Miss Levy's expression was still flushed with embarrassment for a while, even after Ragna had left. It was the first time a male didn't react to her looks. To top it all, she was almost naked, yet he still didn't show any sign of reaction.
She would have thought he was gay, if not for the way he quickly shook his head indicating he wasn't. The look in his eyes was deadpan and solemn.
Eventually, she threw these embarrassing thoughts into the back of her mind, as she fell into contemplation.
'He seemed to have changed beyond reason, even his demeanor and way of speaking.'
When he barged in, she reacted instinctively and threw the knife by her side at him, but surprisingly, not only was he not startled by her attack, he also seemed to had anticipated it by the way he easily dodged it.
This wasn't a change that could happen in a matter of a day, the only explanation was that he had been hiding his personality and powers the whole time.
From the day she caught him sleeping in her class to his answer to her question, she had begun to notice these changes.
'Something doesn't seem right, I wonder what the kid is hiding. '
She thought for a moment, before continuing with what she was doing before, as she was too embarrassed to go out at that moment after what happened.
Meanwhile, Ragna was teasing the cursed fragment soul in his mind.
"So, kid, how does it feel, finally seeing your crush naked? Shouldn't I get a thank you for making one of your biggest wishes come through, huh?"
There was a smirk on his expression as he said that, even though the cursed fragment soul said nothing, he could perceive it was blushing, if not for the fact that it wasn't the one controlling the body, it would have had a boner right in front of the teacher.
As for why he didn't have any sort of reaction, he had simply lived too long to care about sex, he wasn't some xianxian protagonist who was always falling in love every fifty chapters with heavenly beauties.
At the same time, he was sure his strange actions definitely didn't go unnoticed in the academy; of course, they would find nothing even if they scanned him.
However, he still needed to be careful and not overdo things, he wasn't confident that this world's technology hadn't evolved enough to detect the system or the cursed fragment soul in his mind.
These were the thoughts in his head; he wasn't stupid enough to believe someone who was a failed awakener for years. Suddenly becoming strong wasn't strange.
'I need to be careful and cautious. The only way to quickly become stronger is by absorbing more cursed fragment souls, to gain more abilities. As I am currently, I am far too weak; if my Agility hadn't surpassed twenty points, I definitely would have been injured by her attack.'
Although he was cautious of the drawback of absorbing cursed fragment souls, he couldn't rely on just increasing his stats and the daily quests to become stronger.
There was only so much he could gain from just training his body regularly and increasing his stats.
'I wonder how long I would have to wait before locating those trio and absorbing their abilities. Even though their abilities don't seem too strong, it should be somewhat of a help to my current self.'
Thirty minutes later…
A kid could be seen walking out of Westmarch Academy on his hands with dirty gloves that were being removed. He couldn't help but stare at the sky; it was almost dark at this moment.
This kid was none other than Ragna.
He had just finished cleaning the school and was heading home. At this moment, he couldn't help but think about Miss Levy, not for the reasons anyone would expect, but for something else, and that was her ability.
He couldn't help but imagine what it was, and if he should just kill her and absorb her ability, these were the thoughts in his head when she had thrown that knife at him.
But after their little confrontation at her office, albeit it barely lasted a second he could tell immediately that she wasn't someone his current self could handle, and that the only reason why he had come out unscathed was due to his vast combat experience and stats.
At the same time, if they had actually fought he couldn't guarantee what the results would be like, considering it had barely been a month since he transmigrated to this world, and had not absorbed any abilities yet.
His chances of winning were less than ten, and he simply thought it wasn't a smart choice to even fight at the school, where he had no idea if there were other strong awakeners around.
Another reason why he thought it wasn't a smart choice was what the cursed fragment soul had told him regarding Miss Levy: that she was part of some special organization of awakeners that was described to house the most powerful awakeners in their galaxy, and even her background might be special.
At the end, he had given up on that thought; he was yet to have enough power to face off against a rank 5 awakener not to mention an entire organization of awakeners at this point.
'This might prove why she's being treated differently in the academy.'
Ragna was in deep thought.
