Evelin's POV
The morning after, I stepped out of Jimmy's guest room and nearly collided with Uncle Gregory in the hallway.
"Sleeping over at the Hamilton boy's place again?" Gregory's expression screamed disappointment.
I let out a hollow laugh. "Uncle, Jimmy's been having insomnia ever since our breakup. I can't just abandon him to struggle alone."
"You! That boy puts on his wounded act every time, and you buy it hook, line, and sinker. Mark my words—he'll have you wrapped around his finger soon enough," Gregory muttered.
"You're overthinking this, Uncle," I said, flashing him a teasing smile.
Gregory exhaled heavily. "Have you thought about what happens if you two keep sleeping in the same bed and things get... complicated before the wedding?"
"Then we'll get married and have the baby. We're planning to tie the knot anyway," I replied matter-of-factly.
