mister god."
The eyes of Nagato began to glow faintly, ripples expanding within them. "Your light is fast, but it cannot escape these eyes." he said coldly.
"Shinra Tensei."
The air detonated outward-a thunderclap of invisible force. The ground cratered beneath them, a shockwave leveling half the plaza. Borsalino's form scattered into photons just before the blast struck, his light streaking into the sky.
From above, his voice drifted down, tinged with mock fear. "Ooh~ that would've hurt. You've got quite the temper dont you~?"
In a flash, he reappeared, hovering high above the ruins; one hand was raised, and light began to gather at his fingertips. "I won't give you the chance to attack again."
Nagato's eyes followed, level and unflinching. "You'll soon come to realize all efforts are subpar infront of a God."
Borsalino became a beam of light darting towards Nagato. — But with a mere casual raise of a hand, Nagato repels him "Shinra Tensei."
Following up, Nagato extended an arm. "Bansho Tenin."
Light faltered. Borsalino was yanked violently downward, his particles of light compressing together as gravity twisted the space around him. For the first time, his mocking grin changed slightly.
"Now," Nagato said in a very low tone, "perceive the weight of real pain.
Borsalino is tugged straight towards Nagato, who pulled out a rod of yang chakra and stuck it in Borsalino's chest, only to watch it pass straight through him.
For an instant, Nagato's composure cracked. His eyes widened as he stepped back, realization striking like a blade.
His voice was quiet but edged with surprise. "So… my rods can't pierce light."
Borsalino's grin returned, faint and mocking. "Ne~ that's right. Touching me isn't so easy." "Now then… shall we keep playing, god-san?"
