Chapter 5 - CHAPTER 4: I despise you

My violet eyes stared at the boy whom I hate the most in this world. Suzaku Kururugi. The second I appear back, you come to me like a moth flying towards the burning light.

As I saw those emerald eyes with a pretended friendly gaze, I felt my whole body freezing with overwhelming repugnance. How dare this traitor appear in front of me. Because of HIM Nunnally has disappeared! BECAUSE OF HIM I HAD BEEN LIVING A LIE!

Teacher: "You can sit next to Lelouch".

With every step the brunette took, my anger stirred within me.

Once Suzaku stopped in front of me. I had to put a facade on and pretend like I didn't remember anything of what his selfish nature had done to me.

I extended my hand to him and gave him the most realistic welcoming smile.

Lelouch: "Long time no see, Suzaku. Have you been well?"

Suzaku: "I'm glad we met again." The brunette said kindly.

As soon as I heard those words I knew he was definitely hinting something else.

Lelouch nodded in response and focused back on the teacher.

Why did he have to appear now that things were going as I planned. But now I have to deal with my biggest enemy. The traitor of the nation.

Throughout the day I kept thinking about Suzaku. The brunette is making me feel paranoid.

I hate how he acts like he is almighty, with his emerald eyes expressing the light he doesn't have.

He walks around with a peaceful smile and talks as if he didn't kill as many people as I did.

What makes us so different, Suzaku? You fight for an empire that doesn't even recognize you as anything other than a mere eleven.

The raven-haired walked out of the school gates. Today, the classes ended earlier for some reason. Which meant that he could go back to his dorm earlier. That was exactly what he needed. Lelouch was thinking of a way to avoid contact with the Japanese soldier as much as he could.

Once he arrived at his room, he closed the door and locked it behind him. The black-haired slowly took his school uniform jacket off and sat on his desk.

The violet-eyed opened his laptop and started to search for key points to proceed with his plans.

How come that everytime I come up with a new plan, Suzaku is always the variable I can't avoid?

The black-haired thought as he sighed in frustration.

He rubbed his eyes with tiredness and stretched in his seat.

If he finds out I regained my memory, all of my efforts will be in vain.

Lelouch rested his head on the desk. Feeling tired. With a sigh, he slowly closed his eyes, just to get a little rest.
