Chapter 19 - "A Saiyan's New Path: Targeting King Kai."

"By the way, Master Cat, I've got a question for you."

"Ask away, anything I know I'll answer, meow!" Cat sensed he'd been a little harsh on Broly before and maybe felt guilty. Wanting to make up for it, he pounded his chest with a dramatic thump and promised sincerely.

"I heard Master Mutaito mention the Ultra Divine Water. They said it's the real deal, the water that lives up to its legend. Drinking it can awaken hidden potential in the body. Do you know how to find it?" Broly's goal in visiting Karin Tower was twofold: senzu beans, and the Ultra Divine Water. Unlike ordinary holy water, this water wasn't just a healing drink—it could truly unlock potential.

In his previous life, Dragon Ball fans had argued endlessly about Ultra Divine Water. Some believed it was genuinely miraculous, capable of awakening and endlessly boosting potential. Others thought it was just a plot device, something created to help Goku defeat Piccolo.

The only thing both sides agreed on: it was extremely toxic. Goku, after drinking it, had a weaker immune system compared to other Saiyans. Combine the water with gravity training and Kaioken, and each alone was hard on the body—together, it was brutal. Goku rarely gave himself time to recover, which eventually led to his viral heart disease. His future heart problems weren't entirely unrelated to taking the Ultra Divine Water in his youth.

"Ultra Divine Water does have incredible power," Cat explained, "but it's toxic. If you survive it, your potential spikes—but for our first collaboration, and so we can work well together in the future, I'll give you some advice:

Only drink it if there's no other choice. Even if you get lucky and survive, it comes at a cost. The poison lingers in your body, slowly growing, until one day it explodes.

The strangest part? This poison isn't harmful in itself. But it nourishes harmful substances already in your body. Nobody knows which pathogen it will feed. And if it fuels some untreatable disease… well, then you're in real trouble."

Cat may have been thinking long-term. Broly could become a major client of his, and he didn't want him recklessly drinking the Ultra Divine Water.

Broly frowned, but after thinking it over, he relaxed. With his terrifying potential, legendary Super Saiyan physiology, and the constant power boost from his Demon Light, one more ultra water wouldn't make a difference. He nodded to Cat in thanks, then left and returned to West City.

Back in West City, Broly focused on finishing his last early-Dragon Ball mission. Once that was done, he could stop running all over the world and spend more time with his "second ladies." After a week of that, he set his sights on a new target: North Kai's Planet.

Yes—the same planet where Goku learned Kaioken and the Spirit Bomb. Why go there? Simple. Broly wanted to see if he could learn those two techniques. In the system shop, each skill cost 50,000 points, 100,000 together—a fair price for perfect, instantaneous movement.

To earn those 100,000 points, Broly needed to try his luck with the North Kai, who apparently liked bad jokes.

Broly turned to the Fortune-Telling Granny for help to visit the Underworld and meet King Enma. She initially refused, but Broly's wealth persuasion was too much even for her. She reluctantly gave in… showing a lot less scruples than Master Roshi.

"Kid, don't go saying random stuff down there, and don't tell anyone I helped you. I'm bending the rules here, risking punishment from King Enma, and this is the first and last time. If you get kicked out, don't bother coming back to me." Granny's expression screamed "I'm only doing this because I have to, not for the money."

"No problem. Just get me in, everything else is on me," Broly said confidently. He'd even prepared a recommendation letter from the Celestial God, but the god admitted living humans couldn't simply enter the Underworld. No matter—the Broly had Instant Transmission, which let him enter any location filled with ki at will.

King Enma didn't ask much about the recommendation. He just explained a few details about the Snake Way and let Broly pass, putting the super-powered Saiyan's mind at ease.

Since Snake Way was empty, Instant Transmission couldn't skip to a deserted spot. That meant Broly couldn't constantly zip between Snake Way and Bulma's house. He wasn't as patient as Goku, who had run Snake Way for six months. Even with his power and Flight, it still meant he'd be away from Bulma and friends for a while.

He asked Second-Hare (his system assistant) for a solution and, unsurprisingly, found a highly practical and reasonably priced item in the system shop:

Locator Flag: A consumable item. 100 points for 10 uses, 900 points for 100, 8,000 points for 1,000, 50,000 points unlimited.

The flag can mark up to three locations anywhere (not limited to Earth). Once all three are used, you must remove one before adding a new one. Infuse your ki into the flag, sense the marked locations, and teleport there instantly—basically like Instant Transmission.

Note: If uses run out, you can spend points to refill. New uses stack with remaining ones.

Broly immediately spent 100 points for a palm-sized flag. "This will do for now. Once I hit 50,000 points, I can upgrade to proper Instant Transmission—like the one from Jebit, but faster, stronger, more responsive. Way better than this little flag."

With that, Broly flew along Snake Way toward King Kai's planet, marking coordinates when tired, teleporting back home to see Bulma and tease Launch, then returning to Snake Way to continue his journey.

After more than a month, he finally reached the end of Snake Way and saw King Kai's planet.
