Chapter 32 - The magic pocket (4)

We quickly found the client who sent the letter — Jin You.

A game prompt box appeared on the NPC Jin You's desk.

--

The marching competition is imminent, but some KRS members still refuse to attend marching practice. Can you help me persuade them to come to the practice session later?

--

Zi Qian took out his ballpoint pen from his pocket, lightly tapped the "Accept Quest" text, and the desktop displayed huge words: "Class 5-1 has accepted the quest."

"Thank you so much. I hope our KRS can have one complete practice with full attendance before the marching competition." said Jin You

Xin Hui and Zi Qian seemed to know exactly where to go next. They didn't ask the NPCs in the classroom for information at all, but went straight for the door. I didn't linger in the classroom either, simply following them up the stairs.

We still didn't talk along the way, but the atmosphere wasn't as awkward as before, because we encountered robots at every stairwell on each floor.

"This time, I have a lightsaber. I won't be beaten black and blue by you again!" I thought to myself gleefully, excitedly waving my lightsaber and quickly dispatching one robot.

Reaching the top floor of Building 5, we passed the first three classrooms. The doors of all three were closed, with signs saying "Practice in Session" posted on them.

The door of the last classroom was slightly ajar. Before we could even enter, two robots suddenly appeared behind us. Being at the very back, I swiftly dodged the attack from the red lightsaber and seizing the opportunity used a Spinning Slash, taking care of both robots in one go.

I don't know if I was overthinking it, but I always felt that every time I fought robots, Zi Qian would stare at me, intentionally or not.

After storing my weapon, I followed Xin Hui and Zi Qian into the classroom.

Inside the classroom, the most eye-catching thing was the various graffiti on the whiteboard.

--

We are the strongest!

Only losers go to practice!

Resting is always for the longer road.

--

The NPCs inside the classroom, wearing KRS uniforms, were all snacking, chatting, reading comics, and one NPC was even sleeping with their head on the desk.

"We are the five-time consecutive marching champions. Even if we don't practice, we'll still win," said a male NPC with his feet propped up on the desk, munching on sunflower seeds.

"Yeah! Plus, our Chairman is a genius. He'll definitely lead our KRS to defeat the other groups. This championship is ours for sure," a female NPC reading comics nearby chimed in.

"Who are you? Get out! This isn't a place for you," the seed-munching male NPC shouted at us, came over, rudely pushed us out of the classroom, and then closed the classroom door.
