Nagato and Enel land on a island completely covered by dense forests.
Both of them sense what feels like a heartbeat, and trek through the forest, eventually reaching a clearing. At the center lay a devil fruit—dark violet, swirling with pale patterns, pulsing faintly like a heartbeat.
Nagato felt it immediately.A deep pull. A calling.Something inside him resonated with it.
Enel tilted his head."It's similar to the fruit I ate, the one that gave me the powers of a God."
"It's a devil fruit"
Nagato said, while reaching out.The fruit was pulled into his palm.
Instinctively activating his preta path, he begins absorbing the fruit.
The fruit trembled, cracked, then burst apart, dissolving into raw energy that surged into him.
A shockwave rippled outward. Water formed from thin air—gathering at his feet, spiraling upward in a sudden violent whirlpool.
Enel stepped back, eyes narrowing."Oi… Gravity God, what did you just do?"
The water twisted tighter—shaping into a humanoid form, features sharpening as the vortex collapsed.
And then—
With a heavy, wet thud—
Kisame Hoshigaki stood on the soaked ground, water dripping from his cloak. Samehada hung at his back, wiggling in confusion.
His eyes scanned the jungle, confused and instinctively hostile.
"…This isn't the hideout. And you—"
His eyes locked onto Nagato's Rinnegan.The hostility snapped into razor-focused caution.
Kisame's hand tightened around Samehada's hilt—but he didn't draw it.
"The Rinnegan… Pain?"He frowned. "No. You're not one of the six. Who the hell are you?"
Nagato stepped forward, calm and towering in presence.
Nagato calmly stepped forward. "You've never seen my true body before. Pain was only a puppet, it was my will channeled through the Paths."
Kisame's expression shifted—shock flickering under the sharklike grin he forced back into place.
"Heh… so you're the real one pulling the strings. Guess that explains the chakra I'm sensing."
Enel crossed his arms, confused."So this is one of your guys? Looks like a man-eating fish."
Kisame ignored him and asked"How did I get here? Is this some space time jutsu?"
Nagato answered plainly.
"I absorbed a devil fruit in this world. And in doing so, I gained the ability to summon one Akatsuki member."
Kisame blinked once, slowly.Then Samehada vibrated in interest.
"Summoned, huh? Like i'm some summoning beast. And you chose me first…"A toothy grin grew. "Can't say I mind. So this is a new world huh?"
Nagato didn't bother mentioning that he himself had no idea why absorbing a devil fruit allowed him to summon Kisame, nor the fact that he couldn't choose who he summoned, it just happened randomly.
"We're rebuilding the Akatsuki, this world is vastly different from ours, and is in much more dire need of reshaping than our original one."
Enel snorted."Great. Now there's two of you."
Kisame rolled his shoulder, stretching as if waking from a long sleep.
"Looks like we'll have lots of new interesting prey Samehada."
Samehada wiggled excitedly on his back.
Nagato looked at him, meanwhile in his mind he was reviewing what just happened.
Absorbing a devil fruit allowed him to summon a random Akatsuki member to this world.
And Kisame…was only the first.
A few hours later—
Nagato stood at the front of the summoned bird, its wings beating smoothly as they soared above the open sea. Enel and kisame were both seated near the back of the bird.
Below, the endless blue stretched out in every direction.
"We're looking for pirates… or merchants," Nagato said calmly, the wind pulling at his cloak. "Anything that may carry devil fruits."
Kisame grinned wide."So basically we're hunting. My favorite pastime."
Enel smirked."If devil fruits are the key to summoning more 'gods,' then yes… we'll find plenty to feed your little army."
Nagato's Rinnegan narrowed slightly as he scanned the horizon.Minutes later, he turned slightly.
"There. A merchant vessel. Large. Well-guarded."
They descended silently.
Below, sailors rushed about the deck—completely unaware of the three figures now hovering above them like omens. Nagato barely needed to speak. A single gesture of his hand, and the ship's sails buckled under a controlled gravitational pull, forcing the vessel to halt.
Kisame laughed."The leader truly is incredible"
While Nagato examined the cargo, Enel swept the area with Mantra, sensing every heartbeat on board, and noticed the single trembling presence hidden below deck—a Marine spy disguised as a shiphand. In his mind he muttered bitterly "This was supposed to be a simple mission investigating a possible connection to doflamingo, so why did I run into these monsters?!"
Hands shaking, he whispered urgently into a Den-Den Mushi:
"H–Headquarters… this is Commodore Garrick. Emergency report! Targets Nagato, Enel, and an unknown third individual spotted above Sector Seven waters. They're searching the merchant ship, requesting backu-
His message cut short as Enel appeared infront of him, smirking cockily."What's this? A little rat hiding in the gutter? Yahahaha!
Enel casually formed a small thunder dragon, turning the man into ash.
By the time Nagato finished inspecting the crates—disappointed to find normal cargo—they prepared to leave.
"Nothing here," he said. "We continue."
Enel began forming a cloud beneath his feet. Kisame stepped back onto his water platform. The summoned bird's wings spread.
Nagato instantly noticed something.
A streak of golden light cut through the clouds, heading straight toward them at impossible speed.
Kisame's eyes narrowed."That's fast."
Enel's lips curled into a grin."Oh? They feel strong."
Nagato's gaze sharpened, recognizing the light as the so called Admiral he fought upon first arriving in this world. He then explained to Kisame and Enel.
"This is one of the three admirals of the marines. He has the ability to turn into light and move at extreme speeds, along with shooting beams of light as attacks. I fought him upon my arrival into this world. Leave him to me."
Kisame flashed his shark like grin
"I suppose me and samehada won't get to taste this prey then.. as you wish leader. This'll definitely be a spectacle worth witnessing since the leader himself is making a move.
Enel however seemed unpleased.
"Let me fight him."
After giving it a moment of thought Nagato agreed.
"If I feel you're going to lose, I'll step in."
"Ara Ara, casually discussing beating me up? How scary~"
Everyone turned, noticing Kizaru had already at some point appeared on the back of the summoning beast.
"Don't look at me with those terrifying looks in your eyes! Though I've got to say this is quite the interesting method of travel~ I wonder if you'll be able to escape if I kill this bird?"
Before he could do anything, Enel flashed towards him, attempting to attack him, however Kizaru dodged at the last second, appearing in the air away from the bird.
"My My, what terrifying speed you have~"
