Chapter 24 - 24

The group set sail at night and rushed straight to Saba City.

During this journey, Roy and No. 18 followed the fierce fox family in a comfortable flying posture using their aerial Nen skills. Leorio, who was afraid of heights, looked on with envy. Gon and the others were even more impressed by Roy's reliability.

Upon arriving in Saba City, Gon saw such a large city for the first time. He couldn't contain his curiosity and excitement.

"The hairstyles of those in orange clothes are like mine!"

Suddenly, Gon seemed to have discovered a new world and shouted.

Everyone instinctively looked over. Roy was startled, then smiled faintly.

The person Gon had noticed had a hairstyle similar to his—like Little Goku from Dragon Ball. Both hairstyles were spiky and upside-down, resembling a hedgehog's head.

Surprisingly, Dragon Ball's influence had spread so widely that some people were even cosplaying.

The cosplayer wore orange-red clothes, a black belt, and had a turtle emblem tattooed on their clothes. Upon hearing Gon's comment, the cosplayer glanced at Gon's hair and said helplessly, "Another old-fashioned person. You haven't even seen Dragon Ball."

"Dragon Ball?" Gon's head tilted, puzzled.

"It's the hottest manga in the world right now! The best-looking manga created by Master Roy of Shonen Magazine!" The cosplayer spoke excitedly, completely absorbed in their fandom.

"Master Roy?"

Kurapika immediately noticed the name and glanced at Roy.

"That's right. Master Roy! He's not even eighteen years old, yet he created such a great manga. Many consider him the most talented artist in the world," the cosplayer said, eyes full of reverence.

"So, little brother, go read Dragon Ball. You won't be disappointed!"

Just as the cosplayer tried to hand Gon a copy, someone on the street shouted, "The latest issue of Dragon Ball is out! Hurry and buy it!"

"What?!"

"Yes! Today is the release date of the new issue!"

"Hey, leave me a copy!"

"Don't even try to steal it from me! I didn't get the previous issues, but this time, I'm determined!"

"The old lady wants a copy too! Who touched her just now?!"

In an instant, the street erupted into chaos as everyone ran toward the source of the commotion.

"Little brother, don't just stand there! Go get your copy!" the cosplayer shouted, rushing off.

Gon was stunned. Dragon Ball even had a fan club.

"Naw… Roy, Master Roy they mentioned… isn't that you?"

"That's me!"

Everyone looked at the crowd and then at Roy beside them. It felt unreal.

"Roy, you're amazing! They all think you're a master!" Gon exclaimed, completely awestruck.

"It's nothing. I just happened to draw a fairly popular manga," Roy said modestly.

"Then that means your comic sells very well. You must have made a lot of money!" Leorio's eyes lit up.

"Well, probably tens of millions of J at least…"

"Big brother!" Leorio immediately grabbed Roy's leg. "From now on, you're my eldest brother. I'll never go east if you say west!"

Kurapika's lips twitched slightly at Leorio's joking loyalty. He looked both shy and amused.

Roy's identity and wealth had been revealed, but aside from Leorio's joking, the group's mood remained steady.

Gon was focused on finding his father, and Kurapika wanted revenge. Roy's fame didn't change their goals. At most, they admired and blessed their friend's accomplishments.

On the now quiet street, the fierce fox took Gon and the group to a steakhouse.

Inside, after being seated, Gon and Roy smoothly moved into a private booth.

"The Hunter exam will always have surprises. Millions participate, but only one in 10,000 reaches the official venue. As newcomers, you've done well. If it were you again next year, I'd be happy to lead the way," beans said, standing at the door in a serious tone.

After delivering these official words, he relaxed and smiled.

"Judging by the Nen abilities you've obtained, you have a high probability of passing. Come on, everyone!"
