The atmosphere inside Marineford was cold and heavy, the kind of tension that only came when an unthinkable crime was committed.
At the center of the strategy hall, Fleet Admiral Sengoku stood with his arms crossed, while Vice Admiral Tsuru stood at his left side, her sharp gaze mirroring the gravity of the moment. The room was filled with Vice Admirals, scribes, and Den Den Mushi operators waiting for orders.
On the table before him lay a stack of freshly developed images — blurry but unmistakable. Purple ringed eyes, with a piercing stare.
This was the man who had killed a Celestial Dragon.
Sengoku exhaled heavily, almost bursting a blood vessel as he remembered Garp's earlier reaction of laughing loudly about the death of what he called "Bastards""Project the image. Now."
A large screen den-den mushi puffed up its cheeks and projected the visual: Nagato, standing calmly amidst a cratered plaza, eyes glowing.
There were murmurs. Gasps. One man audibly swallowed.
Then… footsteps.
A young Marine officer stepped forward — thin-framed, nervous, clutching a leather-bound notebook. He wore round glasses and a strange, spiraled mark across his forehead.
The room quieted as he approached Sengoku.
This was Lieutenant Ink— the man who ate the Mei-Mei no Mi, the Name-Name Fruit, granting him the ability to identify any person he saw, no matter their disguise or origin. A living, breathing global database.
He adjusted his glasses, staring at the image.
"…Proceed," Sengoku ordered.
Ink placed one hand over the projected face. His fingertips glowed faintly, the ink-like aura swirling around them before sinking into the image. His eyes rolled white for a moment as the ability activated.
A pause.
Then—"…Name: Nagato," Ink said, voice slightly strained from the overload of foreign information. "No birth record. No citizenship. Not listed among any known sea, kingdom, or island. His… origin is untraceable."
Sengoku's frown deepened."Untraceable?"
Ink swallowed. "Sir… his existence does not match any nation in this world."
A silence swept through the hall.
Sengoku turned sharply to the bounty division officers."Then he's a complete unknown. A threat whose power we do not understand." He slammed a hand on the table. "Draft the poster."
Pens rapidly scratched against paper.
"Danger level?" a frantic officer asked.
Sengoku didn't hesitate.
"Classify him as beyond standard threat levels. Treat him as an admiral class combatant. If weaker soldiers run into him, don't engage, only report his whereabouts"He paused, then declared:
"Nagato the 'Dragon Slayer'. Dead or Alive."
"How much, sir?"
Sengoku's next words hit the room like cannon fire:
"Start him at ,842,000,000 berries."
Ink nearly dropped his notebook.
"But sir—that's—!"
"Quiet." Sengoku's voice was steel. "He killed a Celestial Dragon and fought an Admiral to a stalemate. We also suspect him to either have multiple devil fruits or come from a special forgotten race. We cannot underestimate this man."
Behind his stern expression, his thoughts churned. He could still hear the furious voices from Mary Geoise — the Five Elders threatening to cut Marine resources and funding if this situation wasn't resolved immediately. Their message had been clear:
Handle it. Or the Marines would pay the price.
The weight of their ultimatum pressed against the back of Sengoku's skull like a vise, but his face remained immovable.
This could not become another Marine failure. Not under his watch.
He turned to one of the messengers."Spread his bounty across the world. Effective immediately."

By dawn the next morning, the entire world shook.
Seagulls scattered as fleets of news coo took to the skies, their bags overflowing with freshly printed papers. Gasps resounded from Island to Island as villages read the news
"CELESTIAL DRAGON EXECUTED — UNKNOWN MONSTER OVERPOWERS ADMIRAL KIZARU!"
In taverns, villages, slums, and pirate dens, jaws dropped and voices erupted.
People read of a man who appeared from nowhere, who could control not only gravity, but lasers, and create clones… and who faced Admiral Kizaru head-on — then vanished without leaving a single trace.
Some whispered in fear. Some trembled in excitement. Some laughed, thinking it must be exaggerated.
But all agreed on one thing:A new rising force had appeared on the sea
From the calm waves of East Blue to the monster-filled storms of the New World, one name spread faster than fire:
Nagato, The Dragon Slayer.
On a large ship somewhere in the new world--
The paper fluttered in Marco's hand as he approached the great captain, but Whitebeard was already laughing—deep, booming, and thunderous.
"Gurararara… killing a Celestial Dragon and walking away from an Admiral?"He took a long drink of sake."That's one hell of a reckless brat. The world's shaking again."
He grinned, eyes gleaming with the thrill of a new era stirring.
On Onigashima--
Kaido crushed the newspaper in a single fist, teeth grinding with excitement.
"A gravity power strong enough to flatten an island plaza… and he took on Kizaru?"His grin stretched wider, feral."Worororororororo!"
"GOOD! Another monster finally shows himself!"
He rose from his seat, aura flaring.
"King keep me updated on this brat's movements. Im curious to see if this so called dragon slayer can slay a real dragon Wororororororo!"
"Yes Lord Kaido" Said King, who was standing to his side.
On a deserted Island somewhere in the new world there were pirates sprawling about--
Shanks read the headline in silence, the sea breeze tugging at his coat.A faint, thoughtful smile curved across his lips.
"So someone strong enough to challenge an Admiral has appeared… and from nowhere at that."
He passed the paper to Benn Beckman.
"This one isn't just another troublemaker," Benn muttered after a glance."No," Shanks agreed softly. "He could change the balance of the world."
His eyes hardened—just slightly.
"And we may need to meet him before the others do."
On Whole Cake Island--
Big Mom's laughter echoed through the palace halls as she skimmed the article, cake crumbs falling from her fingers.
"MAMAMAMA! A man who slays dragons and defies the World Government? How Interesting!"She licked her lips."Such power… I wonder if those eyes of his are from a devil fruit or an unknown tribe."
The homies around her trembled.
"Bring me everything on this Nagato," she commanded, eyes glinting with hunger.
"Yes Mama!" Said her nearby children and homies.
The world's strongest forces had all noticed Nagato
And somewhere above the clouds, speeding away atop a summoned bird, Nagato remained blissfully indifferent to the chaos he'd unleashed.
"I'll need to find somewhere confined until I fully get used to this new power" Said Nagato, feeling a new ocular jutsu brewing within his rinnegan.
"Limbo border jail.. How interesting."
