"Miss Healer, the situation in Frost Pack has stabilized. Our mission here is complete, so I'll be moving on. I heard things there are also resolved. Would you like me to send enforcers to escort you?"
I had almost forgotten. I was The Healer, meant to observe all candidates. After accompanying Richard, I still had two more candidates to follow.
"There's no need. I'll come there myself."
"Understood. I'll be waiting, Miss Healer."
I informed Richard immediately, before he became too busy to find.
His expression looked almost betrayed. "The mission here isn't over yet. Look—we're still busy. Please don't leave yet."
"As The Healer, I have my own duties. I'll assist Commander Dawn's mission, then return to the West Region for Darren's crowning ritual."
I left right away, not staying long enough to watch the disappointment on his face.
