The Snow Lion Tribe had one very obvious advantage over every other tribe Aurora had visited - the cold did not frighten them in the slightest.
To the Snow Lions, the freezing winds rolling down from the mountains were as ordinary as summer rain was to the Fox Tribe. Their thick fur and natural affinity for the cold made them perfectly comfortable even when snow covered the ground and icy winds swept across the plains.
They could walk outside with little more than their usual clothing, sleep beneath the open sky during snowfall, and spend hours hunting among the frozen mountains without showing the slightest discomfort.
Aurora, unfortunately, possessed none of those advantages. By the time the evening feast finally ended, she had perfected the art of pretending she wasn't freezing to death.
