Chie Hoshinomiya spun her chair around to face Ren. She smiled and asked him why he was here. He had just come to see her yesterday, and now he was back in the office first thing in the morning. He had even checked if any other teachers were around before coming in. Seeing him act so mysterious made her curious.
Seeing that Hoshinomiya-sensei was the only one in the office, Ren locked the door after entering.
He walked right up to her, lifted her out of the chair without any hesitation, and placed her on his lap just like he did yesterday. He didn't forget to talk a little trash. "Chie-chan, how many points for second base?"
"Katsuragi-kun, that's not a funny joke." Hoshinomiya's cheeks instantly puffed out.
She looked like an angry little pufferfish. But because she looked so cute, it wasn't threatening at all.
"Really? I'm serious, Chie-chan." Ren affectionately rubbed his cheek against hers and whispered, "Sensei, can we really talk in here?"
Hoshinomiya, who had been about to push his hand away, suddenly froze. She slipped out of his lap, grabbed his tie, and said fiercely, "To the break room."
She led Ren to the tea room and locked the door. She fixed her hair, which Ren had messed up again, and sat down across from him with a serious look, waiting for him to reveal his "evil plan."
Ren, however, acted like he was at home. He skillfully took a tea box from the cabinet, placed the leaves in a teapot, and slowly poured hot water over them. In a moment, the smell of tea filled the room.
While focusing on the tea, Ren spoke slowly. "Chie-chan, I need to borrow some money."
"?" Hoshinomiya was stunned. She understood every word he said, but she couldn't understand the sentence.
Ren poured the tea into a cup, filling it about seventy percent. He pushed the cup toward her.
He repeated his words with a serious tone. "Chie-chan, I need to borrow some money."
Hoshinomiya finally understood what he was saying, and she was so annoyed she had to laugh. It was true: when you're speechless, you laugh.
This new student had been at school for only two days. On the first day, he gave her 400,000 points for free. On the second day, he was asking his teacher to borrow money?

Ren just stared. He didn't say a word, just stared at the proud teacher.
In the end, Hoshinomiya gave in and told the truth. "Yes, I am."
How could she not be? That was like asking someone on the outside if they were short on money. For Hoshinomiya, who lived in this school, points were money.
"In that case, Chie-chan, lend me the points. Consider it your investment." Ren finally stated his true purpose.
Borrowing? Borrowed money has to be paid back. An investment doesn't. He was confident he could pull off this plan without spending a single point. The money he "borrowed" from her would end up in his own hands anyway.
Now Hoshinomiya understood why he had insisted on talking in the break room with no cameras. There were many ways for a student to earn points, but not many ways to earn a lot of points. At least, not legally. It seemed this "evil plan" of his was a big one.
"Well, can you tell me what I'm investing in? Katsuragi-kun~"
Hoshinomiya moved next to him and, without hesitation, grabbed his arm and started acting cute. Who wouldn't be excited about making a lot of money? And with the Katsuragi heir backing it, it was a guaranteed profit.
"Of course, Chie-chan." Ren had planned to pull his teacher onto this pirate ship from the start. He wouldn't hide it from her. After all, one of the rules was: Your homeroom teacher has more power than you think.
As she listened to Ren's plan, Hoshinomiya thought about how possible it was. She came to a conclusion: It was very possible. And very profitable. But the unity of the entire second-year class would probably be shattered.
She let go of Ren's arm and looked at him deeply. "You really are something, Katsuragi-kun," she said in a meaningful tone.

Ren knocked politely on the door of the classroom, catching the attention of a pretty girl with short, brownish hair.
Kikyou Kushida smiled and jogged over to Ren, batting her big eyes. "Hi, can I help you with something?"
"Hello. I'm looking for Kōenji Rokusuke. Could you please get him for me?" Ren replied with a smile, stating his purpose.
Hearing his request, Kushida's expression stiffened. She was great at making friends, but she had failed twice in this class. One of those failures was the very person this handsome boy was asking for.
Ren noticed her expression change and offered her an easy way out. "I'm sorry, my friend is a bit... strange. If he offended you in any way, I apologize on his behalf." Ren even placed a hand on his chest and gave a slight, noble-looking bow.
Kushida's expression softened. She shook her head. "It's okay. I'll go get him right now."
"No, that's alright, I can do it myself. I'm sorry," Ren said, hearing the hesitation in her voice. He said he would handle it and apologized again.
He then turned his head toward Kōenji, who was already looking over, and called out in a teasing voice, "Little lion!"
