Chapter 8 - Improving ourselves

I walk up to Vegeta first knowing he'll be against getting a cheap power up so better do it before he knows what I'm up to and I place my hand on him head this worries him slightly not knowing what I'm doing and acting out of character before sudden his power rises.After his previous zenkai and training he reached a power level of 200 thousand before we reached Namek now having a power level of 2 million from having his potential unlocked.He let's out a laugh feeling incredible clenching his fist open in shut seeing this I turn my attention to Nappa who actually seems more eager for this normally this would be out of character for a Saiyan but Nappa plans on giving up fighting after Frieza is dead now becoming older and losing an arm and seeing the man he raised lose his position as prince as really affected him and seeing how little Vegeta valued him but he's eager to get stronger before Frieza.His power was 150 thousand after his zenkai and training now after I unlock his potential it rising to 1.5 million.Finally I saved the best for last as I turn to look at Raditiz the one that was with me since I came back from death the first change that wasn't supposed to happen and a hope to me that I can do this my friend my loyal subject my most trusted ally Raditiz.He bows to me as I place my hand on his head his power doubled from the zenkai he got before and then rose once again helping Vegeta and Nappa train his power level being 350 thousand as it rises to 3.5 million.My power level after the fight with the great apes before and a zenkai I got became what it was before when I was a great ape from all the power attributes I got before now being 6 million.Its pretty close to Raditiz when you think about it even though I'm nearly twice as strong as it still it just goes to show how busted potential unlocking was even though they all got a smaller boost then Gohan got in the original.Over the next couple of days I put that new power of there's to use as I have Raditiz train to control his great ape form and I spar with Nappa while he is in his.You might be wondering how this is possible on a planet with 3 suns that never experiences night well it's because of the power ball technique you don't need a full moon to trigger the transformation how it works is a rapid boost in a Saiyan's blood cells artificially making the mind and body believe it's be exposed to more s cells triggering the body to try to evolve and expand to contain that power.If your wondering why that doesn't force them to just become super Saiyans then that's because it doesn't multiply the s cells any at all actually just makes your body believe that they are rapidly increasing from the regular increase in blood cells instead so it never meets the actual s cell requirements for a super Saiyan transformation all this shows just how crazy power the body of a Saiyan is to push itself to evolve under pressure.Thats also why Legendary super Saiyans slowly grow stronger through battle the genetic mutation in a legendary super Saiyan causes different cells then s cell but an entirely different yet similar cell the key to the legendary super Saiyan bloodline it's like if the s cells were much more potent and there were way more of them constantly increasing with your power pushing your body to new levels allowing them to grow stronger rapidly through battle as there body evolves to handle the power in those cells.To do this the legendary super Saiyan has to have an extremely durable body unlike a normal Saiyan there body being so durable that it doesn't need to transform into a great ape instead being able to use Ikari.The body of a legendary super Saiyan is so adaptive that the body remembers what it was like to transform into a great ape allowing the legendary super Saiyan to tap into that power at will meaning they don't need a full moon to use Ikari after becoming a great ape before.Going off this I begin to wonder how fast my body can adapt to super Saiyan once I become one how must faster I'll master it then the others and how fast my body will become use to Kaio ken allowing me to use higher versions of it.From what I can tell with the kaio ken though is that it's doesn't trick my mind or body into producing any more cells to boost my power no instead any race can use it meaning the technique must focus on explosively pushing ki through the ki channels temporarily causing them to expand letting out more ki but leaving a toll on yourself and draining you faster meaning my body can't adapt to it to make it more busted.This also explains why if you use to high of a multiplier of the kaio ken your body has trouble controlling power and properly using ki correctly like when Goku couldn't use instant transmission to go where he wanted in the original after over using it.It also explains why your body expands and contorts painful if overused like Goku did his ki was use to rushing out through the expanding ki channels and after exiting the kaio ken the ki still explosively tried to exited the body meaning you really will blow yourself up if you go way to far.I tell Raditiz my theory on the kaio ken actually I tell them all it because I plan on teaching them all and I figured it could help increase the pace they learn it because if they can use Kaio ken they can give me bigger attribute drops.Raditiz wants to learn all my techniques but he has to focus on controlling his great ape form first as it should be faster then learning the Kaio ken but Nappa and Vegeta can begin working on it Vegeta especially having made multiple moves in the original like the big bang attack and final flash and having picked up on how to sense ki just by finding out the Earthlings could so I expect him to make the fastest progress on mastering between Raditiz and Nappa.Vegeta also has more time to master it because I don't spare with him everyday like I do Nappa because he can't become a great ape making his drops less so I only have time to focus on Raditiz and Nappa with so much time limited in the day Vegeta trains to use it day and night wanting to improve and grow stronger hating being second to any and right now he's 3rd being weaker then me and Raditiz even 4th if you count Nappa when he's a great ape.As for Raditiz he is having a hard time controlling the great ape form I spar with Nappa in his great ape form when Raditiz tries to master his but Raditiz is a different case I beat him til he can't move Everytime leaving him as a great ape lying on the ground still conscious but unable to gain control of the form.This means Raditiz goes through my senzu beans that I only have 6 of getting a zenkai every day from the brutal beating only comparable to when I beat Vegeta.It take Raditiz 6 days to master his great ape form meaning I run out of senzu beans but it's worth it his power level now being a massive 224 million now double from each zenkai and mine being 300 million.Now that my power level is 100x the minimum to become a super Saiyan I try to gather ki in the center of my back to see if I can unlock it like Caulifa but yeah nothing happens.Turns out in the timeline it's not that easy to become a super Saiyan which is both good in bad good being it's not going piss me off remembering how Goku,future Trunks, Vegeta,and Gohan all struggled to become a super Saiyan meanwhile Caulifa did it just by gathering her ki in a single spot on her back why you my wonder I don't know maybe this timeline makes more sense and s cells don't magically work like that.This makes me concerned as to how Goten and kid trunks will become super Saiyan more so Goten as I believe Trunks will manage to get pissed enough if he's forced to train in a gravity room everyday being called a weakling no matter how hard he pushes himself.I leave to go find the Namekian villages telling Raditiz to practice the Kaio ken now as I find the villages one by one and get the dragon balls and go back to the grand elder and get the last one I put them all in an empty capsule.This mean Frieza can't get them unless he goes through me and that no one can change history somehow and have him end up with them unless they go through me first also that I can get my wishes at least 3 of them I'll probably have to come back to Namek for the rest later but I can't use them til Frieza is here on Namek or else he might blow up the planet Immediately if he finds out they turned to stone.I really can't think of any flaws in this plan not even the dragon radar can pick them up now.While the others are training to use Kaio ken now I think on how else to improve myself besides getting attributes eventually coming up with the idea to improve my spirit Nova my ultimate move.Ive tried in the past to boost how fast I gather the natural energy around me but I can't increase it anymore then it already is but before I didn't have all the moves I do now.I experiment using the multi form technique rememberinh that the clones charge it up to what I can a lot slower but that was 1 clone doing it the last time I tried and that was mostly all nature energy sense if condensed most of its own in an instant like me.so 1 clone with a 4th of my power took it 4 times as long to get it to my level so what it 4 clones use it simultaneously what would results be equal to my own but with 4 times as much nature energy.I try it out first on my own paying close attention to how powerful I can make it in 30 seconds then I use the multiform technique making 3 more versions of myself and use it gathering for 30 seconds and merging back to 1 the results are good it's the same amount of power I was able to do but even stronger having 4 times the amount of nature energy as before.This has a big weakness though I can only use 4 clones and each have a 4th of my power meaning anyone strong enough to make me use spirit Nova can easily beat them once my power is split into a 4th unless they are distracted by someone else.I continue thinking of how I can improve my move before thinking of Krillin's destructo disc and thinking how broken it is before it reminds me of another move from an anime I saw in my past life called Naruto.It reminds me a lot of his rasengun wind shruiken and I remember the key to destructive power was the speed it spun out being able to slice oppents in half like the destructo disc and the nature chakra affinities he could use with it and the more chakra he used the more powerful it was.I think of how I can incorporate any of that chakra is like ki and I basically use all my ki for spirit Nova already I think of how it would change with different nature's though and I know right now I can't do that and no other moves in Dragonball do but I remembered one that was firey like a beam of fire.It was extremely fast too but it was from a non canon character so I wouldn't be able to unless they exist in this timeline and it would have to be after Frieza.I think of the last thing speed and I remember the hearing the more speed something has the more force a condensed beam is already fast though it's the same size as the Kamehameha wave but much faster having been condensed but I think I could still improve the speed further.The spirit Nova isn't disc like the destructo disc but I can still make the ki beam spin probably like a drill cutting through the air I remember Goku controlling a Kamehameha to follow Raditiz and it being super difficult and I remember Goten controlling a Kamehameha to miss the world tournament crowd.In theory it would be a lot easier to just make a beam twist and spin after launching then it would be to change the direction it's moving in so I begin trying to do that to my spirit Nova.At first it spins but really slowly so it doesn't really make a difference I want to make it spin like a drill I try not to just make my ki spin but always twisting me hand abruptly whenever I launch it which I noticed did really help but it's still not what I want.Ki can be manipulated differently then Chakra is in Naruto I think remembering Naruto has to manually spin his rasengun til he masters it more like Minato and I think of how Minato didn't have to spin his and why it's because he began by making the chakra moved to begin with as he formed it and just kept it up to maintain it.Realizing this I think I over complicated things because Krillin Destructo disc did the same thing with ki already he doesn't have to spin it he just manipulates his ki in a spinning manner to begin with not after you release it.So next I try to spin the spirit Nova before I laugh it as it forms the moment it comes from my hands it works it quickly becomes more powerful much more quicker then before making it even faster then it already was to charge at least for someone as strong as me if the enemy was strong I could just keep charging it however long I need because condensing ki continues to raise the power like the special beam cannon and it also constantly gains more ki gaining more power from nature like the spirit bomb now that I incorporated spinning the beam it just becomes even stronger faster on top that.I remember my theory on the Kaio ken and I think if I'm right about the power exploding out like a rushing river when using it then if I use Kaio ken while forming it spinning it from the beginning it should spin way faster with Kaio ken spinning it twice as fast Kaio ken times 20x spinning it 20x as fast so I test out my theory.I use it in base then with Kaio ken times 20x obviously it's much stronger with Kaio ken but I noticed it really is much faster making it more then just 20x stronger and I think Ikara lets me use more energy to multiplying my power so Ikari with Kaio ken should still have to same effect the base Kaio ken just rushing my power out faster it's still the same amount as when it's 20x Kaio ken so it should be the same speed too.I test that out next and the results are as expected seeing this I let out a smile knowing that I'm not hopeless against stronger enemies anymore.
