The scene shifts to U.A. High.
"So this is U.A. High…" Izuku thought, staring up at the massive gates.
"Do your best, Izuku-kun!" Nana Shimura's cheerful voice echoed behind him.
"Are you always this loud, grandma?" Izuku replied.
"You brat! I was only thirty when I died!" Nana snapped, shrinking into her pixie form and flying toward him as if to punch him—only to pass straight through his torso.
"Welp. So much for that," Izuku sighed.
Nana frowned, arms crossed. "I'll get back at you one day."
"Yeah, sure you will."
Well, I also died when I was thirty, so I can't blame her… But teasing her is fun. She's totally my type. Too bad she's a ghost. Izuku chuckled internally as he continued walking.
Suddenly, Danger Sense flared.
"What, you got keen senses now, huh, Izuku?" Bakugo clicked his tongue as he walked up beside him.
"Kacchan, you're just slow."
"Teme, I'll kill you!"
"Yeah, yeah, I'm shaking."
They walked toward the building.
"By the way, how's your quirk? Still breaking bones?" Bakugo asked.
"Not really. I'm getting the hang of it."
"Getting the hang of it? You took nine whole months. Even a kid would've done better," Nana teased.
"You hag… Why did OFA have to pick you…?" Izuku grumbled under his breath.
"Oii, Izuku, why are you frowning suddenly?" Bakugo asked.
"Nothing. Just a bug annoying me."
"A bug? You brat…" Nana muttered.
"Want me to blast it?" Bakugo offered.
"Yeah, I'll let you know when I find it again," Izuku said dryly.
Inside Classroom 1-A
Oh, the whole main cast is here… where's Shoto? He's my favorite. Guess he's not here yet, Izuku thought as he scanned the room.
"Huh. Bunch of normies," Bakugo spat.
"Kacchan, you shouldn't say—"
"You're a normie too, Deku. Just wait. I'm gonna be the No.1 Hero. I'll surpass All Might!" Bakugo declared loudly, palm sparking.
Everyone in the class stared.
"What are you looking at?!" he barked.
A voice came from a yellow sleeping bag on the floor.
"So loud… so early in the morning…" Aizawa muttered as he unzipped himself.
"Surpass All Might? You brat, you think All Might is a joke?"
"I'm not joking, you geezer! I'll surpass him and become the greatest hero!"
Nana giggled. Heh, this kid's got guts.
Yeah… Kacchan is always like this, Izuku thought proudly.
"I like that, brat," Aizawa said. "Looks like you didn't top the entrance exam for nothing."
He stood up fully. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa. And now we'll be doing a test to see if any of you are even qualified to be heroes. Fail… and you're expelled."
"Expelled?! We just passed the entrance exam! You can't do that!" Kirishima shouted.
"Actually I can. I did the same thing last year," Aizawa said calmly.
The class erupted in panic.
"Izuku-kun, this is bad! What should we do?! You're going to get expelled!" Nana cried.
You hag. I'm not getting expelled.
"Move to the training grounds," Aizawa ordered.
Tests Begin
Aizawa folded his arms. "There will be seven tests. The one with the lowest average score will be expelled."
After the first tests, the rankings appeared:
1st Test:
1. Iida
2. Shoto Todoroki
3. Katsuki Bakugo
4. Izuku Midoriya
2nd Test:
1. Izuku Midoriya
2. Katsuki Bakugo
3. Shoto Todoroki
…Tests 3, 4, 5, 6 finished soon after.
By average:
1. Katsuki Bakugo
2. Shoto Todoroki
3. Izuku Midoriya
Not bad… I'm doing well so far, Izuku thought.
"If it were me, I'd be in first place," Nana said smugly.
This hag is testing my patience… But canon Izuku ranked last, so this is way better.
Final Test: Ball Throw
"Katsuki Bakugo," Aizawa called.
Bakugo grinned, charging his quirk. "Watch closely, extras."
He hurled the ball with a massive explosion—
900 meters.
He's even stronger than canon, Izuku muttered.
"Next: Izuku Midoriya."
Let's try Full Cowling: 15%.
"You wanna break your bones?!" Nana yelled.
Shut it.
"Full Cowling… 15%!!"
The ball flew across the sky—
350 meters.
Aizawa's eyes widened. Is this the same kid who blew up the zero pointer…?
As Aizawa called the remaining names, Bakugo approached Izuku.
"Oii, Izuku. What was that?"
"What?"
"You're weaker than when we first fought."
"Well… I still can't use my quirk at full power."
Aizawa's ears perked at the word full.
"Not full?" Bakugo repeated.
"Yeah. I'm spreading the force through my whole body to avoid breaking bones."
Aizawa's thoughts sharpened. Was his quirk always that strong? He destroyed the zero pointer… But 15%? I thought he was using more than half… Just how powerful is this enhancement…?
"So you still got a long way to go," Bakugo said.
"Yeah."
"Don't slack off. If you do, I'll kill you."

Meeting Uraraka
"Um… excuse me," a girl's voice said.
"Oh… you're…"
She's Ochako, right?
"Yes! I'm the one you saved! Thank you so much!" she said with a bright smile.
"I'm Ochako Uraraka!"
"I'm Izuku Midoriya. And this is my friend, Katsuki Bakugo."
"Nice to meet you, Midoriya-kun! Bakugo-kun!"
Aizawa clapped his hands for attention.
"You all passed. But don't relax. I won't be easy on you."
"But sensei, what about the lowest average—" Iida started.
"Oh, that? Just motivation."
And with that, Aizawa left.

On the Way Home
Izuku and Bakugo walked down the street when Izuku bumped into someone.
"Ah, you're—"
She's the other girl I saved…
Bakugo narrowed his eyes but said nothing.
The girl vanished instantly.
"S-sorry! I'm just embarrassed to be seen… I just learned to control my quirk… Thank you for saving me that day, Midoriya-kun…" she said, her voice fading as she hurried away.
Invisible Girl… Did she know how to turn visible in canon? Not until the final arc, I think.
Bakugo grabbed Izuku by the collar. "Oii, Izuku… When did you seduce so many girls? It's our first day of school!"
"Kacchan, what are you even talking about?! I just helped them!"
"Whatever. Don't let them interfere with your training."
He's right… you womanizer, Nana teased.
Not you too, grandma!
I know about guys like you. The kind who seduces women and leaves them.
"You're overimagining things…" Izuku grumbled.
He continued home.
Note: No one can see Pixie Nana. When Izuku talks to vestiges, no one else hears them.
