The heavy silver spoon made a soft clink as Roxy set it down on the shiny dining table.
She looked at the six massive, dangerous men standing in her dining room. They had just spent the entire day tearing apart the worst criminals in New York City, and they looked incredibly proud of themselves. But Roxy just crossed her arms over her chest, trying to look very serious.
"You guys didn't have to do all that," Roxy scolded them gently, shaking her head. "We have a giant mountain. We have a huge gate and dozens of guards. We could just live in total solitude and hide away. You didn't have to go pick fights with the human mafia!"
Ren smiled softly, pulling his chair out to sit down next to her. "We didn't pick fights, my sweet bunny. We just cleaned up the trash. And I promise you, we did it in complete secret. The human police think the criminals just turned on each other."
