It's 6'oclock in the morning and I have to be at work by 8am ,it's such a relive that my apartment is just fifteen minutes walk from my new apartment so I don't have to take a bus or take a cab I can walk to work and that thought alone makes me happy because I don't have to pay for bus fare or cab fare anymore "my life feels like a dream at this point I mutter" even if this isn't my dream but at least I'm one step towards achieving it.
I brush my teeth ,take my bath and after dressing up in a balck pencil gown and suit jacket ,I head towards the kitchen to make toasted bread and tea after eating I pick up my bag and leave for work.
Getting to work I meet some of my Coworkers muttering to themselves and staring at me like I just told them the sky is green, I don't mind their stares and just continue walking and I hear one of them saying audible enough for me to hear her"is she trying to seduce the boss wearing a dress like that just because she's got a great body"? , and another person adds by saying I wouldn't mind having a taste of her she looks damn hot and I can even mistake her for a celebrity and they all laugh .
Well I know that I'm beautiful but I never expected people to say it to my face in such a disrespectful manner , well I don't give a flying fuck so I just pretend like I heard nothing and head towards the elevator.
I get inside the elevator and greet everyone inside who also seems to be staring at my body and I make a mental note to always wear blazers instead of suit jackets.
Immediately I get into my office the telephone starts ringing as if the person was awaiting my arrival , "come to my office now" always so rude I mutter to myself and walks towards the CEO's office.
I knock and go inside after his approval for me to" come in".
Good morning Sir , I greet and he lifts his head from his desk as his gaze sweep over my body which makes me a little nervous and uncomfortable and I cough to notify him of my nervousness which he clearly understands because he stops staring at my body and points to one of the tables and tells me to sort out the files on the table in his office .
At first I thought I didn't hear him clearly but he looks at me like I'm stupid and says "Vanessa if there's something I hate it's repeating myself so do what I asked you to do, and stop acting like a lost puppy " . I'm not gonna lie but I am going to punch this handsome demon some day he's too rude , I roll my eyes and mutters something under my breath before walking to the table and start sorting out the files.
