"Evernight?" I heard Rin's voice, standing at the rooftop exit.
She noticed me and the unconscious boy.
"What happened? Are you okay?" she asked, and I wanted to snort.
I was the only one standing there, uninjured, and Emiya was lying next to me on the floor, bloody, and she asked me if I was okay.
"Yes, I'm fine." I replied simply, to which she nodded. Then she turned her gaze to Emiya, who was unconscious.
"What happened to him?" she asked rather indifferently.
"Archer attacked him, on his master's orders." I replied.
"But why attack him? And who controlled Archer anyway?" Rin asked.
"He's a master too, he just hasn't summoned his spirit yet; he probably doesn't even know it. And it was Shinji Matou who attacked him..." I said, and then I saw rage appear on her face, and she clenched her fist so tightly that blood began to drip from her hand.
"Where is he? Where is that thing?!" she growled.
"Dead! I killed him." I replied, to which she relaxed a little, but the anger was still visible on her face.
"Did he suffer?" Rin asked, to which I nodded.
She took a breath and exhaled, then came to her senses.
"What should we do with him?" she asked.
"I want you to help him complete the summoning ritual," I replied. "Why? I mean, why drag him through all this nonsense?"
"I'm interested in who he'll summon," I replied.
"Who?" Rin asked.
"Artoria! Artoria Pendragon!" I said, to her surprise.
"The King of Knights himself? What makes you think he'll summon her?" Rin asked.
"There's something inextricably linked to her within him." I said.
"Inextricably linked?" Rin asked.
"Avalon!" I said, to her shock.
"How? How could there be something so powerful within him?" Rin asked, to which I shrugged.
"If I hadn't interfered, Artoria would have appeared, and Avalon would have healed the boy's wounds. Even now, Avalon has probably already healed his wounds." I said, looking at the wound I had frozen.
"So, you want him to summon Artoria?" asked Rin.
"Not exactly... I'll extract Avalon from him and summon Artoria myself." I replied, though I didn't know if it would work.
"Is that even possible? I mean, can one Heroic Spirit summon another?" asked Rin, to which I only smiled.
"Have you forgotten that I'm not ordinary? It's a piece of cake for me." I replied, though I wasn't entirely sure. I also didn't know how to convince Artoria to give up her impossible dream.
"And yet... What about Shirou? Not that I care about him, but what will happen to him?" Rin asked.
"Well... I think he'll live... I guess..." I said, rather hesitantly.
"So there's a chance he'll die." she asked, to which I nodded.
She just sighed and nodded at me.
I looked at the guy again, crouched down, and placed my hand on his chest. Honestly, I didn't want to touch him, but I needed Avalon.
My hand passed through his chest, but there was no break in the skin or anything. It was as if my hand had descended into a completely different space, where I felt something.
Grabbing it, I began to pull it toward me, and thankfully, it went quite easily, and soon, I was holding the scabbard in my hands...
Avalon! They were quite unique, and I sensed great power in them.
"Okay, you got them, and the guy's still alive. So what now?" Rin asked.
"Well, I suggest we go back to your house, and you help me perform the summoning ritual, and then I'll go get your sister." I said.
"Okay, but what should we do with Shirou?" she asked.
"Leave him here? You're not suggesting that we two girls carry the guy, are you?" I asked, earning a strange look from Rin.
Yes, she probably knows I could easily lift him, but I'm not going to do that, and it's bad enough that I just touched the guy. The very act disgusts me, so no thanks, if you want, carry him yourself.
"I can help..." we heard a new voice, which sounded like a girl's.
Looking in the direction the voice was coming from, we saw in vain a military man with...
llyasviel von Einzbern...
I didn't expect to see her, but I won't lie, I was hoping for this encounter; this little loli is so cute!
Rin was a little wary when she saw a muscular man with a girl sitting on his shoulder.
Seeing Rin's reaction, llyasviel asked Berserker to put her down.
"I don't want to hurt you. Berserker, take care of little brother," she said.
Rin looked at me, to which I simply nodded.
In the end, Berserker carried the boy like a sack of potatoes, and I...
"Sister, your hair is so soft." llyasviel said, sitting on my shoulders, running her hands through it.
I don't know why, but she wanted to sit on my shoulder, so much so that even she made pitiful eyes that could melt any heart, and for me, the one who can't refuse a cute loli, it was too much, and she immediately agreed.
I hope I don't get arrested...
I'm not a pervert attracted to children. Paimon doesn't count, since she's not a child, and until she's in a normal body, nothing will happen to me. Although, for some reason, that sounds like an excuse...
But never mind...
