Chapter 5 - Kratos fury

Chapter 5 :nami's Cry

---

After hearing Kratos speak, everyone fell silent—shocked and completely dumbfounded. The strength of the gods he mentioned… it was overwhelming. These beings were truly gods.

“Hey… do you know what happened to Olympus?” Usopp asked, his knees trembling.

“Sometimes it’s better not to know,” Kratos answered.

Usopp nearly collapsed from fear.

“The memories I have aren’t pleasant,” Kratos continued. “Olympus… it’s in ruins. And the souls of this world can’t reach Tartarus anymore.”

Everyone froze. Who could imagine that the place considered heaven itself had been destroyed?

“So your goal… is to restore Olympus?” someone asked.

“Yes. Olympus wasn’t only the home of gods—it was also the passage for souls. If a soul can’t enter Tartarus in time, it begins to fade and can never reincarnate.”

His words cast a dark shadow over the group. Those who had lost loved ones felt it the most—Nojiko thinking of Bell-mère, Zoro of Kuina, and Usopp of his mother.

If Olympus never returned, the souls of the people they loved would vanish forever. True death was the death of the soul.

After walking for several minutes, they saw villagers gathering weapons—guns, farming tools, anything they could use. They were ready to fight for their village and for what Arlong had done to Nami.

Seeing this, Nojiko joined them. Among the villagers was Genzo, the sheriff of Cocoyasi Village and a father figure to Nami and Nojiko—the man who raised them after Bell-mère died.

The villagers began marching toward Arlong Park, shouting.

Hearing the noise, Nami—who had been strangled by Arlong—pushed him away and ran toward the village. The fish-men laughed at her helplessness.

Nami’s eyes filled with tears as she heard their laughter and saw the villagers approaching. She wiped her face and tried to convince them not to fight.

“No, Nami. You’ve suffered enough. We know what you’ve been doing for us. Don’t worry.”

With Genzo leading them, the villagers charged toward Arlong Park.

Everything Nami had worked for was falling apart. She collapsed to her knees. Seeing Arlong’s tattoo on her shoulder, she stabbed it repeatedly while memories of Bell-mère’s death and Arlong’s cruelty flashed in her mind.

As she cried, Luffy arrived. Nami was shocked—why were they risking their lives for her? She tried to push him away, but finally broke.

“Luffy… help me,” she sobbed.

Without saying a word, Luffy placed his hat on her head and walked toward Arlong Park, the rest of the Straw Hats following.

Kratos watched quietly. He had prepared himself, but anger still rose in him. Nami’s life had been full of tragedy—seeing her mother die at ten, becoming a thief just to survive. She must have suffered countless beatings.

**Ding! A new quest has arrived.**

**Main Story:** Defeat the Arlong Pirates (0/1)

**Side Quest:** Kill the marine who stole Nami’s money (0/1)

**Rewards:** 10 weekly lottery spins, Digimon Adventure main eggs

Kratos grinned. With or without a quest, he would destroy the Arlong Pirates.

“Hey, you’re Nami, right?”

Hearing the unfamiliar voice, Nami turned and saw a bare-chested man with pale white skin, a red tattoo, and a handsome but intimidating face.

“Who are you?” she asked, gripping her blood-stained knife.

“I’m the man you rescued at sea. Your new crew member. I’m Kratos.”

Nami remembered him, though he looked completely different now.

Seeing her confusion, Kratos decided not to explain further.

“Nami. If I take care of those fish-men… promise me you’ll stay with the Straw Hats,” he said.

He didn’t wait for her answer and walked toward Arlong Park, catching up with Luffy.

“Luffy,” Kratos called. “They say Arlong has three officers. You take Arlong. Zoro, take the one with eight swords. Sanji, take the muscular fish-man. Usopp, handle the one who spits water. I’ll deal with the rest.”

The crew nodded and continued forward.

At Arlong Park’s gate, angry villagers marched. Hearing the noise, Arlong just smirked and ordered his subordinates to handle them—he planned to use the villagers to control Nami even more. He would never let her go; her talent in making sea charts surpassed even the fish-men.

Johnny and Yosaku tried to stop the villagers, telling them to wait—because if Zoro and the Straw Hats were here, Arlong would fall. It wasn’t confidence. It was trust.

Suddenly, a murderous aura swept across the area. Johnny and Yosaku turned and saw the Straw Hats and Kratos approaching—Kratos radiating a red aura. The Spartan Rage was forming.

Unable to hold back, Kratos leaped forward.

With the Blades of Chaos igniting, he swung once, slicing through Arlong Park’s gate—reducing it to ash.
