The beastmen were mostly curious about Aurora's identity. Meanwhile, the females seemed curious about something entirely else.
"Look at her hair."
"It's so neat."
"How did she do that?"
"Her hide looks so soft."
"Look at her skin. It's so smooth and fair."
The whispers followed them everywhere. But Aurora pretended not to hear.
One female openly stared at Aurora's braid with unconcealed curiosity. Another kept trying to examine the stitching on her hide outfit even from distance. And then there were several younger females who just seemed particularly fascinated by Aurora's presence. And the more they stared, the more curious they became.
Still naturally, the biggest mystery wasn't Aurora herself. Instead, it was why she was traveling with Asher. The questions practically radiated from their faces.

Why was the Wolf Alpha accompanying her?
