(This time it was a more dangerous mission than the last one; hunting a goblin queen was much more difficult than making a ring.) (William)
(Maybe the first mission was for beginners, but I guess the next ones will be just as dangerous or difficult as these.)

(Did Xavier forget something before leaving this morning? No, this smell is Enid's. What is she doing in my room so early?) — (Will).
"He's asleep," said Enid, who slowly entered the room, put her pink backpack on the floor, and looked at William in bed. Today was Sunday, and William was still sore from the previous fight; he planned to rest until noon.
(He's so cute when he sleeps, and he's sexier than I thought. Maybe I can touch him a little without waking him up.)
William's stomach was exposed, his T-shirt had ridden up to his waist, revealing his six-pack abs.
Enid sat on the bed and reached her soft hand out towards William's exposed muscles.
(They're hard) (Enid)
"Click"
"Wooaa!!"
Enid cried out in surprise when she felt William grab her waist and easily lift her onto his lap, straddling his waist. Her phone fell to the floor.
"Tell me if he's awake, for God's sake, you almost gave me a heart attack!" (Enid)
Enid wrinkled her nose in annoyance, tapping Wil's chest lightly. He groaned in pain, his ribs still hurting a little.
"What's wrong? I didn't hit you that hard. For God's sake, Will, who did this to you? We need to go to the infirmary right away."
Enid panicked when she heard him groan in pain. She quickly lifted his shirt to reveal a huge bruise covering most of his upper abdomen. Seeing such an injury, she felt fear, her breathing quickened, and her nails expanded into sharp claws.
"Calm down, Enid, take a deep breath. It was just a small bump. It will heal in a few days."
William held Enid's hands and felt her slight trembling. He decided it would be more effective to draw her attention to something else.
(Something that catches her attention more than my wound...) (William)
I wrap my arms firmly around her slender waist, touch her nose with mine, and press my lips against Enid's. The soft, delicate touch of her lips is perfect.
Enid's sharp claws reappeared, this time out of excitement. They finally shared their first kiss. The situation wasn't the best or the most romantic, but it was an important moment for both of them at that moment.
(Maybe this was just an excuse to finally kiss Enid) (William)
(You finally dared, slowpoke) (Enid)
At first, Enid was surprised, but then excitement took over, she pushed William onto the bed and joined her lips with his again. William was a man, after all, and he couldn't resist the temptation, entwining his tongue with Enid's.
After a few minutes, when they separated their lips, a faint silver thread connected them both, their hearts beating wildly, their breathing ragged, they could hear and feel each other so close to them.
(Just a little more) (Enid)
Enid brought her face close to William's again. She was a passionate werewolf by nature and really liked William, from his appearance to his personality. She found it strangely charming how he was kind to his friends and somewhat cold to strangers.
"So you fought this huge monster last night, the one that left you wounded. Why would you do something like that, putting your own life at risk?" (Enid)
William had told her everything that happened last night, how he got that big wound, and even showed her photos of the corpses. That was the only reason he went to such trouble; she was very worried about him being reckless and very dangerous.
"I would say it's to unlock my potential. Before facing the Goblin Queen, it was impossible for me to change into something capable of flying. Putting my life on the line helped me overcome that barrier." (William)
"This world is dangerous for both Normies and Outcasts. That little girl was about to be devoured by those creatures just because of her mother's momentary lapse in attention." (William)
"I can't say I fully understand, but I understand that you have your reasons, and I support you, William."
"Just be very careful and always let me know when you go out to do something like this." (Enid)
"Of course, I'm sorry to worry you."
Enid remained seated on William, hugging his neck. William liked this position; he could feel Enid's pleasant weight, hug her waist and, if necessary, see her face. She was soft, smelled great and felt like a perfect pillow.
(Time to take a closer look at what I won, although I did glance at it last night...) (William)
A ring emerged from the void in his palm, a delicate and beautiful silver ring shaped like a powerful four-winged eagle. Without wasting any time, William placed the ring on his right hand, right next to Grimm's ring. The two seemed to resonate with each other, and with a flash, a pair of gems emerged from the eye sockets of both animals.
(For some reason, I feel like they're more alive.) (William)
A great torrent of information flooded William's mind, from how the birds were composed, their hollow bones, feathers, muscles, their eyes that were capable of seeing eight times farther than a human eye, to memories of how to fly and perform manoeuvres in the air, all of which would prevent William from crashing to the ground on his first attempt at flying.
Second on the list was the Goblin Queen's medal, a small medal the size of a fingernail made of something resembling silver, illustrated in the centre with what looked like a crown surrounding a fang.
He held it in his palm. At first, he felt nothing except a slight vibration from the medallion in his palm. It took him a minute to come to a complete stop.
"Now you can transform into a bird?" Enid moved away from him, smiling as cheerfully as ever.
"Of course, do you want to see?" William walked to the centre of the room, crossed both arms over his chest, and crouched down. A majestic golden eagle took his place. It was enormous, at least a metre twenty tall. Unlike conventional birds, William's form had four wings, two large and two smaller, covered in silver feathers and with golden eyes.
"Incredible," Enid said, her mouth open in surprise. William had always appeared to her as a harmless domestic cat of different colours, nothing so large and threatening.
"Your feathers are thick and soft. Can you change colour like you did in cat form?"
Enid sat down on the floor, on her legs, to be at William's eye level.
"It's a pretty silver colour" (Enid).
William shook his head; the colour was something he couldn't change, either in his Grimm form or in his golden eagle form. William changed shape again, now in his Grimm form, which was even larger than before. His fur looked like it was made of shadows, and he was sure that his figure could disappear into the darkness.
"I thought Enid would be afraid of this form" (William).
Enid felt no fear. She was focused on seeing every inch of William's form and even hugged him around the neck.
"You're huge like a bear," she said with a laugh.
"You're as soft as silk, you don't smell of anything, and I've lived with my older brothers and parents every full moon, you don't scare me." Enid seemed to know what was worrying William.
William changed back into human form, feeling Enid's tone become sad after she mentioned her family.
This time it was William's turn to hold her in his arms. He had an idea what it was about.
"I've never turned into a werewolf, even after going to these werewolf camps or taking different remedies. It didn't work. I'm afraid I'll never be able to do it."
"And if I can never change, I'll never be part of any pack. I'm afraid of being alone and disappointing my family." (Enid)
Enid talked to William about how she felt, how she didn't fit in with the other werewolves, the pressure she felt from her mother. She felt like an outcast among outcasts. She was also aware that not everyone liked her personality.
"No one can be liked by everyone, there will always be people who don't like you and that's okay. A lot of people don't like me, especially men. I don't have a pack, and neither did my father."
"There are so few of us left that I am the only one of my kind in Nevermore. I never thought about having one."
"But if you want, I can be your pack and you can be mine. You'll never be alone. I'll be by your side if you want me to."
After saying those words, William realised how possessive and intense they sounded.
"Of course I'd love to." Enid had tears in her eyes; it was a sensitive subject for her, but now she felt she had someone with whom to share some of the pressure she was under.
