I thought to myself, do I reach out to my dreams, or do I reach out to my only friend.
All of a sudden, I felt a huge pressure on my shoulders. I slowly look at both of them before asking,"Is it really urgent?" She answered,"Yes! It's really urgent."
I made up my mind, I was going to go with Nadia. So, I try to convince the other person,that I would talk to him later. "Um, I will meet you after thi-", as I was about to conclude my sentence, he said,"Alright then, why don't you go there first. I will be waiting, just don't take too long~."
Well, all that overthinking wasn't really worth it. I gave a sigh of relief, then I stood up and started following Nadia. She hadn't told me where we were going. So I asked her,"Where did the teacher call us exactly?" She answered,"He told us to gather at the council's room." Once she said that, I realized we were going the wrong way. So I corrected her,"Uhh, the council's room is to the other way."
"Oh-, well I am new here.", she replied. Once we reached the council room, I slowly knocked at the door. "Come in! ", the teacher replied. And after that, he started telling us about how the compilation was about to be conducted. He explained that there would be a time limit, and we had to finish our performance before the time limit ran out. After all that was done, I walk out of the room and sighed,"Why is this soo complicated?"
"I know right, this is nothing like my school.",Nadia replied. Then I remembered, I had to talk with the other guy aswell. "Uh, Nadia. I just remembered something urgent, be right back!", I rushed to the club room. I bust the door open, and I saw that he was still waiting. "So, what did you want to talk about?", I asked him. "I wanted to talk about something very important, but before that....do you know my name?", he asked. I looked at him with pure silence, and slowly move my head gesturing a 'no'.
He looked at me with disbelief. "How? Just ho-, oh wait. I never told you my name either huh. Or did I?", he asked me. I replied,"Never.". He sighed. "Well, I guess that was my fault. My name is Joseph White.", he introduced himself. I introduced myself as well,"I am Robert."
"Alright, let's get to the important part.", Joseph said while holding a piece of paper. After hearing the rules of the other competition, understanding this was a lot more challenging. After all of that was over, I exit the room exhausted. "It's finally over.", I sighed. After that, I headed back to class. But as I was heading over to my class, I look inside an empty room.
And from there, I saw...someone was on their knees. "A proposal huh, I wish you luck.", I whispered. But as I was walking, I see something outrageous. Turns out, the person was proposing to Nadia. I instantly froze, I couldn't comprehend what I was looking at, I was attacked by a lot of mixed emotions. Which made me stare at them awkwardly.
All of a sudden, the place felt hotter. I was constantly sweating, as I waited for Nadia's answer. I couldn't hear them, but I could tell what they were saying by reading their lips. Suddenly, Nadia didn't answer...she ran outside the room. As she was about to open the door, I quickly hid behind a pillar. She must've been carried away by what just happened, but she ran to the class without noticing me.
After that I slowly peek around to see what the other person was doing. But suddenly, he had appeared Infront of me. "You, how long have you been here?", he said before I could even prosses the situation. "Not too long ago.",I answered. "Did you see what happened here?", he questioned me while staring into my soul. I answered nervously,"Unfortunately Y-Yes. I witnessed everything."
He clinched his fist. And suddenly he grabbed my shirt. I responded completely with instincts, and grabbed his wrist tightly. "Listen up, I am having a bad day today. So it will be better if you stay away.", I warned him.
He stared at me for a while before leaving. But suddenly my mood changed, when I saw my shirt crumbled. All the intellectual things for about an hour, and now this...I was filled with rage.
I somehow managed to controlled myself, and went back to my class. But as I was about to open the door, the bell rang. I sighed. I had to get my stuff so I went in anyways. As I was doing that, Nadia asked me,"You must be tired." I looked at her with a face describing pure exhaustion and said,"I indeed am, never knew hearing things would be this exhausting. I just want to sleep now."
"Then let's get home quick.", she responded. I nodded my head. Then, we both started heading home. I kept on whining about being tired the whole way. I wouldn't be surprised if Nadia was annoyed by me. Once I finally reached home, I gave a quick farewell to Nadia, and jumped face first onto my bed. And before I knew it, I had fallen asleep.
After a while, I feel as if someone was hitting my head. I slowly open my eyes, and see Nadia smacking my head. I was shocked on why she was in my room, so I asked her,"What are you doing in my room?"
She replied,"Well your door was wide open, so I came in to check. And also, did you forget about practice?"
Those words flew on top of my head."This is annoying .", I thought to myself. I looked at her with the most dull expression ever, and then.....I covered myself with a blanket and went back to sleep. "Just let me sleep..."
