Chapter 9 - Lord Slug

After finally finishing improving my spirit Nova technique I break out in a cold sweat suddenly remembering something before letting out a curse,"damn it I can't believe I was so stupid I totally forgot"I practically yelled."I forgot I could heal now like Dende I totally wasted all my senzu beans when I could've used them against Frieza by giving them to others to use making him think we could all heal and preventing him from targeting us one on one from it like he did Dende."I let out a fustered sigh at my oversight before pushing it to the back of my mind knowing it's to late to do anything about it now the Z fighters should have 1 or 2 when they arrive at least I'll take them from them and when I run out Frieza will think I'm just talking to them holding them while they die instead of healing them it's like getting a free heal in battle that could be the difference between losing and winning if it's someone strong like Raditiz who would just get a zenkai and be even stronger.I relax letting out a deep breath believing that Frieza shouldn't be a big problem anyway even if he gets a boost from Towa and Mira with my current power let it should be enough but I can help but feel uneasy about everything like it can't just be that easy.I think of how I can continue to improve myself and my normal battle plan the only solution I'm able to come up with for the time being though is to just hone my battle instincts and refine the basics til they become instincts and I react naturally it'll either help me unlock ultra instinct in the far future or make it stronger when I do or both but I need something more immediate.I keep running all the advantages I have in my head knowing my life is only going to get harder as I'm forced to go through hellish enemies way stronger then they were originally or just whole new scenarios and my biggest advantage is that being a legendary super Saiyan I basically have unlimited energy when I fight unless I just go all out and use it all at once like I do when I use spirit Nova as long as I don't do that my ki replenishes so fast I can basically just keep fighting forever.I wish I could store energy and use it all at once somehow but that doesn't seem possible as far as I've seen in this world if it was I'm super people later down the line would utilize a way to do that strong figures like Whis or Beerus.Thinking this just pissing me off more though reminding me I used all my senzu beans that was like a free ki refill if I didn't use it as a healing method and I resolved to learn how to grow them when I get back to Earth having the Earth's production of them double having both me and Korin grow them the others wouldn't be interested.I stand up and just as I do I hear a loud piercing sound shooting through the sky and I look up to see two spaceships with a familiar logo on them.They land and I immediately fly over to see them landing in front of them as they open out stepping Goku and Gohan from one and the Z fighters in the other.Seeing this I immediately get worried wondering were Bulma was having told her about going to Namek a very long time ago before the saiyan's even arrived when I took my spaceship from her and seeing as Krillin and Gohan are already here means she's not coming with them so I decide ill just ask when I hear another spaceship landing a bit slower then the others.Seeing it I'm mildly surprised as I recognize it to be the crusher core ship I guess even with all that time beforehand Bulma still didn't have enough to dismantle all the ships I gave her fully researched them and build a total of 4 ships for everyone but that's ok as long as she here means I don't have to constantly deal with the other saiyan I can stay somewhere nice where they aren't gonna constantly ask me to train them.Goku and Gohan are much stronger having been training together since Goku was revived and using the gravity chamber for themselves now that the Z fighters stopped.Gokus power level is now 200 thousand and Gohans is 300 thousand having more potential then Goku and having already been far stronger then him when his training started.Goku sensing I got even stronger rushes up to me wanting to ask me to spar when I place my hand on his face faster then he can react and unlock his potential making his power level equal to Vegeta at 2 million.At first he's amazing at how strong he became next he's disappointed at the cheap power up that he didn't earn but the others seeing this are all excited asking if I can do the same to them.I unlock Gohan's next boosting him to 3 million something strange happens when I do it to the Earthlings though they all gain a power level of 75 thousand having way less potential then Saiyan's.I stop when I get to Piccolo though sensing his power and smiling his power level already being 170 million meaning he must've fused with Kami it would be even more when he fuses with nail being as strong as a super Saiyan after the 3 years of training they had for the androids in the future meaning after he fused with nail his power level will likely be around 200 million.I am extremely happy seeing this though as this mean I have a new sparring partner comparable to Raditiz when he's in great ape form If I unlock Piccolo's potential then essentially doubling my attribute drops.Without hesitation I unlock Piccolo's potential giving him a power level of 1.7 billion being higher then anyone else til I use Ikari or Raditiz uses great ape then I immediately tell Piccolo im gonna spar with him and Raditiz everyday not giving him a choice in the matter.I look around and see the senzu beans tied to Gokus waste and I quickly snatch them from him promising myself to treasure them and no misuse them like I did my last bit.Goku is surprised when I take them but isn't really against it thinking that they're safer with me anyways and believing were all allies til Frieza is dealt with at least.I see Bulma standing in the opening of her spaceship smiling at me and I smile back flying over to her and closing the spaceship cutting is off from the rest of the group this is a surprise to them as they've never seen me talk to Bulma before being a little worried about her.Bulma now alone with me jumps onto me with a hug excitedly telling me how much she missed me annoying her while all alone in space and that she came in a spaceship alone because she didn't feel comfortable being with anyone else for the duration of coming here which didn't fully add up because she was in the original meaning something must've changed about her to make her different meaning I obviously have had some effect one her.I tease her making fun of her for clearly missing me making her blush and deny it playfully punching me before I tell her,"I missed your too."Her blush depends as she looks away and mumbles back,"maybe I missed you a little"before I wrap my arms around her hugging her close causing her to become light headed not use to me doing this before I whisper into her ear,"I take it you'll be my queen then."She becomes so red that I start to worry she'll become a cherry after hearing my words not giving me a reply as I give her a smile.Finally she exhales a deep breath before telling me that she will if I want her to be.I look at her seriously and tell her there's one thing she has to know first before anything else and that's that now that I'm the King of the saiyan's I can't just let my race die out I'm in charge of repopulating the entire Saiyan race meaning I'll need a lot of wives.She grows extremely red again at my words then angry at first hearing I want multiple wife's but hearing why she can't stay mad at me for it before telling me she'll still be my queen.They she pulls a complete 180 on me looking at me and asking,"so do I include all your other queens in my future wishes"Putting her hands a couple inches front of her chest causing me to blush at her implications for her wishes remembering she wished for a bigger butt once hilariously.Seeing my reaction she smiles at me before kissing me and saying,"I'll take that as a yes husband so let's get married when we get back to Earth."I agree happily before she turns around to leave before I pull her back taking her into the bedroom with me as she screams in surprise.The Z fighters stare on at the spaceship after I entered wondering what I could be talking to Bulma about having all been waiting for me to exit for the last 30 minutes but I don't come out til the next day The spaceship door opens and I appear in the door way thing a rope I keep around my waist back in place Krillin seeing this asks me what the hell happened before I slap him telling him to be quiet Bulma was sleeping thinking back to the destroyed bedroom clothes lying all over the floor and Bulma now in a robe asleep on the bed I close the spaceship door wondering if Trunks will be born early now or what will happen before flying out to get Nail.I explain to Nail hes gotta merge with Piccolo when Nail heard this however he was greatly against it but Guru told him to listen to me knowing he needed to in my memories and Nail reluctantly accepts.I fly Nail to Piccolo telling him to merge at first he refuses before I lie telling him he's far to weak to fight Frieza still but not believing me or believing me but not caring and believing he's stronger then me he still refuses before I use Ikari and Kaio ken and beat him so one sidedly he gives in and merges with Nail.Piccolos new power level is an even 2 billion and just as I congratulate him on them there is a loud rumbling slowly getting louder as the ground shakes violently looking up it appears to be a giant meteor about to hit Namek.I remember however this is how Slug arrived I don't know what he's doing here on Namek now though but he shouldn't be an issue I think as he's way weaker then Frieza and I think the others can manage him as his ship lands and I realize just how massive it is and know Bulma is gonna love it.His giant spaceship opens revealing only him seeing this I think his minions would've been useless anyway but there is something important I take note of actually two things Slug is young he must've been brought here from another timeline by Towa I think and he is holding a tree of might fruit.I sigh seeing this and believing it's probably the version of him from xenoverse before I wonder why the hell there's no time patrollers is it because I'm a natural anomaly just by existing so my timeline is just on its own or what talk about drawing the short stick I think to myself.Lord Slug let's out a manic laughter yelling,"home sweet home how I have longed to come back and destroy you."I immediately hear a voice in my head after this recognizing it's the great elder Guru he tells me about the past crisis on Namek caused by the super Namekians of which Slug is the last of and tells me I need to quickly stop him or he'll grow to strong to be stopped by anyone.Hearing this my eyes narrow not remembering Slug being able to grow stronger before Slug yells something in ancient Namekian tongue and suddenly the sky darkens seeing this I can't help but think this is utter bullshit that he shouldn't be able to do something like this.In the next moment the sky is filled with walls and screams ghost like figures of past namekians seem to fly into Slug empowering him shooting his power to 80 million before he bites the tree of might fruit getting a power level of 100 million.Seeing this my worry disappears sensing he's still weak but will pose a problem for everyone besides me, Piccolo and Raditiz.I look at Piccolo beside me telling him to not get involved it's better for the others to grow stronger through battle and that he can protect them from death but don't harm Slug this is their battle.Piccolo agrees with me on this though relatively easily just wanting to make sure no one will die.I sense Raditiz heading this way and he eventually lands next to me seeing this I tell him the same thing I told Piccolo and tell him that if he does end up fighting Lord Slug for some reason he can't use his great ape form because we can't risk his tail being cut off before we fight Frieza.Eventually Goku and Vegeta land on the plains in front of Slug preparing to face him as Slug laughs at them calling them pathetic hearing this Vegeta scoffs flying at Slug launching a barrage of ki blast onto him til there's enough dust to bury a mountain.The smoke clears and Slug is standing there looking unscathed extending his arm and slamming Vegeta into the ground.Goku seeing this shouts,"Kaio ken 20x" rushing in to help Vegeta.Goku flies up to Slug launching a power ki blasts in his face and then sweeping his legs causing him to fall before he drives an elbow into Slugs head driving him into the ground face first.Slug rises back up now with a frown on his face saying,"I wasn't expecting that not bad but it's the only chance you'll get"before laughing a mouth beam at Goku blowing him away Goku being ok still having the Kaio ken and being able to cross his arms to block in time but still receiving heavy damage.Piccolo says to me,"We have to stop this Slug is toying with them they aren't strong enough to stop him" before stepping forward ready to intervene.I place a hand in front of him and tell him,"no just watch Slug is nothing compared to Frieza if they can't beat him now then there training was for nothing they aren't ready to give up or they'd ask for our help."Piccolo yells back,"and what if they don't they're to prideful even if they know they'll lose."I turn to him with a smirk answering,"then they'll die."
