"Do you think you will be able to finish what you have in mind before the attack?" Lacus asked Marcus who was programming his new machine.
The new package has arrived with three blades. Well, he will be using only one blade; the other two are spares.
The package is a Strike package, as Testament has the same back system as Strike; ZAFT easily replicated it after seeing it in action.
And it's good for Marcus as he was able to make a Voiture Lumiere package with Mirage colloid emitters, remaking Destiny's Wings of Light almost three years early.
All of that was easy; however, there is something else taking up all of Marcus's time.
And that is the new system he is developing for the antenna and the Quantum computer on the mobile suit.
He is mixing Mirage Colloid particles, which can manipulate light, and Voiture Lumiere, which can use light for propulsion and a Quantum Computer that will be able to manipulate all of that.
The disguised Emperor decided to call it the Testament System.
"The Gundam is ready. I've been working on something bigger; the machine has a quantum computer. Imagine that."
When Lacus heard that, her eyes widened.
"You mean to say these barbarians have a mobile version of a Quantum Computer?" The pinkette slightly hissed; she couldn't believe what she was hearing.
"Well, we are in the 23rd century." Marcus eye rolled. He couldn't believe she was looking down more than he ever was. Then again, women are harder to forgive for the slightest of things. He knows that in detail.
"Which century doesn't mean a damn thing, in this situation. These people nuked themselves with Neutron Jammers and all that stuff.
With no petrochemicals to assist in chip production, they still haven't produced an decent AI model.
And you tell me they have Quantum Computers?" She walked over and looked over his shoulder.
"Hmm, I see. So, they use isolation models to make quantum calculations, which makes sense. I expected a more advanced model for a Quantum Computer, but they are using basic vacuum for this."
"More than enough to utilise my Quantum Brainwaves." He hinted at something.
"...You are planning to make this machine into an Innovator-use model?" One eyebrow perked up; she immediately went to see what kind of spectacle her husband was planning for these primitive humans.
"...Oh…oh…"
She read through the specs and what it can do.
"If you properly utilise these technologies and get a decent power source, this mech could challenge your Tiranis.
I am genuinely impressed that these people can produce something like this." The pinkette crossed her arms, begrudgedly praising humans of this reality.
"That's only possible because of the Quantum Computer and my Brainwaves guidance. Otherwise, it will be just a fancy propulsion system.
Of course, the strong antenna on the Gundam helps." Marcus looked at the Testament Gundam parked next to the GAT series.
"That is given, unlike Coordinators, Innovators possess true unlimited potential with no drawbacks."
"Indeed, my darling, and I will be there on the frontlines to remind THAT bastard what happens when he involves my kids in the conflict." Marcus's eyes glowed for a second as he showed his true nature just for a second.
The Emperor learned from his wife to control his innovator powers and hide his eyes without eye contact.
"Fufufu, papa bear protecting his cubs, that's just cute!" The woman slipped onto his lap and began to cuddle. They were in the hangar of Archangel with a decent number of people, but his wife didn't care.
"What do you say? Giving me a helping hand?" He hugged her for a second while whispering.
"Hmm… that is if we merge our minds~ otherwise it's boring~." She winked at him.
When Marcus heard that, he rolled his eyes. What she proposed is basically the same thing, if not a more advanced version of sex.
"Sure~ if you want."
"Then I will bring my laptop~" She swiftly left his lap and rushed over to the lift.
'With my darling's help, I should finish the system. Once complete, I will gather data and then apply the improvements.
Of course, that's only the beginning. Turns out I don't need advanced technology, simple innovation of already existing technology is good enough.'
What Marcus is hinting at is Voiture Lumiere and even Mirage Colloid; both technologies will improve his Empire.
Voiture Lumiere can improve the thrust of GN particles; such technology can boost a warship's cruising speed.
Mirage Colloid can help focus light particles through the lenses.
As he was thinking, Lacus returned with her laptop. She swiftly got close to him, leaning against his back as she connected to his account and caught up to what he was doing.
"Shall we begin? It has been a while since I did anything like that~"
"Sure."
With that said, the part activated their Quantum Brainwaves and merged their consciousness as they continued coding the software.

After a considerable loss in Earth's Orbit, ZAFT changed their approach a bit. They began with a buildup for Operation Spitbreak.
However, the loss made them rework their plan. It became a two-stage assault.
First, they will destroy the navy in orbit. Then they will immediately assault Alaska.
Though only a few of Patrick Zala's people know they will attack the OMNI Enforcer's Capital.
One of them was Rau Le Creuset. Now the masked man is a nihilist; he only wants the destruction of Humanity and nothing else, so he immediately sold out ZAFT to the Earth Alliance. He even gave them the schematics of the Neutron Jammer Canceller.
Sadly, they had already acquired such technology via Testament Gundam.
Rau Le Creuset expected an immediate nuclear attack from Earth Alliance, but Marcus doesn't want PLANTs destroyed; in his eyes, that is utterly stupid. PLANTs are perfect for space industries.
He won't just shoot nukes at them; that is just stupid.
So the masked man's plans to escalate the war into a total and complete destruction of humanity are experiencing road bumps.
But still, it's not all done: Patrick Zala is on track to finish GENESIS and slaughter Naturals, but he also wants PLANTs gone.
So masked blonde man's plan snifted a bit. He decided to kill one of his children simply, now that should boost Marcus hatred towards PLANTs.
He knows the man is quite merciless toward those who have offended him. Blue Cosmos learned it the hard way.
And so Rau Le Creuset decided to look for an opportunity to get rid of one of them. After all, one of them is supposed to be the 'Ultimate Coordinator'. In the masked man's eyes, such a thing is the apex of one's narcissism.

Over 20 ZAFT warships were moving towards Earth's Northern Hemisphere to engage the 8th Fleet.
But there was no fleet to speak of; instead, there were over 34 Earth Alliance warships that were approaching ZAFT's navy from a side.
Such an approach caused the PLANTs army to reposition for interception.
Leading the front was the 'Legged Ship', the Archangel.
"Before we engage, we shall give them gentlemen's grace and offer them to surrender, request to recede Africa and Gibraltar to us.
They can keep Australia." Marcus, who was putting on his pilot gloves, said to the Admiral and a bunch of captains who were part of this battle.
"...Won't that just trigger them more?" Captain Ramius frowned as she replied to him.
"Precisely, angry people don't think straight." The disguised Emperor replied. "At the same time we are doing the right thing, we are trying to save human lives. By offering them to surrender." He slightly smirked as he loves one move, several effects.
'Tell that to all the dead people in Junius Seven…' Captain Ramius thought to herself. Blowing up an agricultural colony for no reason. OMNI Enforcer did it at the orders of Clue Cosmos.
But that was in the past, and honestly, she is feeling far better about following Marcus Anaheim.
"Understood, sending message."
"Do prepare for irrational reactions from them, like missiles swarm," Marcus commented as he looked at his Testament Gundam systems.

'Let's see what happens when Innovator plays with Coordinator toys.'
Marcus grinned for a second as he leaned into the seat and closed his eyes for a second before activating his Quantum Brainwaves and tapping into the mobile suit.
"Let's do this, Testament, let's show them how we fight'
At that moment, Testament Gundam's green eyes began to glow as Archangel's robotic hands picked it up and placed it on the catapult deck.
They were getting ready for launch.

In a huge command space station housing hundreds of officers, it serves as the control centre for Operation Spitbreak. The Supreme Council Chairman was overseeing the entire operation.
"Umm, sir, the Earth Alliance's fleet has messaged us." The nervous comms officer said to Patrick Zala.
"Are they offering to surrender?" The man smirked, as he was proud of the amount of forces he was able to gather for this operation.
"Yes."
"!?"
"What?"
"They are telling us to surrender, return to Africa, Gibraltar and Victoria's Mass Drive, while we can keep Australia—"
"SHUT UP!!! TELL THEM TO ATTACK! BLOW THEM UP!" Patrick barked loudly. He was shaking with sheer anger.
"But we are too—"
"Use missiles, you dimwit! Blast them apart! That's our answer!!!"
The confused officers swiftly snapped out and began issuing orders to the warships.

Moments later, all of the Nazca Class destroyers and the Laurasia frigates opened fire by launching a bunch of missiles at the Earth Alliance's warships.
"They really got triggered." Murrue Ramius commented with surprise for a second.
"Intercept! Shoot them down!"
Sure enough, anti-missile guns opened fire and began to take them out.
"Once we deal with the missiles, launch Moebius armour and our Gundams. Keep daggers for a bit longer." Marcus issued orders to his forces as he watched the tunnel light up, preparing for the launch.
After AA guns destroyed missiles, the catapult deck opened as the Disguised Emperor looked at the void at the end of the tunnel.
"Sir, you are cleared for launching."
"Roger. Marcus Anaheim, launching in Testament Gundam." The Boss of Earth Alliance pushed the lever forward before pressing the pedal, and the machine blasted through the tunnel before getting launched out from the Archangel.
With a spin, the Variable Phase Shift armour activated as the machine turned black and purple, and the wings ignited as purple particles dispersed, giving a massive boost in speed.
Other Gundams joined him and, of course, squads of mobile armours that were leagues behind.
"Do leave some for me. I can feel it will be a slaughterhouse." Lacus said to him as she landed on top of Archangel's catapult deck and pulled out an extra-long sniper rifle, which was a railgun.
"I will try." Marcus Gundam pulled out its physical katana. It was a unique piece of armament, designed to interact with the particles.
With that said, Testament's eyes glowed as the machine's speed boosted further, as it left afterimages appearing in front of GINN, which wanted to shoot physical bullets at him. Still, the Gundam 'magically' appeared before it and sliced through it like it was tofu.
"One."
The separate pieces blew up before moving forward as ZAFT forces tried to attack him from all sides since he ended up quite close to ZAFT warships.
The battle had just started, but he basically bypassed the frontlines with the sheer speed of the machine.
"Two."
"Three."
"Four."
Before he could slice him, a red machine intercepted him with a beam saber.
'Hmm? Aegis?' Marcus frowned as he saw a familiar mobile suit.
'The colour is slightly duller. Another Aegis?'
"Enough with your rampage!" The Gundam tried to cut through the sword with its beam saber.
"What the—"
Testament's wings once more began to emit particles as its eyes glowed and raw power spiked, overpowering the red machine without any effort.
Marcus then makes the Aegis machine pull back, then he delivers a powerful kick and rushes over to slice it up.
But before he could get close, he sensed an incoming beam.
So he dodged and looked to the side. It was another Buster.
'What the… they made more of them…'
