Chapter 33 - Too emotional

He paused, then added darkly: "And I'm going to need your help to make sure she doesn't pull anything else." Giyuu walked to his bed with a small smirk on his face. His head filled with naughty thoughts. Sanemi noticed the smirk and narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "What's that look for? Planning revenge?" He had no idea what was actually going through Giyuu's mind as he laid back down, staring at the ceiling with a mix of anger and embarrassment.

"This is your fault too, you know. You didn't stop her either." Giyuu move onto Sanemi. He jumped slightly when Giyuu moved, then scowled.

"What are you doing? Get off!" He tried to push Giyuu away but wasn't using his full strength, confused by the sudden proximity. "This isn't funny. We have bigger problems than your weird behavior." Giyuu leaned slightly closer, testing Sanemi's reaction. Sanemi's breathing became slightly uneven.

"Stop it. I mean it. We need to think about damage control, not whatever this is." His voice wavered between annoyance and something else he didn't want to acknowledge.

"This is so typical of you - acting weird when I'm trying to be serious." Sanemi's eyes darted around, looking anywhere but at Giyuu's face. His ears were turning red.

"Fine, stay there then. But don't expect me to talk to you about our plan." He crossed his arms defensively, trying to appear unaffected but clearly uncomfortable with the close contact and Giyuu's silence.

"You're being so damn weird... even weirder than usual." "Do you like me in this revealing maid outfit?" Sanemi's eyes widened in shock at the question. He sputtered for a moment.

"What?! No! Absolutely not! That's the most ridiculous thing you've ever said!" His face turned even redder, betraying him slightly. "Why would you even ask that? It's humiliating enough without you saying stupid stuff like that." Sanemi groaned and covered his face with his hands.

"That's it. I'm done. I'm going to bed. And you're sleeping on the floor tonight for asking that." He tried to push Giyuu off again, but there was less force behind it than before. His heart was racing, which he was determined to ignore. Giyuu pulled out the vibrator. Yes the one who Genya gifted them as a revenge. Sanemi's eyes widened even more at the sight of the vibrator, his mouth dropping open.

"Where did you- that's-" He reached to snatch it away, panic evident in his voice.

"Put that away! And why do you even have it? Genya gave it to us as a joke!" Giyuu held it just out of reach, a slight smirk returning. Sanemi was practically trembling now.

"This is so messed up. Give it back right now, Giyuu." He stood up abruptly, towering over Giyuu but still not making any real moves to retrieve it.

"We're not- we shouldn't- this is not appropriate!" Sanemi ran his fingers through his hair in frustration, clearly conflicted between his pride and something else.

"As your boyfriend, I demand you stop being weird about this. We're supposed to be plotting revenge on Shinobu, not... whatever this is becoming."

He lowered his voice, glancing at the door nervously.

"And if anyone finds out about that thing, we'll never hear the end of it." The room fell into another tense silence, broken only by Sanemi's muffled complaints. "Just... put it away and let me breathe. We'll talk about the revenge tomorrow. With actual plans." He peeked through his fingers to see if Giyuu was complying, his heart still racing from both embarrassment and an unwanted thrill.

Giyuu finally tucked the vibrator away but stayed seated on Sanemi's lap. Sanemi sighed deeply, giving up on his protests.

"You're impossible. And we're never speaking of this incident again. Ever."

He attempted to make himself smaller, trying to ignore the warmth of Giyuu's body against his. As night fell, Sanemi eventually fell asleep, too exhausted to keep fighting. Giyuu watched him for a while, then carefully got up to turn off the lights. He left Sanemi on the bed, knowing full well he'd wake up grumpy about it tomorrow. Sanemi unconsciously shifted in his sleep, unconsciously wrapping an arm around Giyuu. His frown softened slightly, though he would deny this in the morning. The moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting shadows across their faces. The maid outfit lay forgotten on the floor, a reminder of their chaotic day. Somewhere in the distance, Shinobu was probably laughing at their expense. Hours passed, and Sanemi stirred slightly, mumbling something about 'damn co-workers' in his sleep. Giyuu held him closer, feeling content despite their earlier argument. The next morning, Sanemi woke up first and froze when he realized their position. He tried to move away slowly, but Giyuu's grip tightened, causing him to curse under his breath. "Let go... we have to get ready for class..." Sanemi attempted to shake him gently, then harder.

"Giyuu! Wake up! We're going to be late!"

He glanced at the clock and groaned again, knowing they had overslept. The thought of facing Shinobu looking disheveled made him anxious. Defeated, Sanemi finally gave up and whispered.

"Fine, five more minutes. But then we're getting up and dealing with this mess." He reluctantly settled back down, pretending he wasn't enjoying the warmth. After those five minutes, Sanemi tried again. This time, he pinched Giyuu's cheek.

"Seriously! I'm not carrying you to class in that outfit." Giyuu stirred, but only to nuzzle closer. Sanemi's patience was wearing thin.

"I'll make breakfast if you get up right now. No maid duties."

He knew that would work - Giyuu loved his cooking, especially when he was trying to bribe him. Giyuu cracked one eye open, then smirked sleepily.

"Just if you do simmered salmon with daikon. With extra eggs?" Sanemi rolled his eyes but nodded. "Yes, extra eggs. Now move." Sanemi pushed himself up, looking exasperated but secretly pleased that Giyuu was negotiating instead of clinging."Deal. But you have to change out of that thing first."

He pointed at the maid outfit with distaste, already heading to the kitchen. As Sanemi started preparing breakfast, he heard rustling from their shared closet. He muttered to himself while cracking eggs. "He better not wear anything weird today too. One scandal is enough." Giyuu emerged in casual clothes, still looking smug. He sat at the table and watched Sanemi cook.

"You're making too much food. We should save some for later."

Sanemi shot him a look over his shoulder. "For what? Another night of tormenting me with Genya's gifts?" Giyuu chuckled and took out his phone, texting someone. Sanemi immediately became suspicious.
