The Pathway Of Power

THE THREE PATHS OF POWER

1. AURA USERS

(The Path of Hardened Mana & Weapons)

What They Are

Aura Users are individuals who cannot learn magic—

either because:

• their mind cannot handle the "mathematics" of spellcraft,

• or their mana is naturally unsuitable for manipulating spells.

Rather than shaping mana into concepts, Aura Users harden their mana and convert it into a new force called Aura.

How Aura Works

• Mana is naturally soft, like water.

• But through intense physical training and special manuals (called Aura Techniques), the user forces their mana to compress, condense, and harden.

• When mana becomes dense enough, it changes nature and becomes Aura.

This hardened energy can be guided into:

• Swords

• Axes

• Spears

• Daggers

• Bows

• Hammers

• Shields

• Armor

• Or directly into the user's body (martial arts, assassins, monks)

Once someone awakens Aura, they can never use magic.

Aura Techniques (Grades)

To learn how to convert mana into aura, mortals were either:

• taught by gods, or

• invented their own systems.

These methods exist as manuals, scrolls, or secret cultivation styles.

Grades range from 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).

Higher-grade techniques produce:

• Stronger aura

• More stable combat forms

• Rare elemental attributes

Aura Attributes

Aura can manifest elements based on the user's nature or their technique:

• Fire

• Ice

• Earth

• Water

• Lightning

• Wind

• Shadow

• Light

• Metal

• Rare elements (Void, Space, etc.)

These attributes can be inherited by the user's offspring.

Why Aura Users Are Feared

Aura Users excel in:

• Physical strength

• Durability

• Close combat

• Weapon mastery

A skilled Aura User can split mountains or tear through armies.

2. MAGIC USERS

(The Path of Soft Mana & the Language of Spells)

What They Are

Magic Users are those whose mana stays soft, fluid, and responsive.

They cannot harden their mana like an Aura User—but they can command it with knowledge.

To cast magic, a mage must give mana meaning, using spells.

How Magic Works

Mana does not follow instinct. It needs:

• Words

• Symbols

• Intent

• Mathematical structure

Spells are essentially the language of mana.

A mage studies for years to learn:

• Magic theory

• Formulae

• Incantations

• Runes

• Circles

Only through this structured language can mana be manipulated.

This knowledge originally came from the God of Magic, said to be:

• The first being who ever communicated with mana

• The creator of the magical age

2A. SPIRIT CONTRACT MAGIC (Elves & Elven-Blooded)

Elves possess a second type of mana called spiritual mana.

What It Allows

Elves (and those with elven blood) can form contracts with Spirits, elemental beings born from the World Tree — a sacred entity worshiped by elves.

Spirits & Their Elements

Common elements:

• Fire

• Water

• Wind

• Earth

• Ice

• Lightning

Higher elements:

• Space

• Time

• Light

• Darkness

• Other mysterious origins

How Spirit Contracts Work

A spirit agrees to lend its elemental power in exchange for a portion of the user's mana.

The contract is binding and spiritual; humans without elven blood cannot do this.

This gives the user:

• Strong elemental attacks

• Elemental protection

• The ability to merge their magic with spirit power

3. MAGIC WARRIORS (DUAL USERS)

(The Rare Path of Flexible Mana)

Magic Warriors are extremely rare.

Their mana can become:

• Soft → for magic

• Hard → for aura

This flexibility is almost never seen.

Strengths

• They can cast spells and imbue weapons with aura.

• Their unpredictability makes them terrifying opponents.

• They excel in both long-range and close-range combat.

The Downside

To advance their rank, they must level up both:

• Their aura

• Their magic

This makes their path slower, but their peak is far stronger than normal fighters or mages.

Magic Warriors in high ranks are legendary and deeply respected.

4. DIVINE POWER

(The Secret Path of the Gods)

Mortals do not understand Divine Power.

But ancient myths whisper:

• Every god was once mortal.

• They ascended when their mana evolved beyond magic and aura.

• Divine Power is the origin of both paths.

• Only those who master fate, nature, or the world's laws can awaken it.

It is not taught.

It is not inherited.

It is earned by reaching the absolute limits of existence.
