Chapter 30 - Chapter 30: Crawlers Is Not Vampires!

Woke up hearing the splatter of water. Why am I in a wooden hot tub? The door opened, and a woman in a black goth-looking tank top entered, wearing some boxer shorts and way too much black makeup. Well, she had one of the larger, hanging tits I have seen in a while. She bent down and lifted my left arm, but made an annoyed sound.

"Can you please stand up, mister?" She asked kindly, looking at my stomach.

I stood up, and she put cream on the left side of my stomach where the cut was. I looked down and noticed that there were black stitches on the wound.

"I will put the bandage on now so you will feel some slight pain." I noticed she had a tender voice, like someone who really cared about others, someone who is a little bit careful about expressing herself.

Clenched my fists when she went around, and she ignored Mr John Style down there, even though she was really close to touching it when she swung her arms around to take the other end of the bandage.

I tried focusing on something else when I felt her tying the bandage, as the pain from the injury reminded me that I should not even think about getting into fights right now.

"Your clothes are on the table, Mister. You can get dressed and use the next room to rest with your friends."

"Thank you!" I said, blushing a little bit as it was weird to be naked with an unknown woman whom I do not know, with a black tank top with clearly visible underboob.

If she is a witch, I am wondering why they are not like this in Paladin Woods, dressed in a freaking suit and using a tie like it is an army. It would be a way better alternative with tank tops and underboobs everywhere.

She left the room, and I put on my underwear and shirt, which wasn't really necessary to button since I needed to rest anyway. Grabbed the clothes and went into the other room. The place's design looked the same as Tammy's shop, which I found a little odd. Tinker and Mejni were sleeping on the bed, and I tried to be quiet. I grabbed Mejni with a little bit of care to not wake him and lay down beside Tinker, who was taking deep breasts...breaths. I can't understand how calm Tinker could be in a situation like this. Mejni rested on my chest, and I will definitely kill him if he bites me in his sleep.

Woke up, grabbed Mejni, and put him closer to Tinker, who was snoring, which was such a turn-off. I went out into the hallway, noticing that all the doors were closed. Walked down the stairs and tried to be as quiet as possible, but the wooden stairs made a lot of cracking noise, so I hurried down. While downstairs, leading only to the shop. Walked around a little bit to check the stuff out and noticed there was also a broomstick in the shop. There are a couple of hats and a couple of weird potions on the shelves. A couple of sticks on the desk, wow, is it something like for wizards?

I moved to the big window and noticed someone staring at me from the outside. Took a closer look, and it was a young man around my age. The difference was his pale skin, and his suit was like... not from this century. I went to the door and opened it to check on him when he swung his arm towards me as I managed to back into the store again. His nails were much longer now, the whole eyesocket black, and he gave me a big smile as I could see the two longer teeth.

"Are you a vampire?" I asked it, but there was no response.

It tried to walk into the store but stopped at the line, as if it could not enter.

"Eh, can you only enter if I invite you?"

"That is enough!" I heard the goth woman's voice behind me as the door shut by itself, hitting the nose of the vampire as it fell to the ground.

It quickly rose and moved towards the door, but stopped itself like it could not do anything from the specific spot outside the shop.

Turned around and saw the underboop, goth woman standing there staring at me.

"Why are you trying to speak with a Crawler?"

I glanced and tried to figure something out.

"I just woke up. Why do you call it a Crawler? That is a Vampire."

"Did that look like a weak Vampire?"

Well, yes, it definitely did, but this will go down the weird discussion path.

"If you give it Holy water or garlic, it can kill it. If you have some, we can try it on the guy outside. They cannot take sunshine either, so if you have a good weapon like that. We can kill it." I tried bragging about my knowledge of Vampires.

"What is Holy water? Garlic will not work, as some calling themselves 'priest hunter' came here with it, and now he is dead. Sunshine won't help either, as they are inside the flesh of the Valiantian; the black eyes you see define them, and they love to drink blood from all creatures, so the thing you call a Vampire must be some other evil that you can not find here."

"W-Wait a minute! So they are not immortal?"

"No, you can kill them, but inside is still a civilian, you will be killing a civilian of Valiant."

I remember meeting Grawlers, but not Crawlers; that guy was a Vampire.

"You seem to be a little bit on the slow side to understand that this is not Paladin Woods. Hell is on the other side of the Fallen Kingdoms. There, they conduct experiments on souls and kidnap civilians of Valiant, and they also use creatures from all over Valiant to create the perfect soldier. When a depraved soul enters the body, and some spells, it creates something evil. What you are looking at is one of several experiments from Hell."

"What you mean is that it is normal citizens? Great, how do we unspell the depraved soul that is inside the citizens?"

She closed her eyes, as if I was waiting for some dramatic moment. She pointed to the left of the shop and said:

"You need to find their Master, who is in the Castle at the top of the hill. Anybody who has tried has never reached the Castle. It would not make any sense to try to reach the Castle, as there is zero chance of achieving it. They will smell you and hunt you down. Most of those who attempted disappeared in the woods, going uphill. There is no protection there, and Crawlers can climb around the trees with their big nails. There is a possibility that the strongest Crawlers will be around the Castle, and they will be different from the others."

"Why would they be different? Aren't they all the same?"

"No! Most Crawlers may have the same powers, but if a Mage, Wizard, Witch, or any other strong civilian is experimented on, they inherit their power and are as strong. Not long ago, it was just a couple of civilians disappearing from the town, then suddenly, more and more disappeared. Now, there are a lot of civilians who have turned into Crawlers and hunt down the town's civilians. The only way to save this town is to end the life of their Master."

Wait a minute! Weren't they created in Hell?

"Need to ask about a slight detail. Did all these arrive here directly from Hell? How did they manage to kidnap Mages or Wizards?"

"No, there is the Master; they send in a Master who bites and creates them with the help of anybody. That is their ruler; that is why you only need to have one Master that goes around in town and bites civilians. The Master is the only one who can transfer a soul to anybody, but also if it dies, all souls will get free from the bodies and let the civilian's own soul take back their body."

All we have to do is kill the Master to save the town. Doesn't sound that hard to do.

"If we kill the Master, it is a done deal. If we all move, then maybe one of us will reach the Castle and make sure to kill the shit out of it. Everything will turn back, right?"

"Yes, but it is as I explained, hard to reach the Castle. When the train entered the station, something came down over the town from the sky. I do not know what it was, but if it is more evil than you do not know what will wait for you on the way to the woods. Getting attacked from two directions can result in death. Friend or Foe, there is no communication about what it was, but if it fell on the town because you and your comrades entered, then it may be here to stop you."

I didn't think about all the extra problems. Damn it!

"By the way, how come the one outside can not enter?" I asked her.

"I have a spell in front of the shop; they need to know the spell to break it down. That is why they only walk around and can not attack the shop."

I am already tired of everything, and the problems keep getting bigger and bigger. I raised my arms and yawned as there was too much information to handle for today.

"I am going to sleep on this. Let's discuss this tomorrow." I walked past her and went up the stairs to try to sleep a little bit, as I need to figure out what to do about all this.
