Eugene's favorite thing about festivals was always the food section. For some reason, there was always weird stuff getting thrown in the mix of all the delicacies.
On the other hand, hidden masters also suddenly appeared to provide the masses with traditional food they wouldn't bother to make on any other day because of how complicated and time-consuming it was.
Festival foods were attractions on their own, in Eugene's opinion. Sometimes, he would find animals--and animal parts--that he never thought were edible, being served in all kinds of styles. It was the best buffet in the world, as long as he had enough money to spend.
Coincidentally, someone had signed himself up to be Eugene's wallet for the day.
