Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Dungeon City

The day flew by rather quickly, especially when you're in the company of charming lolis.

Of course, I told them I was leaving soon, and in general, I was planning on traveling to different worlds. And, oddly enough, they took it very calmly, hardly even surprised. I simply assured them that in the future, I would take everyone to other worlds.

So, with a clear conscience, I headed into the new world.

I appeared in an alleyway, and from the buildings I saw, I could only assume it was a fantasy world or something like that.

As I exited the alley, a large building immediately caught my eye, very tall. That tower...

So, my third world is connected to gods and a dungeon?

Well, actually, that's quite good.

I'll be able to get closer to Hestia. Honestly, I can't understand Bell. He had a beautiful, curvy girl by his side, but he didn't even notice, chasing after his blonde swordswoman.

I hope I got here before the events begin and will be the first to join Hestia's family. I wonder what will happen when Hestia bestows Falna upon me?

But first, I need to register with the guild.

"Excuse me." I said to the woman who passed me.

She stopped and looked at me...

I didn't expect to meet someone I recognized right at the start.

Before me stood a beautiful woman with green hair, and judging by her ears, she was an elf. It was Riveria, who belonged to one of the most influential families in Orario, the Loki family. Well, unlike the mythology from my world, Loki here was a woman, well... I guess... Still, she was rather flat-chested and had short hair, so it was hard to tell. If I remember correctly, Loki liked to grope the girls in her family and even wanted to start a harem. She'll probably immediately want me in her family upon seeing me.

"Can I help you with something?" the elf asked, to which I nodded.

"Yes, could you tell me where I can find the guild?" she asked.

"The guild? Go down the street, then turn left and you'll come to a building with signs." she said.

"Thank you." I replied and turned to leave, but she grabbed my arm.

"Is this your first time in this city? I've never seen a girl so beautiful before." she said, not blushing at all, unlike me.

"Yes, I just arrived in this city today." I replied.

"Then wouldn't you like to join the family I belong to? Yes, our goddess is a bit... eccentric, but she cares for her children." Riveria said.

I shook my head.

"Sorry, but I've already chosen the family I want to be in." I replied, causing a slightly sad expression to appear on her face.

"Too bad... I hope your new family can protect you." she said.

"From what?" I asked.

"From the families of Freya and Apollo. They'll stop at nothing to get their hands on such a beautiful girl." she said.

"I'm glad you're worried about me, but don't be. You don't even know me." I said.

"Sorry, my name is Riveria, I'm a member of the Loki family, level 7." she said.

"Evernight. Honestly, this is my first time meeting an elf. I've heard that elves are very arrogant, but you're different from the rumors." I said.

She just sighed.

"That's not a rumor; most elves are very arrogant towards other races. And you're not human either, are you?" she asked.

I merely raised an eyebrow.

"What made you think that?" I asked, curious.

"You're too beautiful, your beauty is on par with a goddess." she replied.

I blushed slightly.

"Thank you for the compliment, but I don't think that's the main reason." I said.

She nodded.

"I sense a different vibe from you than from humans." she said.

I shrugged.

"I don't know, I was born into a human family, and humans raised me. So I'm pretty sure I'm human." I said.

Of course, I was talking about my past life, so it's not entirely a lie. Of course, I could say I'm a demigoddess of time. Although I'm not original, I'm sure I have her powers. So what does that mean, I can consider myself a demigoddess of time. Of course, I haven't tried manipulating time, with the exception of freezing the world, though that could have been done through the system, though it's also possible she simply used my power.

"Well, if you say so... Anyway, I have to go. I hope we meet again." Riveria said. I simply nodded and headed toward the guild.

Soon enough, I found myself standing in front of a large building with signs. Along the way, I felt many eyes on me, and I ignored most of them, but there were some who stared intently at me.

I was sure that this gaze was from Freya, she can see souls, so either my soul was too unique, or she simply couldn't see my soul.

Anyway, I entered the guild, where there were many adventurers busy with their own affairs. Most of them stopped when they saw me, but I ignored them and walked up to the reception desk.

Behind her was a girl, an elf, or more accurately, a half-elf. She wore glasses and was dressed in rather elegant clothes.

"Welcome to the guild, my name is Eina Tulle. Is there anything I can help you with?" the girl asked, her gaze lingering on my face.

"Yes, I would like to register." I said.

She nodded, taking out a form.

"Is this your first time in this city?" she asked, to which I simply nodded.

"Okay, what's your name?" she asked.

"Evernight." I replied.

"A unique name... Anyway, how old are you?" she asked.

"17."

She nodded.

"Where were you born and where do you live?" she asked, continuing to fill out the form.

"In the forest." I replied, to which she paused.

"Excuse me?" she asked, a little surprised.

"I was born and raised in the forest. My parents didn't like the city, so we lived in the forest." I said, and she nodded.

"What kind of weapon do you use?" she asked, to which a black umbrella appeared in my hand.

"Uh... Is that a weapon?" she asked, somewhat hesitantly.

"Yes."

"Okay..."

"Are you planning to join a family?" she asked.

"And without this, I can't enter the dungeon?" I asked in response.

"No, you can, just..." I gestured with my hand, indicating I understood.

"Yes, I'm planning to join a family." I said.

"Then would you like us to find you a family?" she asked, to which I merely shook my head.

"I've already chosen Hestia's family." I replied.

"Hestia? Are you sure?" she asked.

"Yes, I want to be in her family." I said, to which she nodded hesitantly, writing down the information on the piece of paper.

"Okay, registration is complete. Hestia can be found in the market area. Hephaestus recently kicked her out, so she works there." Eina said.

"She doesn't have anyone else, does she?" I asked, to which Eina shook her head.

"No, she doesn't have any family members yet," she said.

I nodded at her.

"Thank you." I said.

She smiled back.

"Ask me if you have any questions." she said.

I nodded and turned to go find my waifu goddess.
