"Hannah will love it here, won't she?"
Arthur sighed as he looked around the plaza they entered. Even the parking lot they passed through before was decorated with banners, garland, and papier-mache animals. The plaza, obviously, was even more vibrant and elaborate. There were tunnels and mini-mazes of artificial flowers and ivies, additional chairs shaped like logs, and topiaries that Arthur was still trying to figure out whether they were real or not.
"Yeah," Eugene couldn't even pretend to be nonchalant inside the festive atmosphere. "She'd want to dress like those kids, too."
Eugene gestured at a group of kids around eight to ten years old who had just dashed past them, wearing something that made them look like little woodland elves. That was already the third group they encountered, each was running from the parking lot toward the stage area.
And each time, Arthur couldn't help but imagine his daughter wearing those medieval-looking, fantasy-like clothes.
