Rhea Lyrelle Solem POV:
I knew that something would happen when Jamie came home.
After all, it was a full moon and a series of portal days at once.
My son didn't seem to have noticed, but I had.
That's why I knew something would happen to him.
That evening it became clear that his presence had changed.
He was almost like a different person.
His energy was usually calm, but now it seemed to be boiling.
I thought long and hard and worried about my son.
After all, he was my child, my firstborn and my only son.
I had been raising him and his sisters, my daughters, on my own for a long time.
Their fathers were mostly selfish idiots, and that's putting it politely.
But even that hadn't stopped my children from thriving wonderfully.
They were all wonderful, talented, and they still are.
I am incredibly proud of my children.
Eventually, Jamie came home.
He was very excited, which made me laugh.
After all, this behavior was unusual for my quiet, observant, and intelligent son.
Seeing this side of him again after so long made me very happy.
He told me about a prophecy he had heard from a shaman.
This prophecy had some similarities with others, such as that of Alois Irlmaier, who predicted a war between all the nations of the world.
A great war, which would be the third in human history.
Although he died 50 years ago, his prophecy is increasingly proving to be true.
That is why we had prepared for a time of war in terms of supplies and the like.
After some time, my son and I were deep in thought, and Jamie began to whisper a few words.
I was slightly concerned and suggested that perhaps he should go to sleep.
So he went to sleep.
I also went to bed.
The next morning, I was awakened by an oppressive energy in my intuition. I lay down again, but I couldn't sleep.
I was almost certain that this energy shift had something to do with Jamie. My intuition calmed down at the thought, and I was now sure.
I also thought it was good that my daughters weren't home at the moment. After all, I was sure they would have noticed his change too.
His energies were actually noticeable in this room. Which is why I was slightly concerned about what had happened.
I got up and freshened up in the bathroom. Then I went back to the living room and lay down comfortably on the sofa again.
When Jamie entered the room, I was slightly shocked by my son's appearance...at least his eyes.
His eyes were no longer his father's green, with the fire of my copper-colored eyes.
Now they had a fire of their own.
His eyes radiated the same energy that his body radiated.
His eyes had a slightly oval pupil, which made his eyes appear cat-like.
He only seemed to notice my shocked, admiring expression after he had said good morning to me.
I didn't answer right away.
After a while, I also said good morning to him, while noticing his gaze.
This gaze felt as if Jamie was looking into my soul or essence.
After a while, I finally spoke with concern:
"Jamie... how are you?"
Jamie Caelus Solem POV:
As I entered the room, I noticed how energies, or aether, as I call it, were dancing here too.
Here, I could see and study the pulsating pink energy particles in particular. But there was no time for that.
I greeted my mother with a "Good morning."
My gaze wandered from the dancing energies to her face, which now, as I could understand, showed a lot of concern, admiration, and shock.
In addition, I now saw a soul in a body for the first time, apart from myself. I noticed that her "aura," or energy, was bright pink.
This color contrasted with violet and was, in a sense, the color of love. Or, to put it more simply, energy in its most natural and purest form.
Pure energy, fascinating...
So fascinating that I forgot I was staring at my mother.
She spoke with concern and brought me to the realization I just mentioned.
"Jamie, how are you?"
My gaze now focused on her face.
I was amazed because my mother looked even younger than before.
What I saw was not my 43-year-old mother, who looked about 10 years younger. What I saw was the face of a person of youthful age.
The face had her normal features.
She had her mixture of slanted and round eyes, which were shaped like horizontal almonds.
These eyes had an even stronger fire in them than in the sunlight, which made them glow copper.
She also still had her black-dyed straight hair, which, if it weren't dyed, would probably be gray.
She also had her lips, which always seemed to be smiling slightly.
And she still had her nose, with the slight, inconspicuous bump that ran in our family.
The wrinkles, which she rarely had anyway, were not present. Her face was in an almost perfectly still form.
This made her appear very young, but also somehow 'divine', if you can put it that way.
Now I answered her question in a gentle voice.
"I feel better than usual. I feel clearer, as if something had finally awakened in me."
What I said was true. Since I had woken up, I had become more active, calmer, and somehow more alert than I had ever been.
I continued, even though my mother still had a worried look on her face. It almost made me sad.
"Did you know how beautiful you are spiritually?" I said with a childishly cheerful grin.
