My Result has arrived. I took the papers who were lying on the ground in my shaky hands, hands who were trembling and palms who had sweat on them.
Those papers contained names of all those candidates who have cleared the exam.
"Let's relax...no need to panic" I told myself these words. I inhaled a long deep breath.
I looked into the papers and kept searching for my name. "Not on this page, not on this too....eshaan ...eshaan"
Pages were turned back and fro multiple times. "What...? Why?" Lumps in my throats.
Water in Glass got spilled on the side table as I tried to grab it. "What is this? Why is this? " I checked again.
Suddenly my father came into the room with a cloth bag in his right hand. He looked at the spilled water, at papers and at my face who reflected sorrow.
"What is the result?" He asked in a very rough tone. I didn't answer. I couldn't. I was scared. He put the bag on the side table and went inside his bedroom.
Even though I was scared and sad, even though I had no mood to do anything else, I still eavesdropped.
"He failed" he said to my mom.
I didn't have to do eavesdropping, I could hear him fine.
"Useless, How much resources I wasted on him?" He yelled, "Your son is useless".
"He is your son too, I gave birth to your son, and what if he couldn't clean a stupid exam, he can do better somewhere else in his life!" My mom replied in the same anger.
"He can't do anygood, he is useless, pathetic..." he yelled again
I had heard enough till this point , I walked outside the house.
My eyes are tired, I squinted too much to stop myself from crying. I kept walking. I didn't know yet where I was going but I did knew that I was not coming back. I saw Natasha in the town. What is she doing here I thought, she lives in the mountains.
I looked at her way and saw she was talking to another boy. I looked at them. Natasha noticed me and tried to wave towards me but I ignored her and kept walking.
The rain poured. Maybe I can cry now.
