━━━━ Chapter 3: The Mission and the Strange Fruit ━━━━

Scene 1 — The Forest, Morning of Another World

The camera rises above the cave entrance, sunlight sliding over the rocky surface. It slowly descends, revealing Kiora as he pushes himself up from the ground. He brushes the dust off his clothes, takes a deep breath, and begins to walk forward.

One step…

Then another…

The shadows stretch behind him, swallowing his figure as he disappears deeper into the forest.

---

Scene 2 — Deep Inside the Forest

A wide shot reveals an almost dreamlike landscape: taller trees, softer grass, and rays of sunlight weaving patterns through the leaves as if the world reshapes itself every second.

Kiora kneels beside a narrow stream. Its water is crystal clear, reflecting the sky like a chilled mirror. He cups his hands, drinks, then lifts his head. The sun's reflection stares back at him from the water's surface—like an eye watching.

Kiora:

The deeper I go… the better this forest looks.

The camera follows him as he walks.

The wind brushes through his hair.

Insects hum a strange melody.

Birds flutter lightly between branches.

Then…

Everything stops.

The buzzing insects fall silent.

The wind freezes.

Even the leaves seem suspended mid-movement.

It's as if the forest itself has died for a moment.

From within the stillness, a cracked, rough voice forces its way through the air.

Voice (distorted):

Kill… kill…

Kiora steps back, eyes wide.

Kiora:

W-Who's there?

The voice fractures more, as if breaking apart with every word.

Voice:

Kill… the wolf… leader… If you… fail… consequences… If you… succeed… reward… You have… twenty-four… hours…

Then the sound disappears instantly—

as if dragged away by an invisible force.

Suddenly, the forest breathes again.

Birds chirp.

Wings flutter.

Leaves sway.

Everything returns to normal… as though nothing happened.

Kiora stands frozen, trying to understand what he just heard.

Kiora (nervous laugh):

If this is someone trying to scare me… they're doing too good of a job.

He glances behind him quickly—

clearly not convinced by his own words.

Then he keeps moving.

---

Scene 3 — Evening

The forest sinks slowly into the orange of the setting sun.

Tree trunks reflect golden streaks of light.

Kiora:

It'll be night soon… I have to get back.

He runs.

During his sprint, something catches his eye:

a short tree with curved branches and unusual fruit hanging from it.

Fruit shaped like a mango… but larger.

Its skin bright orange marked with dark, twisting lines.

Kiora approaches carefully.

Kiora:

What is this?

I should take some… they might be useful.

He uses a stick to pull them down, collects a few, and continues running.

---

Scene 4 — Near the Cave, Night

Rain pours down.

Lightning flashes across the sky.

Each strike makes the trees glow faintly, as if they hold some hidden energy.

The camera follows Kiora into the cave.

He places the strange fruits on the ground, gathers large leaves, spreads them out, and sits.

He studies the fruit silently.

Kiora:

It might be poisonous… it looks strange.

But… a single bite won't kill me… right?

His hand trembles as he brings it to his mouth.

A bite.

His eyes widen—

a genuine smile appears for the first time since arriving in this world.

Kiora:

Delicious… way better than the rabbit.

He eats the whole fruit without hesitation.

Then he pulls a large leaf over himself and lies down.

His eyes drift toward the dark ceiling of the cave.

Kiora (sleepy):

What was… that voice?

Never mind… at least I'm starting to adapt here.

His eyes slowly close.

The camera moves closer…

until the screen fades to black.

Scene 5 — The Organization's Headquarters, Morning

Aerial view: a massive building, entirely black, without a single window.

The camera phases through the outer walls as if it were a ghost.

Inside, a dark room.

A black table engraved with the symbol of an eye shedding a drop of blood.

Six figures sit around it.

The air is heavy, pressing down on the room.

Leader (calm, powerful):

Do you feel it?

Commander 1:

Yes… a great power has awakened.

Commander 2 (cold):

Impossible. No one possesses a power equal to ours.

The leader rests his hand on the eye symbol.

Leader:

There is someone…

And he is the key to the Gate of Darkness.

Commander 3 (smirking):

Give me the order.

I'll bring back his head.

Commander 4:

Are you insane?

The leader said he's the key!

Leader:

We will send him…

He'll deceive the boy…

And bring him to us.

Commander 5:

Why not go ourselves and finish this?

The leader turns toward him slowly… then smiles.

Leader:

If we go… we lose too much.

He raises his voice:

Leader:

Guards.

The door opens.

A fully armored guard enters, tapping his spear on the ground before bowing.

Guard:

Your orders, sir?

Music rises.

The leader laughs—a cold laugh, as if he already knows the ending.

Leader:

Hehehehe…

The scene cuts before his final word is spoken.
