The luxurious penthouse living room—once a symbol of wealth, glory, and pride—was now silent.
In front of the massive floor-to-ceiling window, a black-haired girl in a sports tank top stood frozen, staring at the oversized television mounted on the wall.
Videl's body trembled uncontrollably.
"No…"
Her lips quivered.
"It… it can't be…"
"This has to be a TV show… right?"
Her voice cracked.
"Special effects… it has to be…"
Her eyes filled with tears.
"My father…"
"How could he possibly die…?"
The man who always bragged.
The man who loved showing off.
The man who loved her more than anything.
Dead.
No.
Videl clenched her fists.
She couldn't sit here and wait for the world to end.
A name surfaced through the chaos in her mind.
There was still someone.
Someone who could defeat that kind of monster.
It wasn't her father who defeated Cell back then.
It was Gohan's master.
Loren.
The man who had crushed Cell with overwhelming strength.
Videl knew where Loren lived.
Gohan had taken her there before—a villa near Capsule Corporation.
If she could reach Loren…
If she could ask him to act…
Then that pink monster would die.
This was her last hope.
Capsule Corporation District
A small Capsule Corporation aircraft slammed down roughly onto the neatly trimmed lawn in front of Loren's villa.
The landing gear carved deep scars into the grass.
The cockpit hadn't even fully powered down before the canopy opened.
Videl jumped out, nearly tripping as she sprinted toward the front door.
She slammed her fists against it desperately.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"Open the door!"
"Please—open the door!"
"Mr. Loren!"
"Save everyone!"
"Please—save this world!"
The door opened silently.
But it wasn't Loren.
A blonde woman with blue eyes, dressed in simple grey loungewear, leaned calmly against the doorframe.
Android 18.
"Loren isn't here."
Her voice was cold and flat.
"He's… not here?"
Videl felt her legs give out.
She stumbled forward, gripping Android 18's arms tightly.
"Then you—please!"
Her voice broke.
"That monster—Majin Buu—he's destroying everything!"
"My father… my father was killed trying to protect people!"
Tears streamed down her face.
"I know."
Videl froze.
Android 18's gaze drifted toward the distant skyline, black smoke rising endlessly.
"But I'm not his opponent."
She looked back at Videl.
"Loren will deal with that monster when he returns."
"What you can do now is hide."
"Don't throw your life away."
She stepped aside.
"Come in."
Videl hesitated, then nodded weakly and entered the villa.
Android 18 closed the door behind her.
West City – Live Surveillance Feed
The television no longer showed a broadcast.
Instead, fragmented surveillance footage flickered across the screen.
Super Buu hovered above the ruins of West City.
He yawned.
Bored.
Then he raised his hand.
Pink beams shot out like executioner blades.
Buildings dissolved silently.
Streets vanished.
Survivors were erased before they could even scream.
Videl covered her mouth.
Then—
One of the screens shook violently.
A blinding golden-white flash erupted.
A figure appeared in front of Super Buu.
"That… that's—"
Videl's breath hitched.
She recognized the face.
Gohan.
But also…
Goku.
It was both of them.
Super Buu stopped.
He tilted his head, eyes narrowing.
"You…"
A cruel grin spread across his face.
"You look fun."
The fused warrior ignored him.
He closed his eyes.
The next instant—
BOOM—!!!
A terrifying aura exploded outward.
White ki flames shot into the sky like a volcanic eruption, tearing a massive hole through the black clouds above.
The Earth trembled.
Oceans shook.
Mountains groaned.
Super Buu's grin froze.
For the first time—
Fear flickered in his eyes.
This power…
Was wrong.
Too strong.
The warrior opened his eyes.
Cold.
Focused.
"Majin Buu."
"Your game…"
"Ends here."
He vanished.
No wind.
No sound.
Super Buu's instincts screamed.
He punched backward wildly.
Nothing.
"Looking for me?"
The voice came from above.
Super Buu snapped his head upward.
The warrior hovered directly over him, looking down like a god judging an insect.
"You—!"
Rage exploded.
Super Buu opened his mouth wide.
A massive pink beam fired upward, swallowing the sky.
BOOM—!!!
West City shook violently.
But when the smoke cleared—
The warrior was still there.
Unmoved.
One hand raised.
He had blocked it.
Effortlessly.
Super Buu stared in disbelief.
"How…"
"…how is that possible…?"
For the first time since his birth—
Majin Buu felt fear.
