Vanessa walks out of Edward's office in anger,"the audacity of that man to offer me a ride after making me stay overtime "Vanessa mutters to herself , now I have to get a cab since it's too late to take a bus home,speaking of home I now have a new apartment she squeals in joy "at least the job isn't that bad she thought to herself ".
EDWARD POV
Did that girl just turn down my offer of giving her a ride? He looks both annoyed and surprised at the same time.Well I'm not gonna lie she's fucking beautiful but she's not my type I like bad ass bitches and she looks too innocent and why the fuck Am I even concerned about her ,he thinks as he ruffles his hair.
I don't care about her or or so I think he mutters under his breath .
VANESSA
I alight from the cab and head to the gates and immediately I step inside my stepsister and stepmother are already outside with my luggages piled up outside,and they look like they've been waiting for me to return.
What is the meaning of this nonsense I say once I'm close enough that they can hear me, "oh you mean these luggages "Lucy says in her that annoying baby voice she uses whenever she's up to no good ,well since you have now grown wings to stay out so late we figured it's time for you to get out of our house Lucy says and the fact that her mother hasn't said anything since she's got back is alarming I don't bother arguing with her I just roll out my luggages because I know if I try to beg my stepmother to just let me spend the night she might slap me and I don't want that so I just booked a cab and it'll be arriving in ten minutes.

Fuck me is the first word that comes out of my mouth immediately I step into the apartment my new job gave me .The fact that my apartment is in the city and looks this exquisite shows that it expensive and probably too much for an ordinary assistant but fuck it I'll enjoy this while it lasts because my boss is obviously going to be a pain in the ass and I can't work with him forever not that I haven't dealt with worse situations in my life but being sn assistant isn't what I want for myself I just took the job because the benefits were too tempting and I had no other choice at the moment.
Well let me take a shower and have dinner I'm so tired that I can literally hear my bones cracking .
