"I guess this little hole is the only entrance." William headed towards the sound until he hit a wall; the only way he found was a small hole in the wall.
"Judging by the state of the rocks, I'd say there was a landslide; this space should be large enough for a Trasgo to cross."
With no other way in, Will took the form of a cat. It was a large open space; everything seemed to have been dug by hand. Unlike the walls of the mine, these were walls of earth.
"So first they made an underground burrow and it collided with the old mine..."
This space was illuminated; the moon had finally appeared, its light entering through a hole in the ceiling.
"That must be the queen...she's enormous."
"She's so fat and big that she can't leave this room; she depends on the little ones for food."
William had finally found the Queen, an enormous Trasgo at least two and a half meters tall, with thick arms. Unlike the smaller ones, the Queen did not have sharp claws; they looked more like hooves. Her skin was warty and thick, and some tufts of hair covered her bald head. She had a huge belly.
(Now that she is distracted) The Trasgo Queen had her back to Will and was using her thick fingers to try to expand a hole in the wall. Will assumed that's where the little Trasgo fed her from.
"Suuuufff"
Will's spear cut through the air, he asserted himself with all his strength and gripped his spear with both hands to deliver a thrust as strong and fast as possible.
His intention was to pierce her heart from behind.
"splat" (Blood splashing)
The queen was faster than she looked; she had sensed Will for a long time. She held the spear blade just centimeters from her chest and had turned her body in an instant.
His powerful, thick-leather-covered fingers held the blade firmly.
(Swallow this, bitch)
Will pressed an emblem on the handle of his spear, the blade split into three, unfurling at a 90-degree angle two more blades, one on the left and one on the right.
"Gruuuuuuaaaa!!!" The enormous Trasgo screamed as his four fingers separated from his palm, his right arm thrust out towards Will in a fit of rage.
(Es rápido....guh!!)
It was faster than William thought it would be; he was thrown like a rag doll against the earthen wall.
(At the very least, he fractured one of my ribs...)
Will had protected himself by instinct, interposing the shaft of his spear between himself and the creature's fist; if he hadn't done so, he would now be spitting out pieces of his internal organs.
(This has to be a joke, it can regenerate)
Even with the burning pain in his lungs and his vision blurred, Will saw the Trasgo Queen's wounds closing at an alarming rate.
(Apparently, she can't regenerate lost limbs.)
His fingers hadn't grown back, which lessened the difficulty; his regeneration wasn't that strong.
(If I land a fatal blow, that should be enough.)
"If he bleeds, he can be killed!!"
After a shout to encourage himself, William launched himself again at that enormous creature. Just before colliding with it, it changed form; a Serval, a small feline capable of reaching 50 miles per hour in short bursts, slithered between his legs.
"Gruuuuuuaaaaaaaa!!!"
The scream was more piercing this time, filled with intense pain. William had torn a thick section of flesh from her neck in his Grimm form; now he was almost the same size as the Trasgo Queen. His sharp claws easily tore through her thick leather, opening large wounds on her back.
"Graaaaa!!!" The enormous Trasgo screamed, taking steps backward, his plan to smash William against the wall.
"¡¡¡Bum!!!"
The whole cavern rumbled; Will had escaped the tackle by leaping into his Serval form from his shoulders.
A small bottle of brandy flew through the air, crashing squarely into the face of the Trasgo Queen and bursting into furious flames.
It was a homemade Molotov cocktail, made with a piece of paper with a "little flame" rune drawn on it. The Stones used this rune when making lighters that didn't run out and didn't require fuel, a real luxury.
Now this enormous and heavy creature was blind, gripped by panic and fear, and began to attack left and right; its powerful fists turned the rocks in its path to dust.
It would take longer to regenerate a burn wound.
When it had finally calmed down, a breeze caught the attention of the Trasgo Queen right above her head; seconds later, intense pain flooded her neck. Will's sharp spear had pierced her neck from above.
With all of William's weight concentrated on the tip of his spear and with the force of gravity, the spear pierced the Trasgo Queen's neck completely.
The gleaming silver tip emerged from his chin through leather, fat, muscle, and bone, making its way all the way without any resistance.
"Click"
The mechanism clicked, and the left and right blades unfolded from the central blade.
The enormous head fell to the ground with a wet, dull thud, spilling foul-smelling blood all over the place. William's plan was simple: he climbed the vines on the wall to the highest point of the cavern, and when his target was still, he swooped down on him, aiming for his neck. The previous wound had mostly closed.
It was the same principle used by a needle: applying force over a small surface increases its penetrating power.
The Trasgo Queen fell to her knees, William still standing on her shoulders, holding his spear where the Trasgo Queen's head used to be.
"He asked me if the poison would have made the fight easier, or if his regeneration would stop its effect."

"Now how do we get out of here?"
William felt very sore and tired, but at the same time he could still feel the adrenaline coursing through his body.
Forest near Nevermore
"So what are you doing here so late?"
William asked curiously. At first, he planned to run to his bedroom and sleep, but he changed his mind and decided to take a walk in the woods, to feel the first rays of the sun at dawn. He had spent too much time in complete darkness.
"Early morning is the best time to find insects with a light trap" (?)
"Oh, that one where you put a white sheet and a flashlight, and the insects gather around." William knew about those traps from television documentaries.
"Yes, that one, would you like to stay and watch? I'm just about to put it on!!" The young man with chubby cheeks and thick glasses sounded excited.
"I'm not that big a fan of insects." William had taken off his dirty windbreaker, he was only wearing a black t-shirt, and was sitting on the trunk of a freshly cut tree.
(Uwa is great, I can't believe we're almost the same age!!) (?)
"Don't worry, it's time for the butterflies to come out of their chrysalides, there will be many of them." (?)
"Butterflies, then I'll stay a while, until the sun comes out." After a brief glance at his watch, William agreed to accompany the young man.
"That's right, I'm William Stone." (Will)
"Of course I know you. You were the one who found the missing girl. I'm Eugene Ottinger."
"You also attracted attention on the first day. Everyone was talking about the handsome boy in white."
"Thanks, I guess..." Will closed his eyes and waited in silence.
A few minutes later, the light trap was ready, and dozens of multicolored butterflies fluttered around.
William watched them, and Eugene took some photos and captured a few.
"It's here, it's very rare, how lucky we were to see it" (Eugene) Eugene pointed to a small, bright red butterfly.
"They say they're born where a lot of blood has been spilled, of course, it's just rumors." Eugene adjusts his glasses.
"You won't catch her, will you?" (Will)
"There are so few of them left that they need to reproduce," Eugene said, content with a photo.
(I'll tell Mom I got to talk to a really popular guy.) (Eugene)
"Then I'll go back to Caliban Hall." Dawn had broken. Will enjoyed the sun for a while, but now he was sleepy; now he would run to his bed.
"Don't go too far from Nevermore, it's dangerous." (Will)
"Sure, see you later...Wow." (Eugene)
William shifted into a Serval, disappearing among the trees like a shadow.
"Shapeshifting, more impressive than controlling bees..."
Caliban Hall, William's Dormitory
"You're back?" (Xavier)
"I didn't think it would take so long." (William)
"You're lucky Professor Vlad likes you. He didn't ask why you weren't in the dormitory." (Xavier)
"Thanks for covering for me, I owe you two," William said.
"And one for Bianca," Xavier replied with a smile.
William grabbed a change of clothes, took a shower, and collapsed onto his bed, but not before leaning his spear against the wall.
(I wonder if the spear has a name... I should ask Father.) (William)
