Elias wanted Granny to answer all his mysterious questions.
But on the outside, he was still smiling faintly, remembering Clara.
He couldn't let go of her even in his mind.
As he was walking , he rubbed his chest gently with romantic feelings and took out something out of his pocket.
His pocket was filled with Clara's passport-size photos.
She gave it to Elias during lunch in memory of him.
He admired each and every bit of that photo as he walked home.
The sunlight shone upon him was very soft as he enters the house.
The smell of dinner reached him before he stepped inside.
He thought of nothing but how the food tastes like.
He even forgot about the questions he was about to ask to her.
He was floating towards the direction of food while Granny was serving food to Elias' Father.
Elias was amazed and shouted "Daddy!...Where were you the whole time?"
Granny asked Elias to join them and Elias was ready.
His father kissed Elias and blessed him with a happy face.
Granny served Elias and he was about to ask those questions.
Elias said to granny, "Today I had that strange dream where a strange man questioned me about my father!"
Granny and Father became speechless.
Elias was stunned and he realized that his father had already been dead.
"Who are you?" asked Elias to the person resembling his father.
"You shouldn't have asked that question" replied Granny.
Elias threw a fork and it flew right through him.
"What is this? What is happening here?", Elias had no idea.
And he saw his father crying. The tears were black in color and it was not water but a kind of gaseous tears.
"I shouldn't have let your mother die!" cried Elias' father.
Elias felt sad and asked his father about his mother's death.
His father stood up and strangled granny neck and absorbed her soul.
"HA HA HA HA ! You are next!" shouted father and ran towards Elias.
His face was full of aggression and Elias was terrified.
Elias' body felt warm and his brain felt cold.
His father was closing in and
"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!"
BLINK !
"Are you alright?" asked Granny to Elias.
The home looked safe and familiar. He realised that it was a dream.
Granny's face was worried and Elias was lying on granny's lap.
He wanted to believe that this place was real and not an another dream.
He hugged granny through her neck and literally cried.
The dream hung over him like a shadow.
Then after some time of taking rest, Elias felt normal and now he thought of asking questions to granny.
Elias saw granny was cooking.
He went behind and hugged her and asked her softly, almost scared of the answer, "Granny.....can we talk about something???"
Granny agreed to answer, but only after completing the remaining tasks.
So Elias also decided to help.
Granny already knew that he was going to ask about the pills and his parents.
But she definitely knew how to handle Elias.
They both took another fifteen minutes to complete the work and finally sat on the sofa for rest.
"Ask"
Then Elias asked about the pills and told his bitter dreams about his parents.
Granny knew everything already and she hid everything with a smile.
Elias had no idea about it and he even showed the picture of Stones drawn by Gracia.
Elias had received the pictures of the stones from Gracia during the lunch break.
So, Granny sure knew about the stones.
Granny thought that he would ask about his parents and pills but the pictures and drawings of this stones were unexpected.
Her face became worried and Elias noticed it.
He gathered every bit of courage and said,
"The pills didn't work today"
The atmosphere of the room gets thicker.
Granny's hand was literally shaking.
Then Elias explains about that dream.....the void, the voices, the glittering stones, the dark man, the feeling of being "pulled", the terror he experienced and everything.
Granny's fingers froze.
Her breathing stopped for a microsecond and finally her mask began to slip.
Elias didn't want the tension to fade.
He thought it as an opportunity and he pushed hard....
"What are you giving me? And what am I? Why am I experiencing all these?"
He didn't whisper, he didn't stammer, he asked with absolute fear and desperation.
Granny thought to herself, "Is this the perfect time to break the truth?"
But she didn't.
"These pills are the one keeping you safe.....Don't overthink" ,Granny tried to control Elias.
But Elias was in full form.
Granny was not in panic and anger.
She was filled deeply with 'Ancient Fear', 'Deep Love', 'Protective Instinct'.....
Granny was over-explaining everything, such as: "The stones have nothing to do with you," and "It is just a nightmare".
Elias confirmed that she was hiding something huge from him.
