After the meeting, I was led to my room to rest. Once inside, I used my detection aura to ensure no one was nearby.
"Cancel the previous plan. We'll leave traces in Stone Pack," I instructed Eson.
My bodyguard—and combat instructor—nodded without question. He already understood why I had changed course.
I murmured, "We'll show them… they can't just use The Witch's name however they please."
Another meeting was held the next day. This time, Alpha Stone delivered the report. He presented several points suspected to be the kidnappers' hideouts.
"We've already searched three locations with no results. There are three more that haven't been explored because the areas are quite tricky. There are many ways traps could be set in those locations. The warriors of Stone Pack alone won't be enough to cover them," Alpha Stone explained, pointing out where they needed assistance.
Once again, comparing Sand Pack and Stone Pack felt like comparing two entirely different worlds.
