The stadium transformed for Block A's second match—giant rocky cliffs, uneven terrain, and jagged platforms. The perfect stage for chaos.
Izuku Midoriya vs. Hatsume Mei
Hatsume stepped forward with a confident grin, goggles gleaming.
"I've been waiting for this, Midoriya-kun! Today, my babies will show their worth!"
Izuku braced himself.
Right… she knows everything about my quirk. Every weakness. Every strength. This is going to be rough…
Present Mic shouted, "MATCH START!"
Hatsume immediately fired a volley of miniature drones.
They exploded into smoke, light, and sticky gel, blocking vision and slowing movement.
Izuku sprinted up a cliff—
Only for a retractable harpoon wire to wrap around his ankle and yank him down.
"Oof—! She's prepared for everything?!"
"Of course!" Hatsume laughed. "Your quirk strains your limbs, so I developed babies that target your joints and balance! Practical demonstration time!"
Izuku struggled as she blasted forward with jet boots, smacking him with a reinforced gauntlet.
For the first few minutes—
Hatsume had complete upper hand.
But Izuku adjusted.
She's fast, but her boots require a cooldown. The right cannon arm has three shots left. Her traps take time to reset.
He dodged the next drone volley with 20%, then countered by launching a small Air Force blast to break her footing.
"Whoa—!"
She stumbled back, nearly sliding off a cliff edge.
A rock beneath her boot crumbled.
She slipped.
Fell.
"HA—?!"
Izuku's body moved before he thought.
He leapt down, caught Hatsume in the air in his hands bridal style
Dust burst around them as he landed gently on a lower platform.
"Are you okay, Hatsume-san?"
Hatsume went red.
Like… cherry-red. Boiling kettle red.
""H-H-H-HUH?! Y-Y-Y-YOU—W-WHY ARE YOU HOLDING—WHAT—HOW—"
Her voice glitched like a malfunctioning robot.
In the audience—
Hagakure Toru's voice echoed:
"THAT BITCH."
The crowd turned.
Right beside her, a few seats away another voice shouted the same thing—
Fuyumi Todoroki.
Both girls glared death at Hatsume.
Hatsume, still in Izuku's arms, froze like a prey animal from their stares..
"…I think I'm being targeted…"
Izuku blinked innocently. "Eh?"
Before she could combust from embarrassment and understand her feelings, Midnight announced—
"Winner: Midoriya Izuku!"
Izuku gently set her down.
Next match
Shoto Todoroki vs. Tenya Iida
The match hardly lasted three minutes.
Iida pushed his engines to the limit, but Shoto froze the entire left side of the arena in one sweep.
Even so, Iida kept running, kept pushing, until the final strike ended the match.
Shoto bowed.
"You fought well, Iida."
Block B
Momo Yaoyorozu vs. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu
Momo crafted shields, staffs, and bolas at rapid speed.
Tetsutetsu charged through them like an unstoppable train.
The clash lasted long, both refusing to yield…
But in the end—
Momo redirected his charge and knocked him off balance, earning a clean victory.
Katsuki Bakugo vs. Eijiro Kirishima
Hardening vs. Explosions.
It was loud, brutal, and short.
Kirishima tanked explosions like a beast, pushing Bakugo back several times…
But Bakugo's adaptability and unpredictable angles overwhelmed him.
Bakugo won.
SEMIFINALS BEGIN
Izuku Midoriya vs. Shoto Todoroki
The arena shifted again—half ice field, half open concrete.
The stadium roared.
Fuyumi Todoroki stood up, waving a banner with "GO SHOTO!! ALSO GO IZUKU!!" written in glitter.
At the same time, she glared murderously at Hagakure, who refused to back down and glared back although still invisible.
Izuku cracked his knuckles.
Shoto exhaled frost.
"Midoriya… I won't hold back."
"Good. I need you at full power."
Shoto attacked first—an avalanche of ice rushing like a tidal wave.
Izuku shattered through the wall with 30%, launching himself upward.
Shoto spun and fired a barrage of ice spikes.
Izuku twisted midair—
"Air Force Barrage!"
Shockwaves blasted the ice apart.
Shoto switched tactics—massive glacier walls to trap Izuku, followed by close-range ice armor punches.
Izuku ducked under an ice-coated fist—
"Detroit Smash: Air Jet!"
The impact threw shockwaves through the stadium.
Shoto slid back, panting.
A burn mark appeared on his left hand.
"…Use it, Shoto."
"I don't need—"
"Stop lying," Izuku said, stepping forward.
"You want to win? Then fight with everything you have. Not your father's, not your past—YOUR power."
Shoto's breath shook.
Fuyumi clasped her hands at her chest, whispering, "Come on… both of you…"
Finally—
Flames erupted from Shoto's left side.
The entire audience gasped.
Izuku smiled.
"There we go."
Shoto unleashed fire with full force—
Izuku responded with 45%, blasting forward like a green comet.
Fire and wind clashed in a massive explosion.
Smoke cleared—
Izuku stood over Shoto, exhausted but victorious.
"Winner: Midoriya Izuku!"
Endeavor approached Shoto as he exited.
"You finally used your fire. If you want to win—You should have used it from the beginning"
Shoto walked past without looking at him.
"I used it because I wanted to. Not because you said so."
Endeavor clenched his jaw but said nothing more.
BLOCK B SEMIFINALS
Bakugo vs. Momo
Momo fought brilliantly—constructing barriers, stun grenades, and catapults for mobility.
But Bakugo adapted faster.
He detonated her shield from above, forced her into a corner, and ended the match with a precision blast that knocked her out of bounds.
Winner: Bakugo.
FINALS
Izuku Midoriya vs. Katsuki Bakugo
No cliff. No gimmick.
Just a massive city-like arena—towers, bridges, open streets.
"DEKU!" Bakugo roared. "DON'T YOU DARE HOLD BACK!"
"I wasn't planning to!"
BOOM—
Bakugo shot forward with a monstrous explosion, creating a crater behind him.
Izuku dodged with 40%, countering with an Air Force blast that shattered a wall.
Buildings collapsed around them as the two clashed through the air.
Bakugo spun midair—
"Howitzer… IMPACT!"
Izuku braced—
"45%—Full Cowl!"
He punched the blast point dead center, redirecting the explosion upward and hurling both of them back.
Bakugo landed first, panting, sweating, grinning.
"YOU'RE DAMN STRONG, STRONGER THAN WHEN YOU JUST UNLOCKED YOUR QUIRK BUT DEKU—I'M NOT SLACKING OFF EITHER"
He fired an explosion at the ground, launching himself above Izuku in a perfect aerial angle.
Izuku jumped to counter—
But his foot slipped off the edge of a collapsing building.
He fell.
Nonono—!
But suddenly he's floating..
Nana's voice echoed.
"You've finally awakened my quirk..Stop being a pervert and I'll lend you my quirk and teach you how to use !"
"What—?!"
A blue aura flashed around him—
FLOAT.
But the momentum pushed him land on ground without realising he's got out of bounds.
He landed safely outside the arena border.
"…Eh."
BANG!
Bakugo stared down from above.
"THE HELL WAS THAT?! OUR FIGHT WASN'T DONE, DEKU!!COME INSIDE" As he exploded with anger
Present Mic announced it.
"WINNER — KATSUKI BAKUGO!!"
Bakugo was immediately forced into an iron cage due to "excessive violence during celebration."
He screamed from inside it:
"LET ME OUT! I'M NOT DONE WITH DEKU!! I WANT A REMATCH!!"
Izuku sighed.
"Yup… that's Kacchan."
To Select the Third Place the two semi finalists are fighting..
Shoto vs. Momo
A respectful, well-fought match.
Momo landed a few good hits, but Shoto was still too fast and too strong.
Shoto claimed 3rd place.
Final Podium
1st — Katsuki Bakugo (still in the cage)
2nd — Izuku Midoriya
3rd — Shoto Todoroki
In a dark apartment, a TV flickered.
A young man with black hair, pale skin, and familiar hollow eyes stared at the screen.
Shigaraki Rin.
Watching Izuku's battles replay.
"...Izuku Midoriya," he muttered, voice low.
"Who are you, really?"
The screen reflected in his unblinking gaze.
