Chapter 8 - chapter 8

Realm of Destruction — Present Time

It had been a few days since Kai defeated Beerus, and because of that victory, he was granted permission to remain in the Realm of Destruction for as long as he wished.

Whis was delighted. Beerus's loss had reignited the Destroyer's fighting spirit, something Whis hadn't seen in ages. After all, it had been several eons since Beerus last trained seriously, or even felt motivated to grow stronger. How could a teacher not be happy when his student was finally fired up again?

Kai, of course, became Beerus's new sparring partner. Their relationship grew closer during their battles, to the point where even Beerus no longer felt embarrassed calling Kai his friend. With Kai's power (even if not his true power), he was more than qualified to stand beside the angels themselves let along a little God of God of Destruction who can't even hold a candle compared to them.

On the empty white training platform floating above the endless void, the air cracked as Beerus and Kai clashed. Shockwaves rolled outward, distorting space like ripples in a pond. Whis floated nearby, staff in hand, humming cheerfully.

"Excellent! Much better form this time, Lord Beerus," Whis commented while effortlessly dodging a stray shockwave. "And Kai, your movement is becoming more fluid. You are adapting to Destruction-style combat quite well."

Beerus snarled, pushing forward.

"Don't praise him too much, Whis! He's already insufferable as it is!"

Kai smirked. "Says the cat god who got one-shot two days ago."

"That was a warm-up punch!" Beerus snapped.

Before Kai could answer, two familiar energy signatures flared in the distance. A glowing blue streak and a fiery red streak appeared, landing hard on the platform.

Goku, in his gi, waved excitedly.

"Yo! Whis! Lord Beerus! Kai! We're here for training!"

Vegeta unlike Goku was more respectful as bowed then asked for permission."

Whis clapped his hands together. "Perfect timing! Goku, Vegeta—since Lord Beerus is now training seriously again, you two will follow a modified regimen. But be warned… Kai and Lord Beerus are working at a far higher difficulty."

Goku blinked. "Higher than Beerus level?"

He looked at Kai with a grin. "Guess you really pushed him, huh?"

Kai laughed lightly. " what can I say I got my ways ."

Vegeta narrowed his eyes at Kai and Beerus clashing again, watching the space around them bend.

"Tch… Their power is on a completely different tier and now that brat strength is even above lord berrus the god of destruction himself this is outrageous."

Whis gently tapped the ground with his staff. Instantly, the platform expanded into multiple floating arenas.

"Very well," Whis announced. "Beerus and Kai will continue advanced Destruction training with me. Goku and Vegeta—you two will start with fundamental refinement. Try not to fall behind too quickly."

Beerus cracked his knuckles.

"Come on, Kai. Let's show them how far ahead we are I'm having quit the fun time in this training."

Kai's aura flared like a violet star. "Try to keep up, Beerus I will start rising my strength a little from now on ."

The two vanished, colliding again with a force that made Goku whistle.

"Wow… We're really behind now."

Vegeta scowled.

"Then stop talking and start training, Kakarot!"

Whis smiled as he guided Goku and Vegeta to their arena. Meanwhile, Beerus and Kai continued their battle at godly speeds, each strike shaking the Realm of Destruction itself.

For the first time in countless ages…

Beerus was enjoying himself.

And Kai was only getting started.

Here is the corrected, polished, and natural-sounding version of your text. I only fixed grammar, clarity, and flow—your story and tone remain the same.

Realm of Destruction trembled with every strike as Kai and Beerus clashed again. Whis observed proudly while Goku and Vegeta struggled through their own training, trying desperately not to fall even further behind.

Then— BOOM. A shockwave from above rippled across the realm.

Whis blinked. "Oh my… I recognize that ki signature."

A massive purple-and-gold planet-shaped sphere cut through the clouds, stopping just above the platform. The shell peeled open, revealing the portly figure of Champa, God of Destruction of Universe 6, and beside him…

Vados.

Tall, elegant, serene—yet sharper and more radiant than any star in the void.

"HEEEY, WHIS!" Champa yelled, floating down. "I've come to pay my dear brother a visit!"

Whis smiled politely. "Lord Champa. Sister."

Vados bowed with flawless grace. "It has been far too long, Whis."

As her eyes lifted, they passed over Beerus… then Goku… then Vegeta… and then—

They landed on Kai.

And stayed there.

The moment she saw him—his calm posture, the way his aura shimmered like controlled starlight, and the effortless strength in the way he carried himself—something inside her skipped a beat.

An angel's heart normally never "skips." But this one did.

Vados studied him quietly, eyes narrowing with a faint spark of warmth and curiosity.

Intriguing… she thought. Very intriguing…

Kai, blissfully unaware, simply smiled politely at her before returning to listening to Beerus complain about Champa's timing.

Champa puffed out his cheeks as Beerus floated down to meet him.

"What do you want, Champa?" Beerus snapped. "I was in the middle of training!"

"Training? YOU? Don't make me laugh!" Champa slapped his belly, chuckling. "Everyone knows you haven't trained seriously in eons."

Beerus twitched. "Wanna bet?"

Before the argument could escalate, Champa grinned and pulled out… a tray full of food.

"Let's skip to the real reason I came! A FOOD CONTEST!"

Beerus's ears perked up. "Food contest? Aren't we done with those yet?"

Whis sighed. "Here we go again…"

Vados watched Kai instead of the trays.

Kai tilted his head. "This actually looks fun."

Vados's lips curved ever so slightly.

Champa proudly presented exotic Universe 6 dishes, each one steaming, sizzling, or glowing ominously. Beerus didn't even respond—he simply enjoyed the food Champa brought, letting his brother have a sliver of hope for now.

Goku and Vegeta, who were supposed to be training, immediately sat cross-legged to spectate.

"Awesome! Free food!" Goku laughed.

Vegeta elbowed him. "Idiot! This is a gods' contest—stay out of it!"

The peace didn't last long. Soon Beerus and Champa were arguing, shouting, threatening to destroy each other's universes—until finally Champa boasted:

"And for the finale! My ULTIMATE DISH!"

He revealed a giant, extravagant Universe 6 delicacy.

Beerus smirked and handed Whis a tiny container.

Whis opened it.

Cup ramen.

Champa burst into laughter. "What is that? THAT'S your final dish?"

Beerus calmly slurped.

The realm went silent.

Champa took one bite… His pupils dilated. His entire body froze.

"What heavenly taste is this? Where did you get it, Beerus?" Champa asked as he finished the ramen.

Beerus grinned triumphantly. "I guess it's my win again. It's called cup ramen—a delicacy from a planet called Earth in Universe 7."

"Earth? Huh… Vados?" Champa asked, turning to her.

Vados immediately used her staff, checking the Earth of Universe 6. She spoke before returning to her place. "Sorry, Lord Champa. That Earth was destroyed long ago during a series of native wars."

Champa immediately started sulking, staring sadly at the empty cup in front of him.

Meanwhile… Vados after returning to her place

Vados stood quietly behind Champa… her attention completely fixed on Kai.

Every time Kai smiled or reacted to the food contest, her cheeks glowed faintly—barely noticeable, except to those who knew angels well.

Whis floated beside her, glancing sideways, and whispered teasingly:

"My my… Sister, you seem unusually focused on our guest."

Vados straightened instantly. "I am merely analyzing his energy signature."

Whis smirked. "For ten minutes straight?"

Vados flicked her staff lightly. "Silence, Whis."

Kai, still oblivious, leaned against the wall watching everything with a relaxed expression.

Vados watched him gently, her expression softening again without meaning to.

He truly has no idea…

After Beerus's victory in the food contest, Champa sulked on the floating platform, loudly complaining about "cheating cup noodles." Kai laughed quietly .

Meanwhile, Vados drifted away from the group, pretending to examine the scenery. Whis followed her with a knowing smile.

Vados spoke softly, eyes still fixed on Kai from a distance.

"Whis… your new trainee. Kai."

Her voice was smooth, but Whis noticed the unusual hesitation.

"What exactly is he?"

Whis chuckled lightly. "What he is? My, sister, you sound quite invested."

Vados's staff tapped the ground.

"Whis. Answer."

Whis folded his hands behind his back.

"He is powerful—far more than he appears. And yet, he carries himself like a mortal who hasn't realized his own weight in the cosmos."

He leaned closer.

"In other words… someone who catches your eye."

Vados's cheek twitched. "I am simply evaluating potential threats."

"Of course you are," Whis replied, amused.

But inside, Vados felt a flutter she could not explain.

An angel does not fall in love.

An angel does not desire.

And yet…

Her gaze drifted back toward Kai.

Why does he stand out so clearly…?

Beerus stretched. "Alright, Kai. One last warm-up before Champa leaves."

Kai nodded. "Sure. Light or serious?"

"Light," Beerus said. "We don't want to destroy the realm while guests are here."

Vados raised an eyebrow. Destroy the realm? With a warm-up?

She folded her arms, curious.

Beerus flicked a hand.

"Begin."

Kai inhaled, centering himself, and—

FWOOOOOM

His aura exploded upward like a pillar of violet-white flame, spiraling into the sky. The ground trembled. Space warped around him in perfect symmetry, without a single ounce of wasted energy.

Even Whis blinked.

"Oh my. That's more output than usual."

Goku's jaw dropped. "Woah!! Kai wasn't even going full power before?!"

Vegeta clenched his fists. "Impossible… I couldn't sense even 1% of this earlier!"

Champa stumbled backward. "W-What the hell?! B-Beerus! Since when did you train someone like THAT?!"

And Vados—

For the first time in millennia—

Feelings surged through her like a spark of divine warmth.

Her breath caught.

Not because of power—she had seen countless powerhouses.

But because of the way Kai controlled it.

Steady. Calm. No arrogance. No chaos.

Pure, elegant force.

Her heart thumped once.

He's… beautiful.

She quickly hid her expression.

---

Champa Challenges Kai

Champa shook off his shock. "H-Hey! This is ridiculous! I demand a proper test!"

Beerus smirked. "Oh? You want to challenge Kai?"

Champa jabbed a finger forward. "Yes! If he's so strong, let's see him handle a God of Destruction from another universe!"

Kai blinked. "Huh? Are you sure—"

"Don't hold back!" Champa barked. "Come at me with everything you've got!"

Beerus whispered to Kai, "Remember the plan. Make him think he has a chance."

Kai nodded subtly.

Kai vs. Champa — The "Pretend" Fight

The two Gods floated into a circular arena. Goku and Vegeta cheered. Vados watched with intense focus.

Champa crackled with purple Destruction energy.

"Prepare yourself, boy!"

Kai stepped into stance, acting hesitant. "I'll try not to hurt you."

"YOU LITTLE—!!"

Champa charged.

Kai dodged a punch a fraction too slowly, letting Champa graze him.

Vegeta noticed. "Tch. He's acting."

Goku giggled. "Yeah… Kai's totally going easy."

Whis and Beerus smiled knowingly.

The "fight" continued with Kai blocking late, attacking softly, letting Champa push him back dramatically.

Finally, Kai gathered a faint orb of energy.

"Okay… I'm throwing this. Sorry in advance!"

He launched it—far weaker than his true strength.

Champa blocked, staggered, and with comical drama, flipped backward through the air.

"UWAHHHH!"

He hit the ground, bouncing twice.

Kai collapsed to one knee, pretending exhausted.

"Hah… hah… Wow… he's tough…"

Beerus immediately exaggerated concern.

"Oh dear! Kai, you overdid it! Look at you—completely drained!"

Goku nodded. "He must've used all his energy!"

Vegeta crossed his arms. "Terrible acting… but convincing enough for Champa."

Whis clapped politely. "Excellent performance."

Vados, however, wasn't fooled for a heartbeat.

Her eyes softened as she watched Kai pretending to pant.

He's kind… He didn't even try to embarrass Lord Champa.

Such humility… such gentleness with such power…

Her heart fluttered again.

Champa was still face-down on the arena floor, mumbling about "dramatic defeats" and "cup ramen conspiracies," while Beerus bragged loudly to anyone who would listen.

Kai sat on the edge of the platform, pretending to catch his breath, though he didn't even have a scratch.

From a distance, Vados watched him carefully.

Her hands rested lightly on her staff, her expression calm—but her eyes filled with a warmth Whis had never seen in her before.

Whis floated beside her, smiling slyly.

"My dear sister, you are unusually focused. Again."

Vados didn't answer immediately. Instead, she kept her gaze on Kai.

Finally she spoke.

"Whis… tell me about him. His temperament, his nature."

Whis blinked. "Oh? Asking about his nature? Not just his power?"

Vados's staff tapped the ground—not threateningly, merely flustered.

"Whis. Stop teasing and answer."

Whis folded his arms behind his back and spoke softly.

"Kai is gentle, respectful, and genuinely humble. He does not flaunt his strength. He trains earnestly. He does not mock or belittle."

He tilted his head.

"And he treats everyone to—including gods and angels—with surprising sincerity."

Vados's eyes softened even more.

"And… emotionally?" she whispered.

Whis raised an eyebrow.

"Are we evaluating him as a fighter, Sister… or as something else?"

Vados stiffened.

"I will evaluate him… as I see fit."

Whis chuckled.

"As you wish."

But inside, the truth was undeniable:

Vados was enchanted.

Kai still sat at the platform's edge, staring at the void sky. He didn't know why Vados kept glancing at him, but he assumed she was analyzing his "fake exhaustion."

Suddenly, soft footsteps approached.

Kai looked up and saw Vados walking toward him—graceful, serene, radiant, her staff gliding with each step.

His heart jumped a little. Angels had that effect on mortals and deities alike.

"Kai," she said, stopping a few feet away, "you seem wounded. May I?"

Kai blinked in surprise. "Ah—Lady Vados, I'm actually fine—"

She gently raised a hand.

A ring of celestial light opened beneath him.

Warm healing energy enveloped him, causing his hair to lift slightly. Even though he wasn't actually tired, the energy felt… soothing.

Too soothing.

Vados leaned in a little closer than necessary.

"Kai… you are remarkably composed for someone who faced a God of Destruction."

Kai swallowed. "Thank you, Lady Vados. You are too kind."

Her eyes met his.

She didn't pull away.

For the first time in ages, an angel's heart fluttered with something she could barely contain.

Quietly, almost too softly to hear, she murmured:

"You really are… extraordinary."

Vaods face warmed.

She immediately straightened, realizing she had spoken out loud.

Foolish, she scolded herself internally. An angel should not lose composure.

Vados composed herself again.

"Your recovery is complete," she said, her voice smooth once more.

Kai stood and bowed respectfully, hands at his sides in formal posture.

"Thank you, Lady Vados. Your assistance honors me."

Her breath caught.

No one—NO ONE—spoke to her with such respectful sincerity. Not even gods.

But Kai spoke as if she were a queen.

Vados blinked once, unable to stop the warmth rising in her chest.

"Kai…" she said quietly. "You need not be so formal."

He shook his head gently.

"It is only proper. You are the esteemed attendant of Lord Champa and sister to Whis. I'd never dare address you casually."

Her composure faltered again.

This time, she turned her face slightly so he wouldn't see the tiny smile she wasn't supposed to have.

Inside, her heart whispered:

He's polite… strong… humble… sincere…

Whis was right. He is unlike any mortal… or any god I've met.

I… must learn more.

Vados stood beside Kai, her staff resting lightly at her side. For once, her perfect angelic composure wavered—only slightly, only for him. Kai bowed respectfully, and that small gesture sent an unfamiliar warmth spreading through her chest.

A rare, precious moment.

A moment that might have lasted—

If Champa weren't… Champa.

"VAAADOOOOS!" The roar shook the Realm of Destruction like thunder.

Vados straightened instantly, expression snapping back into flawless neutrality. Kai tensed. Beerus rubbed his temples. Whis smiled as if he'd been waiting for this.

Champa marched toward them, completely oblivious to the tension he had just crushed.

"There you are! Why do you disappear like that?! I've been yelling for you for five minutes!"

Vados blinked politely. "My lord, you called once."

"Same thing!" he snapped, missing the tiny sigh she hid behind her smile—and the quick, soft glance she stole toward Kai.

Champa puffed out his chest and jabbed a finger at Beerus. "BEERUS! I've had a BRILLIANT idea!"

Beerus eyed him. "Let me guess… another food raid?"

"That was ONE TIME!"

Champa spread his arms proudly. "We're having a TOURNAMENT! Universe 6 versus Universe 7!"

Goku immediately lit up. "Tournament?! Count me in!"

Vegeta smirked. "Finally. Competition worth my time."

Champa continued, triumphant:

"If Universe 6 wins, I get your Earth! But if you win… the Super Dragon Balls are yours."

Beerus raised an eyebrow. "What do you want my Earth for?"

"Because yours has FOOD! And mine is RUINED!" Champa roared.

Kai frowned. How does he not notice Vados is acting strange?

Whis leaned toward her. "Sister… your composure seems unusually fragile."

Vados kept her posture perfect. "I am perfectly composed, Whis."

Her eyes, however, drifted… right back to Kai.

"VADOS!" Champa barked. "Show them the Super Dragon Ball map!"

She twirled her staff, summoning a vast hologram of golden orbs.

Champa pointed dramatically. "We gather them. Then the tournament decides everything!"

Beerus smirked. "Champa… you've already lost."

Goku pumped a fist. "Let's gooooo!"

Vegeta folded his arms. "Universe 6 won't stand a chance."

"Come, Vados!" Champa declared, turning with grand flair. "We prepare immediately!"

Vados bowed politely, but her final glance at Kai lingered—soft, curious, almost longing.

"We shall meet again at the tournament."

Kai smiled. "I'll be waiting, Lady Vados."

For a second—just a second—her cheeks warmed.

Whis chuckled behind her. "Oh dear. Sister… you're in trouble."

She flicked him with her staff before lifting into the sky. Champa soared upward in a burst of divine light, Vados following close behind—but her eyes stayed on Kai until the instant she vanished.

What is this feeling…? Her thoughts trembled, something no angel's mind ever should.

Beerus burst out laughing. "That idiot just doomed himself!"

Kai exhaled slowly, unable to shake the memory of Vados's eyes on him.

Vados — Somewhere Between Universes

The air around Vados shimmered as she and Champa traveled through the void. The silence between them was normal—Champa never noticed when she wasn't talking.

But something was wrong. Her heartbeat—something she shouldn't even have—felt heavier.

This sensation… this warmth…I must not feel this. Angels do not feel this.

She touched her chest lightly.

"Vados!" Champa barked. "Stop spacing out! Are you listening?!"

"My apologies, my lord," she said softly. Except the softness wasn't intentional. It slipped out.

Champa narrowed his eyes. "You're acting weird."

Vados froze.

Whis' voice echoed faintly in her memory:

"Sister… you're truly doomed."

Champa shrugged. "Whatever! Just start preparing the training grounds! My team needs to be in top shape!"

She bowed automatically, but her mind wandered again.

Back to Kai. His eyes. His voice. His presence.

She tightened her grip on her staff.

I must regain control… before this grows any stronger.

But somewhere deep inside her… something whispered:

…or before it becomes too late.

The Realm of Destruction quieted after Champa's dramatic exit, the ripples of his energy long gone. Whis floated peacefully above the platform, humming as he scribbled something into his little blue notebook.

Beerus stretched, tail flicking lazily.

"Well… that was entertaining."

Whis closed his notebook with a soft tap. "Indeed. But I must say, the most interesting thing wasn't Lord Champa's tournament idea."

Beerus smirked. "Let me guess… my brother's stupidity?"

Whis laughed lightly. "A close second."

Beerus shot him a look. "Then what was it?"

Whis' smile sharpened ever so slightly. "Vados."

Beerus blinked. "Vados?" He raised an eyebrow. "What about her? She was acting… strange."

"Oh yes," Whis chimed, eyes twinkling. "Strange in a very specific way."

Beerus lifted a clawed finger. "Whis… don't play games."

Whis clasped his hands behind his back, floating in slow circles around him like a smug angelic shark.

"My dear Lord Beerus, I believe my sister has developed a… fascination."

"With what?" Beerus demanded.

Whis paused—then pointed his staff straight at Kai.

Beerus stared. Then stared harder. Then his ears twitched.

"No…"

A grin began spreading across his face.

"No, no, no—you're telling me—your perfect, emotionless, holier-than-thou sister—that Vados—has a thing for Kai?"

Whis placed a hand over his mouth dramatically.

"Oh my. Lord Beerus, please. Angels do not 'have things.' It's simply… an interest. A spark. A—"

"—HAHAHAHA!" Beerus fell backward laughing, clutching his stomach. "VADOS?! Falling for a mortal?! Oh this is priceless! The Almighty Vados—getting flustered by a guy with a polite bow?!"

Whis smirked as he tapped his staff.

"She looked at him eight times before leaving."

"That many?!" Beerus wheezed. "And I thought mortals were dumb!"

Whis floated closer, voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper.

"She even… blushed."

Beerus' eyes bulged. "BLUSHED? Angels can blush?!"

"Apparently," Whis said calmly, though amusement leaked through every syllable.

Beerus burst out laughing again, rolling across the platform.

"Oh this is too good. I'm going to tease her for the next thousand years!"

Whis shook his head. "I wouldn't recommend that. You may not survive the attempt."

Beerus wiped a tear from his eye. "Oh, relax. She can't kill me."

Whis smirked. "Who said anything about killing you? A single well-timed staff flick and you'd be eating through a straw for weeks."

Beerus froze.

Whis' smile widened. "She's surprisingly protective when she's… emotionally compromised."

Beerus gulped. "Noted."

Whis glanced toward Kai, who was still thinking quietly to himself.

"Besides," Whis added softly, almost to himself, "you should prepare. When those two meet again… something tells me things won't be so simple."

Beerus sighed. "Great. An angel with feelings. That's the last thing this universe needs."

Whis chuckled. "On the contrary, my lord… it may be exactly what the universe needs."

Things proceeded almost exactly as they did in canon—

except for one significant change:

Goten and Trunks had trained hard enough to be allowed into the team selection.

Beerus—after a long argument with Whis—finally allowed Goten onto the main roster, but only one of the duo to avoid "chaos."

Thus, Universe 7's team became:

Goku

Vegeta

Gohan

Android 18

Goten

Trunks was furious, of course, but Goten promised to represent them both.

Universe 6 remained unchanged:

Botamo

Auta Magetta

Frost

Cabba

Hit

But even this didn't change Universe 6 fate from losing it only made it more certain. Also Zeno and his guard showed up and he set the tournament of power .

And after the tournament was over lord berrus sued the super dragon ball and revived planet earth in his brother universe as a he did in the original timeline as for why eh did it no one knows exotic him and maybe whis too

And after the tournament was over, Lord Beerus used the Super Dragon Balls to restore Planet Earth in Universe 6, just as he had done in the original timeline.

As for why he did it… no one knew.

Except him—and perhaps Whis.

Kai and Vados made their own secret arrangements.

Using subtle magic, they exchanged letters from time to time—slips of shimmering parchment appearing in each other's hands like stolen sparks of light.

With every message, their relationship grew stronger, firmer, more honest—until eventually, they both confessed their feelings openly and without hesitation.

They enjoyed these hidden moments.

They enjoyed being secret lovers…

Or so they thought.

Because the Grand Priest—Vados' father—noticed the change in her aura .

A subtle warmth in her ki.

A softness to her steps.

A brightness in her eyes.

He had been watching ever since.

At first, he was furious.

"How dare a mortal—touch the heart of an Angel?" he muttered, observing Kai from afar within the divine palace.

But he did not act immediately.

Instead, he watched.

Measured.

Evaluated.

And the more he analyzed Kai, the more shocked he became.

"This boy…" the Grand Priest whispered, eyes narrowing.

"His raw power… even unrefined, it already rivals Whis. His potential is… dangerous. Boundless. Almost… divine."

A long silence followed before he finally smiled—small, rare, and sincere.

"…And my daughter chose him."

As a father, not merely the Grand priest of Zeno, he felt something he hadn't in eons:

Pride.

He wanted Vados to have happiness.

But granting happiness to an Angel meant breaking ancient laws freeing her from eternal duty.

If Kai was truly the one she wanted… then he would have to prove it.

So the Grand Priest appeared before Kai in a burst of calm, cosmic radiance.

Kai froze, stunned. Vados was speechless.

The Grand Priest's voice carried the weight of creation itself.

"Kai. I have observed you. Your strength. Your choices. Your heart."

His gaze cut like the edge of a divine blade.

"And I have seen what you mean to my daughter."

Vados' eyes widened.

"F-Father—"

He raised a hand gently.

"No need to hide it, Vados. I am not blind."

Kai swallowed hard but stood tall.

"Sir… I love your daughter. I won't deny it."

The Grand Priest stepped toward him, aura shimmering like a cosmos made of pure order.

"Then you will prove it."

A cold shock ran down Kai's spine.

Vados whispered urgently, "Kai… Father's tests are not like mortal ones. They are absolute."

The Grand Priest continued:

"You have one year. One year to train, prepare for your what's coming."

He lowered his staff, and the air cracked with divine pressure.

"At the end of that year… you will face me.

Victory means you earn my blessing."

His eyes grew sharp.

"Defeat means death."

Vados gasped.

"Father! You can't—!"

He raised his hand silencing her.

"If he is to stand at your side, daughter… he must be capable of protecting you from forces far beyond your imagination."

Then he turned back to Kai.

"So… do you accept?"

Vados grabbed Kai's hand tightly.

"You don't have to do this," she whispered. "I already chose you… I don't want to lose you."

Kai lifted her chin, meeting her eyes.

"Vados… I won't run from your father. Or from fate. Not when it's for you."

He stepped forward and spoke firmly:

"I accept your challenge. Without hesitation."

The Grand Priest gave the faintest hint of approval.

"Very well. Survive my trial… and you may truly stand beside my daughter."

And with that, he vanished.

After His Departure

Silence.

Vados threw her arms around Kai, clinging to him tightly.

"You idiot," she whispered, her voice trembling.

"Why did you say yes so quickly…?"

Kai smiled softly, brushing her silver hair aside.

"Because you're worth it. Every risk. Every fight. Every scar."

She pressed her forehead to his.

"Then I'll train you," she said, voice firm now.

"I won't let you face Father unprepared."

Kai chuckled.

"Training with you? Sounds like Heaven but you don't have to, I got my own arrangements"

She blushed lightly—something almost no one in existence had ever seen.

"Kai… don't joke at a time like this," she murmured, but there was a fragile worry in her voice.

Kai didn't answer with words.

Instead, he stepped forward and whispered:

"I'll come back stronger, Vados. Just wait for me."

And in the blink of an eye—

ZWOOM

He vanished.

Straight into his own dimension.

Vados stared at the empty space where he had stood only seconds ago.

Her voice trembled just slightly.

"…Where did he go?"

She extended her senses across the universe, searching, but felt nothing. His ki was gone.

Just then, a familiar lazy voice echoed behind her.

"Well well, what's with that long face?"

Beerus and Whis arrived, followed by Goku and Vegeta teleporting in with an instant transmission shimmer.

Vados turned quickly.

"You four—do any of you know where Kai disappeared to just now?"

Goku scratched his head.

"Uh… he vanished so fast I didn't even sense the direction."

Whis smiled knowingly.

"Actually, I believe I do."

But Vegeta spoke first, arms crossed, chin lifted proudly.

"Tch. It's obvious."

He met Vados' eyes.

"Kai went to his pocket dimension."

Vados blinked.

"You know of that place?"

Vegeta nodded.

"That brat told us about it once. Said he could control the time-flow in there. Ten days inside could be ten minutes outside… or even ten years."

Goku whistled.

"yeb that's Kai for you allways finding a way to get things done."

Whis chuckled lightly.

"Indeed. It seems Kai is planning to train for far longer than any of us expected."

Vados' eyes widened as realization dawned.

"So… that's his plan," she whispered.

"To face Father… by bending time itself."

Her chest tightened—pride and fear mixing within her.

Things went just like the original timeline after that with Goku and Vegeta training for the tournament of power and freeza revival and all through all this things didn't go too far from the roginal timeline expet that freeza was killlled by gohan the moment he was revived so Friezza didn't get to do much troubles . Everything went well expet for one angel who was waiting for her beloved .vaods spent her time thinking about Kai almost all the time she even stayed in the realm of destruction of universe 7 waiting for him and thanks to her relionship with Kai becoming known to the others champa didn't know what to do his angel was on strike and till Kai battle with the grand priest Kai and vaods were untouchable. The okni king didn't think much of it after all Kai battle with the grand priest already on the same day with the tournament he was quit exited to see who is this mortal that dared to approach the divine.

Back inside Kai's dimension, the young warrior stood alone beneath a sky of swirling silver clouds. The air trembled around him as he opened his status window one last time before beginning the next phase of his training.

A translucent blue panel unfolded in front of him:

Kai smirked at the numbers.

"Not bad… but I'm not stopping here."

He closed the window with a flick of his hand.

This dimension—his dimension—responded instantly. The sky darkened. The ground reshaped itself into a massive battlefield. Mountains erupted, then crumbled. The wind howled like a living beast.

Because Kai's preferred method of training was simple.

Battle. Pure battle.

And nothing fought him better than—

"Clone Creation: Full Power."

A dozen copies of Kai appeared around him, each identical, each grinning with the same wild hunger for combat.

The first clone spoke, cracking its knuckles.

"Heh. Ready to die again?"

Kai smirked.

"Only if you kill me first."

They rushed in.

Blow after blow shook the dimension.

Shockwaves bent the sky.

Sparks of golden and crimson power carved scars in the earth.

And with every clash—every death, every explosion—Kai grew.

His growth rate accelerated in ways impossible for normal beings.

Every mistake became a stat increase.

Every injury became an opportunity.

Every death of a clone fed more data into his body and mind.

Time?

He didn't care about time.

He controlled it.

He snapped his fingers once at the beginning:

1 second outside = 10 years inside.

And then he forgot the outside world entirely.

Years passed.

Decades passed.

A century of nonstop war between Kai and countless versions of himself.

His power rose like a star going supernova.

Yet Kai didn't even realize he had already surpassed the goal he originally set.

He kept going, kept pushing, kept escalating the violence.

But then—

Something went wrong.

Just as he was about to obliterate one of his clones with a blow that tore the sky in half—

PING!

A red notification jolted him still.

[WARNING]

Dimension stability is collapsing.

Power level too high for current dimension structure.

Dimension growth rate cannot keep up with host's increasing power.

Kai blinked.

"What…?"

But before he could even process the message—

His status window forced itself open, glowing violently.

"Kai," he muttered, eyes widening as numbers skyrocketed on their own,

"…just how far did you go?"

The dimension trembled.

And something was about to break.

The moment the status window forced itself open, the numbers didn't just rise—

They erupted.

Lines of code twisted into new shapes.

Values surged upward faster than the system could format them.

The window flickered, glitched, then stabilized—barely—just long enough for Kai to read the impossible.

His stats were multiplying by entire orders of magnitude every second.

It felt like gravity itself bent around him.

Kai staggered back, teeth clenched.

"What the hell—?!"

The ground beneath him shattered like glass.

Cracks raced across the surface, spreading out in all directions like a spiderweb of destruction.

Above him, the sky split open—

not metaphorically, but physically, tearing like a cheap fabric.

Void bled through the cracks.

Raw, humming, cosmic emptiness.

The notification repeated, louder:

[CRITICAL WARNING]

DIMENSION COLLAPSE IMMINENT

Host power has exceeded 10ⁿ⁰ thresholds.

Current dimension cannot contain host existence.

Kai's clones froze mid-battle, their eyes widening in shock. One of them whispered:

"This dimension… can't hold us anymore."

Another clone smirked bitterly.

"Tch. He finally broke it."

Kai clenched his fists, aura roaring like an ancient dragon awakening.

"No… not breaking.

Evolving."

The dimension shook violently.

Mountains dissolved into particles.

Rivers rose upward like spirals of liquid light.

Time itself buckled—flashing backward and forward, looping, fracturing.

Kai felt his feet drop as the entire plane lost shape.

The void around the cracks expanded, devouring the world.

The dimension screamed—not with sound, but with pressure, vibration, distortion.

It was dying.

Kai looked at his trembling palms.

His aura was no longer gold, no longer blue, no longer any color he recognized.

It was divine white fire mixed with primordial black lightning, swirling around him like a newborn star.

His power wasn't just rising.

It was transcending.

He exhaled slowly.

"Looks like I pushed too far…"

The system interrupted him again:

[FINAL WARNING]

Dimension Collapse in: 10… 9… 8…

---

Kai's expression hardened.

"Not today."

He raised both hands.

His aura exploded upward, punching a hole through the crumbling sky.

The clones shielded their eyes.

One shouted, "What are you doing!?"

Kai answered with a voice that shook the void:

"I'm reforging it.

This dimension isn't breaking—

it's ascending with me."

---

Creation Mode: Overdrive

The system stuttered violently.

Symbols and runes—ancient, divine, forbidden—appeared around Kai.

These weren't from his Gamer ability.

They came from him.

His bloodline.

His origin.

His true nature.

He extended his power outward—

and the collapsing world froze in place, held back by sheer force of will.

Space stopped collapsing.

Time stopped breaking.

Matter stopped dissolving.

Kai roared:

"DIMENSION EVOLUTION—BEGIN!"

A new window appeared—something he had never seen before.

Not blue.

Not digital.

But written in cosmic script, glowing like the sun of a higher plane.

[DIMENSION ASCENSION OPTIONS]

Choose new tier:

Divine Realm (Low)

Divine Realm (High)

Celestial Plane

Primordial World

Origin Realm

Kai smirked.

"No hesitation."

He slammed his hand onto the highest option:

Origin Realm.

The system reacted instantly.

---

[CONFIRMED]

UPGRADING PERSONAL DIMENSION TO AN ORIGIN REALM

FORGING…

ASCENDING…

REWRITING REALITY…

STABILIZING HOST…

WARNING: THIS PROCESS WILL BE EXTREMELY VIOLENT

Kai chuckled.

"When isn't it?"

The Rebirth of a Universe

Light burst from his body—blinding, absolute, infinite.

A shockwave of creation surged outward.

The cracks in reality reversed, then closed.

The void was consumed by new stars.

Landmasses reshaped into floating continents.

Time rewound, then stabilized in layered streams.

Energy condensed into rivers of glowing white plasma.

New laws of physics wrote themselves in the air.

New constellations formed.

New cosmic rules spiraled into existence.

Kai floated in the center, eyes glowing with pure cosmic gold.

His aura expanded far beyond the horizon.

And then—

BOOOOM!

A final explosion of power erupted—

and the dimension snapped into its new shape:

A divine-tier plane.

A universe born entirely from his power.

A realm only beings equal to him could survive in.

Kai opened his eyes slowly.

"…That should do it."

He looked around at his new world.

It pulsed with life, power, and divine stability.

Then—

PING!

A new message appeared.

[STATUS UPDATE]

Host's stats have exceeded measurable limits.

Displaying in compressed format?

> YES / NO

Kai exhaled sharply.

"…Damn. I really broke the ceiling."

He smiled slightly.

"Alright. Show me."

The newly forged Origin Realm hummed around Kai like a living universe.

Stars pulsed in rhythm with his heartbeat.

The ground beneath him formed a platform of smooth black stone veined with golden light—created unconsciously by his presence.

But Kai only focused on the floating notification still blinking in front of him.

The screen didn't just update—

it expanded into a vast cosmic panel stretching across the sky, as if the entire realm needed to display his new power.

Lines of data flowed like waterfalls.

Symbols and numbers rearranged.

The system strained—literally strained—to quantify him.

Finally, the window stabilized.

Kai's eyes widened slightly.

"...Well, damn."

"Okay… yeah. I may have overdone it."

But a small grin tugged at his lips.

He looked around his realm—the rivers of light, the sky filled with stars, continents drifting in slow cosmic patterns.

"This… is perfect ." he said admiring the place. His new realm But something didn't feel right.

The air grew heavier.

The Origin Realm's stars flickered.

The ground beneath Kai pulsed as if responding to a massive internal shift.

Kai frowned.

"…The hell now?"

Then—

PING.

Not the usual soft notification.

This one echoed like a bell tolling through the multiverse, shaking even the divine laws he had just written.

A new window formed in front of him—not blue, not cosmic:

Black and gold.

Ancient.

Authority-filled.

Overwhelming.

Kai's eyes narrowed as the system's voice—something he had never heard before—spoke directly into his mind:

[SYSTEM EVOLUTION TRIGGERED]

Host power has surpassed the limitations of the standard Gamer Ability.

System integrity at risk.

Evolving to match host's new existence…

Kai blinked.

"…The system's evolving too?"

The window exploded into countless fractal symbols that spiraled around him in rings of gold and black fire. Each symbol burned into the realm itself, rewriting how the system interacted with him.

The Origin Realm trembled.

The sky cracked open and poured down streams of data like falling stars.

[GAMER EVOLUTION: INITIALIZING]

Upgrading to: SUPREME GAMER SYSTEM (TIER-ZERO)

Kai stepped back.

"T-Tier Zero…? What tier was I before?!"

The system replied instantly:

[Previous Tier: Tier 7 — Mortal System Class]

[New Tier: Tier 0 — Transcendent Absolute Class]

Kai whistled.

"So I jumped… seven tiers up in one go?"

The symbols reached his body, spiraling into his skin like tattoos of light.

His aura exploded outward—white flame laced with runic gold.

The system continued:

[SUPREME GAMER SYSTEM — COMPLETE]

Kai stared.

"…Okay, that's actually insanely useful."

A final message appeared, pulsing with authority:

---

[SUPREME GAMER SYSTEM ONLINE]

Host is now fully synchronized.

Proceed at your own risk. The multiverse will react.

---

Kai closed the window, his expression calm—but a fire burned in his eyes.

"So… I've stepped into a new league."

He clenched his fist.

"And now… I'm strong enough to protect her."

The Origin Realm pulsed in agreement.

"Time to go back now" . Kai said to himself before setting his clones to keep working on the realm and study it further before he teleported back to the outside world.

Things unfolded almost exactly like the original timeline after that.

Goku and Vegeta continued their intense training for the Tournament of Power.

Frieza was revived—but only for a moment.

The instant he opened his eyes, still lying in the cocoon of energy…

Gohan appeared above him, aura blazing.

Frieza hissed, "W-what—?!"

Gohan didn't wait.

One golden flash.

One strike.

One scream cut short.

Frieza's body disintegrated into dust, erased before he could start even a fraction of his usual chaos.

Goku landed beside his son, eyes wide.

"Gohan! I thought you said you'd let us talk to—"

Gohan adjusted his glasses, sighing.

"Dad… I've learned my lesson with Frieza. Twice."

He turned away.

"I'm not giving him a third chance."

Goku scratched his cheek. "Well… can't argue with that."

And so the timeline moved on.

Universe 7 prepared for the Tournament of Power just as before.

Recruits were gathered. Training intensified. Tension rose.

Everything progressed smoothly—

Except for one person.

One being, to be precise.

One Angel, whose thoughts drifted to a single name over and over.

---

Vados.

Vados found herself unable to focus on her duties. She drifted through her tasks, barely paying attention, her expression soft and distant—an incredibly rare sight for one of her kind.

Every few minutes she caught herself staring into the sky of Universe 7, whispering to no one:

"…Kai. What are you doing now?"

She spent more time in Beerus' world of destruction than in her own universe, sometimes simply sitting on a floating rock with her staff resting across her lap.

Beerus noticed.

Whis noticed.

Even the Supreme Kai noticed.

But no one dared question her. Not anymore.

Not after her relationship with Kai became quietly known among the gods.

And certainly not after Kai's incoming fight with the Grand Priest had been announced.

Champa, however… was suffering.

"This is ridiculous!" he roared, slamming his cup of tea on the table so hard it shattered. "My Angel is on strike! On STRIKE!"

Vados, standing nearby, didn't even turn to him.

She simply waved her hand, repairing the shattered cup while remaining deep in thought.

Champa's eye twitched.

"Vados! Did you hear me?! You haven't been home in DAYS! I demand an expl—"

"Lord Champa," she said softly, eyes still fixed on a distant point only she could sense.

"I'll return when Kai returns."

Champa froze.

Even Whis appeared surprised.

"Dear sister," he murmured with a knowing smile, "since when do Angels 'wait' for mortals?"

Vados finally looked at him.

Her eyes glowed with a gentle but absolute resolve.

"He's not just a mortal."

Whis chuckled. "Ah… I suppose not."

Champa groaned, collapsing back into his seat.

"Great. Wonderful. My Angel fell in love and now I have no one to cook for me—"

Beerus smacked him in the head.

"Stop whining."

---

Meanwhile… in Zeno's palace.

The Omni-King swung his legs on his throne, humming happily.

"So the mortal who gonna fight the Grand Priest will appear today too?" he asked, eyes sparkling.

The attendants bowed deeply. "Yes, Lord Zeno."

"Yaaaay!" Zeno clapped. "I'm excited! I want to see what he'll do! I want to see how strong he is!"

The Grand Priest bowed with a faint smile.

"He has grown… quite interesting."

Zeno giggled.

"And he made one of the Angels go all soft! That's funny!"

The Grand Priest opened his eyes slightly.

"…Indeed."

The day of the Tournament of Power had come.

And somewhere far away—

in a dimension only he could enter—

Kai was preparing to step out.

Vados felt his energy surge for the first time in months.

Her heart skipped.

"He's back…"

And the storm was about to begin.

"I'm here my love and sorry if I kept you waiting for long". A gentle voice came behind vaods she didn't need to turn to know who he was.

Vados did not turn. She didn't need to.

The moment that voice reached her ears, the entire world seemed to still. Time didn't freeze—but her heart did.

"…Kai."

She slowly turned, and there he stood—calm, relaxed, his aura perfectly sealed, not a single wisp leaking out. If she didn't already know him, she would've sworn he was just a mortal with no ki at all.

A gentle smile played on his lips.

"I'm here, my love. And I'm sorry if I kept you waiting so long."

Vados inhaled sharply. Her composure—flawless even before gods—wavered.

"Kai… your presence… it's completely…" She stepped closer, brows furrowed in disbelief. "I can't sense anything. Not your ki, not your divine essence, not even your dimensional signature."

Kai chuckled softly. "I promised I'd master hiding everything. And I did."

He raised one hand, and reality flickered for the briefest instant.

Not power leaking out.

No aura spilling.

Just a ripple in existence.

A ripple only she could detect.

Her lips parted. "…You evolved your dimension again, didn't you?"

"Mm." Kai nodded. "I pushed it past the usual boundaries. My entire realm transcended into a divine meta-plane. Even the Grand Priest can't read it unless I allow him."

Her eyes widened—not with fear, but wonder.

"Kai… that's impossible. That level of concealment shouldn't exist. Even we Angels can't fully hide from father."

Kai walked toward her until they were only inches apart.

"That's why I did it," he whispered. "I want to walk into the Tournament of Power without anyone knowing what I really am. Not Zeno. Not the Grand Priest. Not the gods. Not even Whis."

He gently touched her cheek.

"Only you."

Vados felt heat rise to her face—actual warmth, rare for an Angel. "Y-You troublesome man… You could have at least warned me…"

Kai leaned forward slightly, teasing.

"I thought you wanted to be surprised."

Vados lightly smacked his arm, but her smile betrayed her.

"You have no idea how much I missed you," she murmured, voice low.

Kai's expression softened. "I know. I felt you waiting for me every day."

The words made her heart flutter.

Back in Beerus' Planet…

Beerus sniffed the air dramatically.

"…Whis."

"Yes, Lord Beerus?"

"Do you sense anything strange?"

Whis tilted his head. "Hmm… I sense absolutely nothing unusual."

Beerus frowned. "Exactly. Nothing. It's too quiet."

Champa barged into view, panicked. "Vados disappeared again! She better not be—"

A small light flashed behind them.

Kai and Vados appeared, floating gracefully.

Vados let out a small sigh of contentment—something only Kai could have caused.

Beerus' eyes widened immediately. "K-Kai. You're finally back. Where the hell have you—"

He froze.

Whis froze.

Champa froze.

All three gods stared at Kai with confusion.

They sensed…

nothing.

Not power. Not divinity. Not mortal ki. Not dimensional energy.

It was like staring at a void disguised as a man.

Beerus blinked several times. "Whis… is he suppressing his power?"

Whis narrowed his eyes. "…Lord Beerus, I don't sense any power. Not even a trace. This is on a level I've never witnessed."

Champa pointed at Kai aggressively. "You—what trick are you using?! Why can't I sense anything?! Even people with no ki have something! You're like a ghost!"

Kai just smiled politely.

"I'm simply keeping my energy private, Lord Champa. Nothing more."

Champa trembled. "That makes it WORSE!"

Vados cleared her throat and stepped just slightly closer to Kai, as if to shield him.

"Lord Champa, Lord Beerus… it is not a trick. Kai has advanced beyond typical detection."

Beerus squinted. "Meaning?"

"Meaning…" Vados said with a small sigh, "…you won't sense him unless he chooses to be sensed."

The two Gods of Destruction stared at Kai like he was an unpredictable bomb.

Whis, however, smiled warmly.

"Congratulations, Kai. You've hidden yourself even better than father hides his spare desserts."

Kai chuckled. "High praise."

Zeno's Palace

The Grand Priest paused mid-speech.

Every Angel stilled.

Every guard froze.

Because something had happened.

Something faint—but unmistakable.

A presence vanished from the detectable layers of reality.

The Grand Priest slowly opened his eyes.

"…Interesting."

Zeno leaned forward eagerly. "Did something happen?"

The Grand Priest smiled.

"The mortal you wish to see… has grown even more entertaining."

Back to Universe 7

Kai looked at Vados.

Vados looked at him.

And she couldn't help it.

She stepped closer, whispering softly so only he could hear:

"…I'm proud of you."

Kai leaned in, brushing his forehead against hers.

"You haven't even seen what I really achieved yet, Vados."

Her breath hitched.

"And you won't," he whispered, "not until I decide to show you."

If you want, I can continue with:

• Kai joining Universe 7's team • Kai shocking the gods by appearing "weak" • The Tournament of Power starting • Zeno getting excited • Kai fighting while still hiding his power • Vados' reactions • Grand Priest suspecting something

Just say continue.

The moment Kai and Vados finished speaking, Beerus straightened, tail twitching.

"A-Anyway!" he barked, trying to regain authority. "Now that you're here, Kai, you're participating in the Tournament of Power. No backing out."

Kai smiled politely.

"Of course, Lord Beerus. I already planned to join."

Goku jumped forward excitedly.

"Kai!! You're back! I wanna fight you again! I bet you got way stronger, huh?!"

Kai tilted his head innocently.

"Stronger? Not really. I just… trained a bit."

Goku blinked.

"Eh? But I can't feel your energy at all."

Vegeta crossed his arms.

"Tch. Don't let him fool you, Kakarot. He's hiding everything. I can't sense a single drop."

Krillin whispered to Android 18:

"Is… is that scary or reassuring?"

18 shrugged. "Both."

Piccolo narrowed his eyes.

"…Kai. Even someone as weak as Yajirobe has a spiritual signature. But you… have nothing."

Kai smiled.

"That's the point."

Beerus rubbed his temples.

"This is making me nervous."

Champa snorted.

"It SHOULD!"

Vados glanced at Kai affectionately.

"He is hiding for a reason. One he will reveal in time."

Goku scratched his head.

"Well, if you say so!"

And with that—Kai officially joined Universe 7's roster.

All fighters were transported to the World of Void.

The vast white arena stretched endlessly, glowing under Zeno's excitement.

When the gods gathered, they immediately looked at Kai.

Belmod of Universe 11 frowned.

"Whis… who is that mortal? He feels—"

"Ordinary?" Sidra offered.

Rumsshi snorted.

"Weak? Completely unremarkable."

Whis only smiled politely.

"Oh, Kai? He's… complicated."

Vados smirked.

Very few gods missed that expression.

The Grand Priest appeared above them all.

"The Tournament of Power shall begin shortly. Combatants, prepare yourselves."

He looked around the teams.

Yet when his eyes passed over Kai…

They paused.

Just for a split second.

A microscopic, nearly imperceptible flicker of curiosity.

Not suspicion.

Not concern.

Curiosity.

Then he continued.

Gods whispered among themselves:

"Who is that mortal?"

"He has no presence."

"Is he sick? Dying?"

"Did Universe 7 bring a civilian?!"

Even Jiren opened his eyes briefly.

"…Nothing."

Both Zenos hopped up and down on their thrones.

"Look! Look! Everyone's here!"

"So many fighters!"

"So many universes!"

Then Present Zeno pointed forward.

"Oh! That one!"

Future Zeno leaned in. "Which one?"

"That one! The mortal with no sparkles!"

"Why he has no sparkles?"

"I dunno! That's why he's interesting!"

Both Zenos stared directly at Kai.

Goku waved proudly.

"That's Kai! He's super strong!"

Kai gave a respectful bow.

"Lord Zeno."

Zeno grinned.

"He talks politely! I like him!"

Even the Grand Priest smiled faintly.

The arena shook.

The countdown began.

3… 2… 1… BEGIN!

Immediately chaos erupted—fighters clashing everywhere.

Toppo targeted Frieza.

Kale rampaged.

Goku went for Jiren.

Vegeta blasted Universe 9.

Android 17 darted between enemies.

And Kai?

Kai simply walked.

Hands behind his back.

Expression calm.

Energy nonexistent.

Some fighters ignored him.

Others laughed.

A wolf from Universe 9 rushed him, claws ready.

"Hah! Easy prey!"

He slashed—

And hit nothing.

Kai moved behind him without even seeming to step.

"I recommend you choose a different target."

The wolf spun, furious.

"How did—?!"

Kai flicked a single finger.

A soft breeze.

The wolf flew across the arena, eliminated instantly.

"No way…"

"Did he even move?"

"What WAS that?"

But even then—no aura.

No display of power.

Nothing that could alarm a god.

Just a strange, silent mortal calmly walking.

---

From the spectator seats, Vados watched him with an unreadable gaze.

Every movement he made…

Every slight step…

Every subtle shift…

She could see it.

The way he erased his presence perfectly.

The micro-adjustments to reality around him.

The way he bent space without flaring energy.

She whispered softly:

"You're doing wonderfully, Kai…"

Champa heard her and gritted his teeth.

"I swear, if he steals my Angel after this—"

Beerus smacked him.

"Shut up."

Whis chuckled quietly.

Vados' eyes softened as she watched him move gracefully through the battlefield.

To everyone else, he looked like a harmless participant.

But she felt it.

She felt the storm resting beneath his skin.

The infinite, silent depth.

"Hide as much as you like…" she murmured.

A tiny smile tugged at her lips.

"…but I will always feel you."

---

6. The Grand Priest Starts Suspecting Something

The Grand Priest stood with his hands folded, watching.

Calm.

Collected.

Then…

One moment.

Just a single moment.

Kai stepped between two enemies.

He didn't attack.

He didn't defend.

He simply shifted.

Reality bent around him like a curtain.

The Grand Priest's eyes flickered.

"…Oh?"

Zeno looked up.

"What is it?"

"Nothing concerning," the Grand Priest replied, smiling.

But internally?

He was intrigued.

A mortal who moves as though unbound by this plane… yet leaves no trace. Fascinating.

The other Angels noticed too—barely.

Marcarita narrowed her eyes.

"Dear sister Vados… your taste is unusual."

Vados smirked proudly.

"You have no idea."

High above the arena, the Grand Priest observed everything with serene, divine clarity.

Every ki signature.

Every movement.

Every distortion in the fabric of the World of Void.

Nothing escaped him.

Nothing—

Except one thing.

Kai.

A mortal with no aura.

No spiritual trace.

No divine wavelength.

No dimensional footprint.

Yet moving as though the laws of existence bent gently around him.

The Grand Priest's eyes narrowed—not with suspicion, but with… recognition.

A familiarity.

A pattern that reminded him of someone.

Or rather…

Of his daughter.

He watched Kai shift between two fighters—without a sound, without a ripple, without even air displacement.

"…Interesting."

Zeno leaned over eagerly.

"What is it? What is it? Did something cool happen?"

The Grand Priest smiled gently, eyes still fixed on Kai.

"Just something I look forward to understanding better, Lord Zeno."

Internally—

his thoughts were very different.

So this is the man Vados has chosen…

A flicker of pride warmed his usually calm heart.

He hides himself perfectly. Even from me. That alone is impressive.

Then Kai made another subtle movement—one that bent the space under his foot just slightly to redirect an attack behind him, eliminating an enemy without ever turning around.

The Grand Priest's serene smile deepened.

And yet, that technique… yes. Truly, my daughter chose well.

He clasped his hands behind his back.

I admit… I'm excited. After the tournament… I shall test him myself. Even if only lightly.

His eyes glowed faintly.

A future son-in-law worthy of an Angel's hand… and possibly far more.

Vados subtly looked away from the arena and toward the spectators.

Her father was watching Kai.

Not with suspicion.

But with unmistakable interest.

And excitement.

Her heart skipped.

Father…

He rarely grew intrigued by mortals.

He rarely showed any desire to fight outside formal duty.

But now?

He was observing Kai like someone examining a jewel.

A rare one.

A special one.

One that he wanted to test—personally.

Her cheeks warmed.

Is he already… approving?

Down in the arena, Kai simply continued walking calmly, hands behind his back, as chaos raged around him.

Fighters crashed.

Explosions roared.

Blasts tore up the arena floor.

And Kai moved like a man strolling through a quiet garden.

No one knew the Grand Priest was evaluating him.

No one knew Zeno was interested in him.

No one knew the Angels were debating about him.

But Kai sensed one thing.

Just one.

A gentle warmth from above—a familiar presence watching him with approval.

He smiled slightly.

Vados must be proud.

As fighters continued clashing below, the Grand Priest tilted his head ever so slightly.

Once this tournament ends…

I shall call Kai for a private audience.

His fingers tightened faintly on his staff.

Let us see if the man who captured my daughter's heart… can also withstand a fraction of mine.

A rare spark lit his eyes—

excitement.

Toppo was the first to notice something odd.

Not power.

Not danger.

Not pressure.

But the lack of all three.

He watched Kai walk calmly through the battlefield, untouched, unhurried.

"Kahseral," Toppo said. "Observe that mortal."

Kahseral followed his gaze.

"…He seems irrelevant."

"Exactly," Toppo said. "Which is suspicious."

Dyspo zipped in front of them.

"You want me to test him? Easy!"

Before Toppo could answer, Dyspo shot forward—leaving only a purple blur—as he appeared behind Kai, kicking at full speed.

To the Pride Trooper's shock—

His leg passed through an after-image.

"Huh?!"

Kai appeared behind him, voice calm.

"You're very fast. But speed is meaningless if you reveal your movement pattern through your heartbeat."

Dyspo spun.

"How did you—!?"

Kai tapped his forehead lightly.

"I hear things."

Dyspo flinched back on instinct.

Toppo stepped in front of Dyspo immediately, defensive stance raised.

"That movement… that speech… you're no ordinary mortal."

Kai bowed politely.

"Thank you."

Toppo frowned.

Not angry—curious.

Across the arena, Jiren slowly opened his eyes.

Not for Goku.

Not for Vegeta.

Not for any massive ki flare.

But for the one person producing absolutely none.

His senses reached outward…

And found a void.

A void shaped like a man.

Jiren whispered under his breath:

"…Impossible."

Belmod, watching from above, was confused.

"What's wrong, Jiren?"

Jiren did not take his eyes off Kai.

"That mortal… has no energy. No heartbeat fluctuation. No spiritual presence."

Belmod raised a brow.

"…So he's weak?"

Jiren shook his head slowly.

"No. The complete absence of presence… is a technique I have seen only from warriors and beings with overwhelming power."

Toppo and Dyspo froze.

Kahseral swallowed.

Universe 11 suddenly became very—

very interested in Kai.

A fighter from Universe 4 lunged at Kai from behind, claws extended, completely silent.

The gods watching leaned forward.

But Kai didn't turn.

Didn't move.

Didn't even blink.

Instead…

The moment the claws touched his back, reality around his body gently rippled—

And the attacker passed straight through him.

Not phasing.

Not a dodge.

Not an illusion.

Kai simply wasn't in that point in space anymore.

The attacker spun wildly.

"What are you—?!"

Kai replied gently.

"You should retreat before someone hurts you."

Then he flicked the air.

Just air.

A breeze.

Universe 4 fighter:

"A—AAAA—!"

And they were blown off the arena.

The gods watching choked.

"What… was that?"

"He disappeared from space for a moment…"

"That wasn't teleportation!"

"That was something higher!"

Whis smiled softly.

Beerus was sweating.

Champa was screaming.

Vados…

Vados looked like she wanted to melt.

Vados attempted to keep her normal composed posture, hands folded, expression calm.

But Her eyes glowed every time Kai acted.

Her lips curved every time he moved, even subtly.

Marcarita nudged her elbow teasingly.

"My my, sister. You're vibrating."

Vados coughed into her hand.

"I-I am not vibrating. I am simply… pleased."

Whis leaned over with a grin.

"Father is pleased too. Quite rare."

Vados' face heated a little.

"He… noticed?"

"Oh yes," Whis said. "He hasn't looked this excited since Zeno offered him a dessert kingdom."

Vados turned back to the arena.

And whispered so quietly only Angels could hear:

"…Keep going, my Kai."

Above the arena, the Grand Priest was smiling.

Not politely.

Not neutrally.

Truly smiling.

He watched Kai's movements with calm fascination.

He nullified presence perfectly.

He bends space with elegance.

He shifts dimensions without force.

His eyes narrowed with delight.

Ah, Vados… you have chosen exceptionally well.

Zeno tugged on his sleeve.

"What's happening? Why are you smiling like that?"

The Grand Priest clasped his hands behind his back.

"I am anticipating something, Lord Zeno."

"What? What? Tell me!"

He gazed down at Kai.

"I am looking forward," he said with calm joy,

"to the battle I shall have with him after this tournament ends."

Zeno gasped.

"A fight?! A fight with THAT mortal?! Yay!!"

The Grand Priest nodded.

"Yes. I wish to see what he truly is, beneath that perfect silence."

Kai's calm walking through the battlefield did not go unnoticed.

Universe 11 was already watching him.

Universe 4 whispered about him.

Universe 9 growled in his direction.

Universe 3 analyzed him.

And then—

A single fighter from Universe 3 shouted:

"HE'S THE MOST SUSPICIOUS ONE! TARGET HIM!"

Universe 9 instantly agreed.

Universe 4, hidden in the shadows, followed suit.

Three entire teams turned toward the silent, "powerless" Kai.

Dozens of eyes sharpened.

Dozens of auras flared.

Dozens of warriors lunged at once.

Toppo muttered under his breath:

"Be careful… this will reveal the truth."

Vados' staff trembled slightly in her hand.

Her heart, however, remained calm.

"He'll be fine."

But Beerus was panicking.

"H-HEY! He's not even powering up! Kai, MOVE!"

Goku blinked in confusion.

"Why's he just standing there…?"

Jiren narrowed his eyes.

"He's waiting."

---

A Three-Universe Assault

Universe 3 unleashed a barrage of mechanical laser cannons.

Universe 4 revealed their hidden fighters, diving toward him with poison blades.

Universe 9 launched a giant combined energy blast from all three Trio of Danger brothers at once.

The air vibrated.

The arena cracked.

Even the Gods leaned forward.

And in the center of all of it—

Kai didn't even shift his stance.

Hands behind his back.

Expression calm.

Breathing steady.

The attacks converged—

BOOOOOOM!!!

The entire stage erupted in a massive explosion.

Dust shot into the sky.

A crater formed where Kai stood.

The fighters all grinned.

"We got him!"

"He wasn't that special—"

"Wait—why can't I feel—"

The dust cleared.

Nothing.

No aura.

No energy.

Just Kai.

Standing exactly where he was before.

Not a hair out of place.

Not even dust on his clothes.

The entire arena fell silent.

Even Zeno blinked.

"…Huh?"

---

Kai Lifts a Hand

Slowly, gracefully, as though adjusting his sleeve—

Kai raised one hand.

Just one.

No stance.

No power-up.

No aura.

He looked at the gathered enemies surrounding him.

"Please step back."

They laughed.

"Or what?!"

"You gonna glare us to death?"

"You don't even HAVE power!"

Kai exhaled softly.

"Then don't say I didn't warn you."

He flicked his wrist outward in a smooth, tiny motion—

WHOOM.

No explosion.

No bright light.

No swirling energy.

Just a silent wave of force.

Like a breath of wind.

But it hit the entire battlefield.

Universe 4:

"A—aaaa—AAAAAA—!!!"

Universe 9:

"W-WAIT—NOT LIKE—!!!"

Universe 3:

"Our sensors are malfunctioning—WE ARE BEING DRAGGED—!!!"

And then—

FWOOOOOOOSH!!!

In a single instant—

EVERY MEMBER

of Universe 3, Universe 4, and Universe 9

was blown completely off the arena.

Flung like leaves in a hurricane.

Not one remained.

The Grand Priest raised his staff calmly.

"Universes 3, 4, and 9 have been fully eliminated."

Three spectator stands vanished.

The King of All blinked twice.

"Wow."

"So many gone!"

"That was fast!"

---

The Reactions Above

Beerus

"…Wh… WHAT?! That wasn't even a KI ATTACK!!"

Champa

"CAN HE JOIN MY UNIVERSE?!"

Whis

"Oh dear… this is going to terrify the other universes."

Marcarita

"So elegant. Like a breeze."

Vados

Smiled proudly.

"My Kai… you handled it beautifully."

Her voice was soft, full of warmth she didn't bother hiding.

---

Universe 11 Freezes

Dyspo's tail stiffened.

Toppo clenched his fists.

Kahseral swallowed hard.

Jiren whispered:

"…So this is the depth he hides."

Grand Priest's Excitement Grows

The Grand Priest's smile widened ever so slightly.

He moved a finger, adjusting his staff.

"A silent force. No energy output. No ripple. Utter mastery of transdimensional pressure."

His eyes glowed.

Vados… your choice impresses me more with every moment.

Zeno tugged his robe.

"That was cool! Do it again! Can he do it again?!"

The Grand Priest smiled.

"Oh, I assure you, Lord Zeno… he can do far more."

Then, to himself:

Our battle after the tournament… will be magnificent.

Kai Turns Calmly

Kai lowered his hand and continued walking.

As if nothing happened.

As if he hadn't just eliminated three entire universes with a gentle gesture.

No aura.

No emotion.

Just silence.

He walked past Goku.

Goku gawked at him.

"K-Kai… Son… you didn't even power up."

Kai smiled politely.

"I'm still hiding, remember?"

Goku shivered.

"That's the scary part!"

Vegeta stepped back.

"T-That… was suppression? THAT?!"

Kai nodded.

"Yes."

Vados giggled softly from above.

With Kai sitting calmly at the center of the arena, arms folded behind his head, the rest of the Tournament of Power unfolded almost exactly as it did in the canon—

Just with everyone constantly glancing nervously at the sitting monster in the middle.

Kale exploded with power, entering her uncontrollable berserk form.

Universe 6 panicked.

Goku jumped in.

Caulifla tried to calm her.

Cabba struggled to keep the battlefield stable.

Meanwhile…

Kai yawned.

"Hm. Cute."

Kale's rampage tore through the arena.

The shockwaves shook everyone except Kai—she didn't even dare look his way.

Instinctively, her rage avoided him like prey avoiding a predator.

Then the fusion happened—

Kefla blitzed the arena, nearly eliminating Goku.

Epic beams.

Ultra Instinct Omen awakening.

Kefla's final attack split the stage.

Kai?

Still sitting.

He actually leaned back a little.

"UI's awakening … nice."

Even Kefla, mid-fight, side-eyed him once with terror, then looked away and only focused on Goku.

Universe 3's Mech Fusion (Anilaza)

The giant monster formed.

It captured nearly the entire arena.

Everyone struggled.

17.

18.

Goku.

Vegeta.

Frieza.

All pushed back.

Anilaza's massive blast engulfed the stage—

Kai's hair fluttered in the wind.

"You're loud."

But he didn't move.

Not even a finger.

Anilaza instinctively tilted its attack away from Kai's seated position, redirecting toward literally anything else.

The entire Grand Priest's platform noticed.

Grand Priest smirked:

"Even without acting, he shapes the battlefield."

Vados whispered proudly:

"He does that."

---

Universe 4's Invisible and Minimized Fighters

They snuck.

They attacked.

They plotted.

They never went near Kai.

In fact, Damon and Gamisaras tried to sneak toward him once.

They froze mid-step.

Damon whispered:

"…I don't want to go near that one."

Gamisaras:

"Same. Let's find someone else."

They didn't even know why.

Pure instinct

Toppo awakened Hakai.

He overwhelmed Vegeta.

The stage shook.

Kai didn't move.

Toppo looked at him once.

Just once.

Kai opened an eye.

Toppo's aura quivered.

He looked away immediately.

Vegeta noticed and shouted mid-fight:

"Hey! Don't ignore me!! Fight ME!!"

Jiren Awakens

Goku pushed himself to the limit.

Spirit Bomb.

UI.

Jiren powered up fully for the first time.

The arena shuddered.

The void rippled.

The Gods stood in awe.

The Grand Priest spoke softly:

"His power stands atop mortals…"

His eyes shifted to Kai.

"…yet still below that one, who is not even participating."

Vados hid a smile behind her hand.

"Father, please… don't embarrass him."

---

Jiren vs Goku (Full Accelerated Canon)

Ultra Instinct Omen

then UI Mastered

the clash that shook all universes—

Kai watched.

And watched.

And watched.

He crossed one leg over the other.

"This is entertaining."

He never intervened.

Not even when Goku nearly fell.

Not even when Jiren powered up further.

Not even when the arena cracked apart.

He simply watched.

---

Jiren's Final Rage Outburst

When Jiren lost control, blasting the whole stage—

The blast curved around Kai like water around a stone.

Jiren noticed.

"…What ARE you?"

Kai stretched.

"Someone who's not fighting today."

Even Goku laughed:

"Hehehe… that's just Kai for ya!"

At the End of Tournament

17 wins.

Goku collapses then get up and

team up with Frieza to eliminating Jiren.

Kai stands up only after the Grand Priest announces the result.

He dusts off his pants.

"Alright. That was fun to watch."

Jiren (exhausted, glaring):

"We will face each other one day."

Kai (smirking):

"Sure. When you're ready."

Toppo:

"You terrify me."

Belmod:

"You terrify ALL of us!"

Vados (approaching him quietly):

"…You behaved well."

Kai winked.

"Well, I was told not to show off."

Vados blushed lightly.

The Grand Priest appeared behind her with a small smile.

"Oh, he will get his chance.

His real test begins soon."

Kai raised a brow.

"…Test?"

The Grand Priest's eyes gleamed.

"You'll see."

The universes restored. Peace returned… temporarily.

Because Zeno was practically bouncing in his seat.

"Now it's time! Now it's time! Now Kai fights the Grand Priest!"

The entire spectator arena shook as Zeno clapped excitedly. All gods of destruction straightened with terror. All angels stood still, their staffs trembling.

The Grand Priest descended calmly.

But when he turned toward Kai… He smiled.

A real, genuine, excited smile.

"Shall we?"

Kai cracked his neck and floated forward.

"Yeah. I've been waiting for this."

The Grand Priest raised one hand.

The entire Tournament arena reassembled instantly, purified from the void, reinforced with layers of divine fabric only angels understand.

"It will withstand… perhaps one of your strikes."

Gasps echoed across the spectator seats.

Champa: "One of his WHAT?!"

Beerus, sweating: "Father, don't joke like that…"

Vados watched silently, her fingers tightening around her staff.

The Grand Priest floated opposite Kai, hands behind his back.

"Show me, son-in-law-to-be… the power that made my daughter fall for you."

Kai smirked. "Oh? So you approve?"

"We'll see after the battle."

Everyone leaned forward.

The air froze.

The void stilled.

Even time held its breath.

The Grand Priest extended one finger toward Kai.

"Come."

Kai walked forward slowly… calmly… like he was taking a casual stroll in a park.

No aura. No glow. No pressure.

Just steps.

The Grand Priest activated his Angelic True Form—his body glowing with cosmic inscriptions, halo flaring, wings of pure divinity unfolding behind him.

"All angels," he commanded, "observe carefully."

Whis swallowed hard. Vados watched with unblinking eyes.

Kai stopped.

One meter from the Grand Priest.

"…Ready?"

"Always."

Kai simply tapped the Grand Priest's chest with one finger.

Tap.

No sound.

No explosion.

Just—

A thin line of blue divine blood slid down the Grand Priest's neck.

The entire spectator arena froze.

Every god, angel, warrior, and cosmic being stopped breathing.

The Grand Priest blinked.

Then touched the drop on his neck.

"…You wounded me."

He looked at his finger in awe.

"…with a single touch."

Zeno jumped to his feet.

"WOOOOOOW!!!"

The whole Omni Palace trembled with his excitement.

Beerus (screaming):

"ONE MOVE! ONE MOVE!! HE CUT THE GRAND PRIEST WITH ONE MOVE!!!"

Whis (voice cracking):

"H-How is that even… possible?!"

Champa:

"I WAS JOKING BEFORE—BUT THIS IS INSANE!!"

All Angels:

(stunned silent)

Vados

Her heart skipped. She whispered, barely audible:

"…Kai."

The pride. The fear. The affection. All mixed.

The Grand Priest wiped the blood away. The wound closed instantly.

He smiled gently.

"It seems…"

He bowed.

"…I truly do approve."

Kai blinked.

"Huh?"

"You have exceeded the highest realm yet again. Your potential eclipses every known ceiling of creation."

He placed a hand on Kai's shoulder.

"You are ready."

Kai raised a brow.

"For what?"

The Grand Priest leaned close, whispering:

"For the throne above the angels… and to protect my daughter in the storms that are coming."

Vados' eyes widened.

"Kai…?"

Kai smiled.

"Guess we have a lot to do."

Zeno leaped up.

"THAT WAS AMAZING!!! DO IT AGAIN!!!"

All gods screamed:

"NO!!! PLEASE NO MORE!!!"

Kai just laughed at their reactions.
