Arken smiled at that and joined his hands as if in prayer, despite not believing in anything.
"Just work, work, work...Act: Extra."
[Skill Extra is activated - your presence will be undetected in any circumstance. You're like the background character nobody looks at, whose very existence is not worthy of...]
"Yeah fine, fine. I don't need all that bullcrap," he waved away the depressive description of being a nobody and worthless piece of trash that it was spouting.
"I tell you, this system is ruthless," he looked down at himself and saw a shimmer around his whole body that made his presence blurry.
"Som, Ker! Do you see me now?"
Neither of them reacted, continuing to do their chores diligently.
Arken felt a little pity but walked past them anyway.
He didn't know how much he had walked until he came across a ramp up to a light source.
He was panting from the upwards walk now but had merely slowed his pace instead of stopping.
The light came from a cave opening, which was the entrance to the huge cavern he had just walked out of a moment ago.

Outside, the morning air was pleasantly good to his senses as he walked down the path to what he could make out as a fortification.
"Bastards," he scoffed as he turned back to look at where he had come from. "They had me hiding in a cave? Seriously, how worthless was this temple?"
He finally shook his head and had a good look at his clothes. It was quite a stylish one.
A long overflowing coat or a robe with black cloth and red borders at the sides. It had a hood perched under his neck which he pulled over his head.
"It fits," he said and shrugged as he pocketed his hands in what he assumed were pyjamas for pants but in this world they probably were something else entirely.
The initial shock of being in this place was slowly washing over him, even leaving him breathless at some times but he didn't want to stop or wait.
"This is real, I better accept it until someone or something bad forces me to."
The forests cleared to give him a huge plain of grass and trees in scattered corners. Though not knowing where he was exactly, he could feel that he had some idea.
"Either a city, or a kingdoms entry."
On either side of him he saw the first citizens. And for some reason it didn't immediately register that he was seeing beastfolk walking amongst humans pushing their carts of goods towards the city boundaries.
"Holy hell, is that a Minotaur?"
He fell into pace with them. And heard them speaking.
"Rough journey this time of the year, but the trip is a necessity for my family," a young man carrying a sack spoke to an older man.
"Andluri has the old charm that even bigger kingdoms seldom carry," the old man gazed up at the nearing walls and sighed happily, "true wonder of our times."
I can actually understand them...so this is Andluri.
A giant gate came upon them and two guards were slowly letting the people in till a crowd formed up and they had to intervene every time to break it up.
Taking advantage of the commotion, Arken slipped past them all and entered the city of Andluri.
The first thing to greet him was a vast open area, paved with cobblestones and a tall fountain. It had hawkers and sellers around it in a circle as random folks strewn about it.
Behind the fountain and the grand open air space was the first buildings. Built of bricks, some of woodwork. Many were aging, others were in the process of being renovated.
The deeper he walked the more expansive the city became. Smaller ones gave way to bigger sturdier buildings, with gaps between them that served like alleys.
Then more towards the center stood a sprawling structure that was probably the highest and biggest of the buildings. Painted white and etched with sculptures all around it. It was a temple, maybe one of those that Som and Kor had mentioned.
He was about to walk in when his eyes fell on his side. Into an alley. Something strange or rather interesting was unfolding there.
