Downtown Philadelphia was chaos.
Cars overturned.
Fire everywhere.
Screams echoing between broken buildings.
People ran in every direction—
trying to escape another blast of crackling demonic lightning that tore through a skyscraper's upper floors.
Sivana floated above the destruction like a devil, his corrupted eye glowing with the Sins inside.
"COME OUT, CHAMPION!" he roared, sending another explosion through the street.
A mother collapsed trying to shield her daughter.
A group of students huddled behind a fallen concrete pillar.
A bus driver tried to pull a trapped passenger out of a crushed door.
Everything was falling apart.
Then—
The sky lit up.
A thunderbolt tore through the clouds, streaking downward with divine force.
KRAAAAK-BOOOOM!!
And from within the lightning—
A figure descended.
Cape flowing.
Armor blazing.
Eyes crackling with gold.
Shazam.
Arin.
The Champion.
He landed in the street with enough power to crack the asphalt—but controlled enough not to harm anyone nearby.
Civilians gasped.
"That's—!"
"Is that… champion?!"
"He came! He really came!"
"He's saving us!"
Arin didn't waste time.
With superhuman speed, he zipped toward the trapped bus first.
CRUNCH!
He gripped the crushed metal door and peeled it off like cardboard.
"Are you all alright?" his deep, amplified voice asked.
The driver stared at him in awe.
"Y-Yes, sir! Please—there are children—!"
Arin didn't let him finish.
He lifted the entire front of the bus—
one-handed—
so the passengers could crawl out.
People clapped, cried, and thanked him as he carried the injured to safety with impossible gentleness.
Then he turned to the mother shielding her daughter.
He knelt, lifting the fallen debris with a single hand and helping them stand.
"Run and Don't look back."
They obeyed instantly.
Arin's presence alone brought hope to a dying street.
But his eyes sharpened.
Sivana was still destroying the city.
And Arin was done letting people suffer.
"Time to end this," he muttered—
—and shot into the sky like a thunderbolt toward the Sivana.
---
Back in the living room, the family rushed to the TV.
The news broadcast showed the same scene Arin had just flown into.
Mary clasped her hands tightly.
"That's him—! That's Arin!"
Gwen gasped as he lifted the entire bus.
"He's so strong…"
MJ's voice trembled with awe.
"And fast… I—I didn't know he was like this."
Freddy was screaming.
"GUYS HE'S DOING A SUPERHERO LANDING!! A REAL ONE!! DO YOU SEE THAT?!! AAAAA—!!"
Billy stared, torn between jealousy and admiration.
Rosa's hands were pressed over her heart.
Her eyes watery.
"He's protecting everyone…
My… Arin…"
Mary and MJ both shot her a quick, embarrassed look.
But right now, no one had energy for jealousy.
They were too terrified and worried about Arin .
The camera zoomed in as Arin flew upward toward Sivana.
Gwen whispered:
"He looks so… handsome."
Mary's voice shook.
"Please… please come back safe…"
MJ bit her lip.
"Kick his ass, Arin…"
Rosa whispered just one word—
"Please…"
---
Arin shot upward, fists crackling with lightning.
Sivana turned, sensing the divine spark approaching.
His face twisted into a grin.
"There you are… Champion."
Arin's glare was cold and sharp.
"You hurt innocent people.
You shouldn't have done that."
Sivana laughed.
"Bring everything you have, champion.
Your power won't save you."
Arin clenched his fists.
"Let's find out."
Lightning erupted around him.
Sivana unleashed the Sins power.
And the two forces collided mid-air—
THBOOOOOOMM!!!
The sky exploded in light and darkness.
The true battle had begun
