Leila looked at the island chain below. She spotted a crashed plane, a familiar plane!
'That idiot! Why did he land before the runway was ready!?'
She accelerated Andraste and flew over. Now that she looked closer, the plane looked fine, only that the dirt was dug out.
A relieved sigh escaped from her mouth as she began to look for Marcus.
She didn't need to look far, and soon enough, she found him relaxing at the beach, a campfire burning not far from his relaxing area.
'He is… sunbathing?'
The girl realised soon that he was not the only one, as next to him was Kallen, who was dressed in a makeshift bikini.
Seeing such a sight made Leila realise that she was… indeed jealous.
'Wasting my time trying to recruit Anna was stupid on my part.'
She realised that she had given up territory to Kallen!
Regardless, her machine flew over and landed not far from the camp. Moments later, Andraste lowered Leila, who walked over.
Marcus opened his eyes and looked at his blonde girl.
"You are late." He commented before pointing his thumb to the side.
"If you want, you can get some roasted shark. It's not bad, for the next camping trip I will add some spices." The inventor prince explained in a lazy tone.
"It's not bad. Never had shark before, but I approve." Kallen added from her side as she was lying on her stomach.
"...I pass for now, and I apologise for my late arrival. I was in Europe, trying to persuade my friend to join."
When Marcus hears her tone, he can tell she is sad and angry.
So he got up and looked closer at her. His right hand went to his chin, and he made her look at him.
"Tell me why you are sad." He asked, his tone super serious.
"I-It's fine…" She tried to look to the side, but he made her look directly at him.
"You WILL tell me what's wrong." He repeated, with a bit of force now behind his tone.
"..."
By this point, Kallen realised that something was odd.
"...Fine… My friend denied my request to join us… I know that we will declare war on Europia United at some point.
It will make us enemies, I don't want her expertise used against us… to give people false hope that they could possibly be able to fight against us." Leila explained that as she teared up midway.
"..." Kallen had a small, surprised look, while Marcus stared directly into her eyes as if gazing into her soul.
"...You know that I WON'T let the whole thing end like this, Leila." He released her before looking away and looking at the endless Pacific Ocean.
"...I… think we should forget about this. I should return to my work." The blonde had this sinking feeling that something was about to happen.
"No. We shall invade Europia United." He declined as she got serious.
"!!!"
"W-Wait for a moment!" Kallen scrambled to her feet.
"No. I shall crush everyone in my path and show your friend that what she did was stupid." He replied to Leila while dropping his gaze on Kallen for a second.
"...B-But…"
"No one makes my Leila like that. Especially some peanut country that stands between your friend and you."
'He completely ignored the fact that it was he who kidnapped Leila in the first place.' Kallen internally deadpanned before shelving this comment entirely.
"...Marcus… It's fine… I mean…" Leila tried to reason. But, she realised that it was a losing battle.
Marcus waved his hand to motion her to stop.
"You already showed me how you were feeling." He sharply told her to stop.
"And now I shall fix where you failed." With that said, he looked at Andraste.
"Andraste! Fly to the range of my base and tell the main Legion to send Tiranis to me."
[As you command.]
The mech stood up and her wings spread out before taking off and flying towards Japan at absurd speed.
"...You…" Kallen finally saw how far he would go…it was crazy! Even Leila looked at him with surprise. Part of her always thought that the taboo accident was a one-time thing where he lost control or something.
But it was not…
With that said, Marcus began to walk towards the plane. He needs a shower and a change into his pilot suit.
"Hold it- Hold It! You can't just fly there and start blowing up things!" Kallen rushed over and grabbed him.
The Inventor Prince stopped and looked at her.
"Why not? Leila's friend's rejection pushed the plan forward.
One way or another, I need to subdue all of the nations around the world. Only that this time it's not just subjugation, but I will show Leila's friend that her not joining us was the wrong choice.
Not choosing the best friend over a bunch of unknown people who won't even understand what is going on was the wrong choice."
He explained to them in more detail.
When Kallen heard that, she was speechless for a while. By that point, he got out of the hold and walked towards the plane.
"...It's useless… once he makes up his mind, there is very little we can do to change his opinion." Leila sighed. She had messed up!
'I should keep my emotions in check… now it's my fault that E.U. will fall…'
'Or…'
Leila swiftly went after Marcus, and Kallen followed; she wanted to hear what the blonde would say.
"Marcus, you can just go to Weisswolf Castle and talk with Anna there! There is no need to destroy the entire country!" Leia suggested, making Marcus stop for a second.
"I suppose it's a bit too much with one machine at the moment." He did find this alternative to be better at the moment.
"Fine. I will do it your way."
The pair sighed in relief; they needed to accept the idea that he could do this in the future if he wanted to.
With that said, he got into the plane and went to the changing rooms. With the angle the plane was at, it was a bit difficult to get into the locker room, but he did.
Sadly shower in this kind of situation will be impossible.
Thankfully…
There is an entire Ocean outside!
So, after grabbing the uniform, he left the plane and went to shower in the Pacific Ocean.
After a short amount of time, Andraste returned and landed on the beach, less than two minutes later, with a sonic boom. A dark purple plane with bits of black appeared above the island, the plane mid-flight, transformed into its humanoid form and landed on the beach.
'I don't remember adding aura farming in the programming.' His gaze was on the mech.
Marcus smiled for a bit as he dried himself before putting on his pilot uniform.
"...I should come with you," Leila spoke to him after thinking for a good five minutes.
"So that you could fold in front of your friend."
"...'fold'?"
"Give up in front of a teary face. Leave kidnapping to me." He rolled his eyes at her.
"You seriously admitted that?" Kallen gawked. The guy admitted that he was doing that!
"Duh, I am going to conquer the world, and the whole galaxy, even most likely wage huge intergalactic wars in future…
And you seriously are surprised that I admitted the obvious?
I am pretty sure what I am doing was normal less than 500 years ago." He rolled his eyes again, this time at Kallen.
"...Ugh…"
"Leave your silly morals in the cupboard with your Glasgow, you are going to pilot something that makes the rest of society wonder if gods are real."
"...Ugh…"
The girl grimaced for another time.
"Fine, whatever, do your thing." She raised her hands in defeat. It's not her place to question this crazy prince. If he wants to play a villain who steals girls, then it's his choice.
"I will. In the meantime, get the plane out of the dirt and bring it back to the workshop. Legion should have prepared a decent amount of resources for the initial base construction." He instructed the girls, who reluctantly nodded.
They would prefer to go with him.
After giving his instructions, he went to Tiranis, his mobile suit picked him up and assisted him in getting into the cockpit.
"Agh… Aircon is the greatest invention of humanity to date." Marcus closed his eyes and enjoyed the cooler air.
A few moments later, he opened his eyes, and the map opened before him.
"Set course for the Weisswolf castle. I need to speak with Anna Clement."
[Understood.]
The mech jumped before transforming into a plane and blasting upwards to space.
The trip to leave the planet was quick, and before long, the plane began to descend from the Mediterranean and towards France.
'Not even half an hour, I do love the Ion propulsion system. Sadly, it's not good enough for galactic colonisation.'
The trip to the moon made him realise that the current technology he possesses will allow him to colonise their native solar system, but not solar systems beyond.
He needs warp drive or something of that level. Simply because his Ion Technology doesn't reach the speed of light.
And that means he is slow…compared to Cosmos, advancing to gravity technology is the next step in all of this.
As he was thinking about spinning sun models, he noticed the castle before him.
A small smirk appeared. Time to show them what happens when they make his girls sad!
~~~
"Umm… Sir! It's back!!!"
Alarms blared through the castle as the cameras noticed a blurry machine approaching.
"Is it the boss' friend?" One of the younger girls asked, as she looked at the screens.
"...No… from what I can make out, it's a bulkier and has different wings.
"...T-That's the machine from the Taboo Incident!"
The whole group paled as they tried to send a message for help, but the machine opened fire and fried all of the comms!
Then the computers started to freeze as all of the monitors changed into laughing skulls.
"...All your…base are belong to us???" The people who read this were confused… Is this on purpose? Why such wording?! This makes no sense!
"I think the pilot of that thing is making fun of us!" One of the higher-up women looked pissed. She was one of Anna's helpers and part of the program Wzero. In truth, she was here for the Brain Raid System, the new Alexander will have…
A PhD in psychology and studies in personalities and the brain in general is telling her that this pilot likes to mess with people.
"...Yeah… I can gather that much, a fat researcher replied."
Before long, the entire place began to shake as their command centre was built deep in the castle, but there is a long underground section that leads to this centre, as it was built with testing machines in mind.
But such a design can be used against them…
Simply by having schematics, the alien lime machine easily blasted through steel doors and flew in and found their centre of operations.
It only took a few moments as doors to the command centre began to melt as the machine's glowing eyes looked inside the centre.
The younger girl squealed from fear, the fat man dropped from his seat, and the only decently disciplined people were looking at the mech ripping through thick steel doors like it was wet paper.
"...Where is Anna Clement? I have a few words with her." The machine's synthetic voice said as it fully ripped off the tall and thick steel doors and threw them tens of meters away towards the tunnel that leads to the exit.
"...She is… busy?"
"Is that so?" A beam rifle pointed at them.
"Then make her not busy, because I am in a bad mood."
"...Hilda…go find, Anna."
"...R-R-Right…" one of the girls scrambled as she rushed to the stairs that led upstairs.
"..."
"…"
"..."
"...Are you going to keep pointing it at us?" The woman asked the machine.
"Why not? I should test some of the modifications I've been installing recently."
The mech looked at the rifle, as it began doing something to it, as the barrel began to expand.
"Can't you not provoke it?!" The only guy in a military uniform hissed at her.
"Don't worry, she is far from provoking me. This is more like volunteering in my eyes."
