The journey toward the Bear Tribe continued without incident. At least until Aurora suddenly stopped walking again.
The bear beastmen immediately froze and instinctively turned toward the surrounding forest, remembering what happened just minutes before when Aurora had abruptly halted at the beginning of their journey.
Asher's gaze sharpened as well.
However, instead of staring into the shadows this time, Aurora's attention was fixed on the ground. More specifically on a cluster of plants growing near a rocky outcrop. Without explaining herself, she crouched beside the herbs.
The leaves were narrow and dark green, with small pale flowers growing near the tips. She immediately recognized them. Though this herb wasn't from Earth, but from the countless system identifications she had performed over the past few weeks, she knew exactly what this herb was and what it's used for.
