The forest was unusually quiet at night.
Only the distant cries of nocturnal beasts and the soft rush of flowing water accompanied Aurora as she made her way toward the stream. Moonlight spilled across the forest floor beneath the twin moons hanging high in the sky, bathing everything in an almost dreamlike glow. The cold night air brushed against her skin, carrying the scent of damp earth and pine through the wilderness surrounding the Tiger Tribe.
Once she arrived at the stream, she immediately paused and carefully scanned her surroundings - left, right, behind the trees.
Truthfully, she knew no one would come wandering to this part of the forest, especially at this hour. Still, she had the habit to always scanning the area first since she knew carelessness got people killed.
So only after she made sure she was indeed alone, she finally opened the system shop.
