"I will not allow you again, Nicholas. Leave my hospital right now." I heard Liam's voice and it calmed my heart a little bit. I am so thankful that doctor Liam was around.


"I am your Beta, you don't tell me what to do, Liam. Now step aside before I make you do so and I will not ask you again." Nicholas warned.


"Over my dead body." That was doctor Liam's voice.


"Oh, that can be arranged." I heard Nicholas sneer.


"You would really kill the Alpha's best friend? I am sure that will go over easily with Bernard. You can't touch me even if you wanted, Nicholas. Bernard would have your head if you ever harm me, you know that very well and the entire Pack knows it as well." I heard a growl coming from the other side of the door and I felt my heart rate quickened. Liam was putting himself in the line of fire to save me. It only proved that Liam is a good man with a good heart.
