Chapter 20 - Mr.orbis and the clans

The Architect Reveals the Truth

The world trembled.

Not the physical world—

but the veil, the invisible curtain separating humanity from the truth.

And in the heart of an endless void stood Mr. Orbis.

Calm.

Smiling.

Watching the chaos of every door—Green, Red, White, Yellow—unfolding like blooming flowers of misery.

Only the Black Door remained untouched.

Mr. Orbis lifted a hand, tracing symbols in the air.

Reality rippled.

His smile widened.

"Now," he said softly,

"the icing on the cake."

---

The Message

Every single person who stepped through ANY door—

except the Black Door—

froze as a light appeared before them.

A System Notification burned across the sky, visible not just to the chosen…

but burned into their very souls.

---

"WORLD MESSAGE — MR ORBIS"

**Become strong to save your families.

This world will show no mercy.**

**Across this realm I have planted SEEDS.

Those who find them…

unlock their path.**

---

The message expanded.

Glowing symbols shifted into three colossal crests—

three bloodlines older than time.

---

The Three Major Clans

1. The Hunter Clan

Blessed with Qi, Magic, or both—forming the rare power called Will.

These are the ones who shape the world with discipline, technique, and mind.

The Hunter crest glowed with symbols of bows, spell sigils, and flowing energy.

---

2. The Beastmen / Weremen Clan

Blessed with the Strength and Will of Beasts.

Their powers come from real predators—

wolves

lions

bears

tigers

panthers

hyenas

and every predator mammal that existed on Earth.

Their bodies change.

Their senses sharpen.

Their nature awakens.

Strength born of fang and fury. That depends on what beastry is attached to you

---

3. The Royal Clan — The Dragonblooded

Blessed with both and more.

Power that commands storms, bends mana, crushes mountains.

This clan stands above all others.

The crest of the Dragon blazed gold—

a reminder of who rules the battlefield.

---

The Seeds

A new line appeared in the message, pulsing with warning:

---

"Each seed grants one path."

Levels: Lowest → Highest.

The stronger the seed, the stronger the clan position you gain.

---

Points appeared below like burning runes:

---

"Points gained from kills = Power upon returning to Earth"

**The more you survive, the more you slay,

the higher your worth when the worlds merge.**

**Your families will live or die

based on your progress.**

---

The message ended.

A final whisper echoed through every mind:

"Do not fail."

— Weeks After Rebirth (Victor → Kai)

Victor's POV

Weeks passed since the day I died and opened my eyes again—

small, blind, helpless… and reborn.

Reborn as a wolf pup.

My mother's warmth pressed against my side, her breath slow and steady. My siblings rolled, tackled, bit, and squealed around the cave. Chaos. Pure chaos.

Me?

I stayed still. Quiet. Watching.

A pup stumbled toward me—white fur with a small grey stripe.

"Let's play!" he yipped.

Mother—Lola—nudged me gently.

"Go on, Kai… play with your brother and sisters."

I blinked.

Brother?

Well… in my defense—they all looked the same to me.

The next moment I stood, stretched my small legs, and wandered toward the cave entrance. Fresh air. Light. Freedom.

My siblings froze behind me, shocked.

Then—like shadows—they scrambled to follow.

Outside the den, dozens of wolves and pups turned to stare.

Eyes following us.

The pressure of their attention was suffocating.

A shove hit my back.

A trembling sound.

I turned.

My siblings were shaking—fur puffed, tails tucked.

Fear. Instinctive fear.

Then I saw him—

A black wolf towering above all others.

A throne of stone beneath him.

A ring of warriors around him.

My father. Luka. Alpha of the pack.

Many pups bolted back to Mother, whimpering.

Only two of us remained—

me, and one trembling brother.

I signaled him silently: follow me.

Then walked straight toward the Alpha without lowering my head.

And sat beside him.

---

Luka's POV

From my throne, I watched my offspring emerge.

The one leading them had black fur—

my fur.

My blood.

But then I sensed killing intent.

Some of my pups ran back.

Weaklings.

Only two remained…

Blackfur moved without hesitation. Bold. Confident.

The other shook so hard he could barely breathe.

Then—I saw it.

A slightly older pup, two months at least, stepped forward to intimidate the trembling one.

And Blackfur—

my son—

rushed to stand between them.

He protects the weak?

Why?

Interesting.

Very interesting.

---

Victor (Kai) POV

As soon as I sat beside Father's enormous frame, I noticed my brother wasn't behind me.

A young wolf—bigger than us, older—stood before him, pushing his face close, releasing a pressure I could feel.

My body grew heavy.

Breath tight.

Father watched me.

Judging me.

I knew then—

I was on my own.

So I attacked first.

I lunged and struck for the brute's eye.

He tried to dodge—too slow.

Blood splattered.

He staggered back, snarling.

Then he charged me.

But he didn't reach me.

Because a roar—deep, ancient, thunderous—shook the clearing.

Father.

His growl crushed the young wolf flat to the ground.

The pressure lifted from me.

I exhaled sharply.

But irritation burned in my chest.

What took him so long?

I turned to check my brother—

gone.

"Traitor…" I muttered.

A moment later, Mother emerged carrying him and my sisters.

Ah.

He ran to get help.

Makes sense.

---

The Naming Ceremony

The fight ended.

The forest quieted.

Father stepped forward, raised his head, and released a powerful howl.

Wolves gathered immediately.

"The naming of the offspring"—the sacred ritual—was beginning.

One by one, he named them:

Lulu.

Lupa.

Luna.

Then he looked at my brother.

"Bruno."

Silence settled.

Then his eyes landed on me.

A smile—rare and terrifying—spread across his muzzle.

He spoke my name.

"Kai."

Gasps erupted.

Mother froze.

Warriors stiffened.

Even I stared at him.

That name…

Kai

—the name of the first Alpha.

The founder of the pack.

A name belonging to the wolf who once waged war against beasts and men.

How did Luka know it?

Every wolf wanted to protest, but one look from the Alpha silenced them.

They bowed their heads and accepted it.

And I realized something:

I wasn't just a pup.

I was becoming something far more dangerous.
