Previously on the Ideation Abyss...
As me and Athena along with The Knights of the Round Table were resting for the night.
We happened to encounter a rift happening in the cosmos as a portal opened from the sky and from there dropped a dimension traveller that others may be familiar with, but with that questions began to arise about how he ended up here in this realm.
"Normally I would question dimension hoppers causing chaos across the flow of the cosmos but it seems like I already know the entire background of the story behind this little predicament..." Creo softly sighed.
"Heh, you know it!" Vynn said sarcastically, preparing to draw his weapon.
"There's no need for hostility here, we're not here to harm you whatsoever...we're here with the Knights of the Round Table in Camelot..." Athena smiled.
"Camelot? As in Arthurian legend, not gonna lie this might be more interesting than the dimensions Skullspawn had me kidnapped to..." Vynn said sarcastically, sheathing his weapon.
"Yeah but I sense that he might be arriving now when you said that..." Creo said in annoyance.
I was right- I felt the cosmos began to shift again and we all saw something peculiar happening in the sky again, it was not one- not two but four portals emerging.
"Just our luck, the cosmos is beginning to have an imbalance, is Camelot becoming a vacation place for itnerdimensional travelers?" Merlin rolled his eyes in annoyance.
Out emerged from the portals were four different figures.
The first figure was a man with a dark cloak, with slicked back hair, with pale skin, he exudes an aura, suggesting he has high mana reserves. That man is the prideful Ryujin.
"Tch, it's that annoying tyrant again..." Vynn scoffed, cracking his knuckles.
The second was a hooded figure in all black, his cloak was tattered, suggesting he had experience in many battles, equipped with a scythe, with a cold expression on his face, striking fear towards the knights. His name was the mysterious Elexer.
"It seems death itself has come to take our lives..." Galahad grunted, drawing his sword.
The third was a man wearing a formal business suit, equipped with futuristic technology and wearing what appears to be something from what the people outside fiction call "a Daft Punk mask". He is known as the assassin Emile Locke.
"Ughhhh there's no signal here in this realm, looks like I can't make this place go kablooey..." Emile sighed whilst configuarting his device.
And last but not the least, the head honcho and their ringleader, a man who is well versed with dimension travelling, he has an unusual sense of fashion in my opinion, wearing a tattered red cloak, wearing a skull mask and fedora, along with black pants and brown boots, holding a spell book, he stepped forward.
He was without a doubt one of the most annoying people to ever come across in this verse- Skullspawn.
"It seems I charted our destination too far and we ended up here in the realm of Camelot...a miscalculation in my part..." Skullspawn sighed, scratching his head.
"It was without a doubt your fault..." Ryujin replied.
"Agreed." Elexer continued.
"Entirely yours without a doubt!" Emile Locke exclaimed.
"Those nobles dress differently compare to Sir Creo and Lady Athena..." Lancelot whispered.
"No kidding, Sir Lancelot...they look dangerous." Percival replied, drawing out his sword.
Skullspawn batted an eye at Creo and sarcastically said.. "Oh it's you again, King of Elderith..."
"Indeed we meet again, King of Skeletons, rather the traveler of chaos..." Creo remarked.
"You look rather taller the last time we met." Skullspawn replied.
"Barely to be honest..." Athena replied, walking towards them.
"I see that you two are also acquaintances with these travelers..." Arthur said, still confused by the scenario.
"Believe me, King of Camelot, you have no idea..." Creo sighed.
"Listen here bro! Stop kidnapping me and taking me to different dimensions for your roleplay fantasies!!!" Vynn's exclaimed, pointing his blade at Skullspawn.
Skullspawn touched the tip and shouted. "Stop acting so kidnappable!"
The Knights of the Round Table whispered amongst one another.
"Is this usually normal?"
"Those two exude immense power just from the way they fight..."
Merlin replied. "They're a chaotic bunch who not even the world knows how to contain due to their sheer recklessness..."
"Let's settle this once and for all..." Skullspawn opened his spell book.
"I would have said it better myself!" Vynn exclaimed, drawing out Breakerblade.
The two fighters began to initiate their duel.
The air began to felt thick due to the tension. With both fighters glaring at one another,
Vynn took the first step, swinging his Breakerblade enhanced by his Light Gem, he swung his balde towards him but Skullspawn blocked his attack with a forcefield.
Ryujin, Elexer and Emile Locke looked back, not even bothering to help which confused the Knights of the Round Table and even Merlin himself.
"Is this usual for you guys to just sit back and let your leader do his thing?" Merlin asked.
"Calling him leader is a bit of an overstretch but yeah it's usual we let him do his thing..." Ryujin scoffed, crossing his arms.
"He's mostly arrogant and believes he's like a protagonist, we don't encourage him to be that active but hey we can't stop him ourselves considering we're uncontrollable natures..." Elexer replied, softly humming a little.
Vynn managed to cut through the forcefield, shocking Skullspawn which prompted him to create shadows to attack Vynn.
But it was merely child's play for Vynn, hmwith a single wave, he slashed them all at once, Skullspawn promptly retreated in the shadow.
Vynn stopped for a moment, attempting to anticipate Skullspawn's next action of attack.
He emerged from behind, with a sword in hand but Vynn blocked it at the last second.
Skullspawn shocked but impressed. "It seems that through the test of time, you're able to adapt to our attacks, then again I figured this would happened..."
"And yet you still went for the attack..." Vynn grinned, swinging his blade, cutting strands of his hair.
Skullspawn got up but Vynn immediately pointed his sword near his neck.
"I was once the fool but how the tables have changed, you're on the ground, begging for mercy..." Vynn chuckled.
Before Vynn could continue, Creo stopped both of them from going any further.
"That's enough cosmic ripples for a day..." Creo sighed, stopping them with just the lift of a finger.
"My apologies King of Elderith- it was, in fact, a reckless and brash mistake in our part." Skullspawn sighed softly, scratching his head.
"If you knew that you were making a mistake then why did you still commited it?!" Creo exclaimed.
Athena rushed towards them. "That's enough now my moonlight, go easy and rest for now..." She held his arm and took him to a tent.
Merlin approached Skullspawn, seemingly impressed by the latter's abilities.
"You're a well seasoned mage aren't you?" Merlin remarked.
Skullspawn batted an eye and said. "Indeed I am, I've been curious in the arts of magecraft ever since I was a young boy...."
"Say you're the legendary Merlin himself...you look rather different than the legends depict you to be..." Skullspawn raised an eyebrow.
"Well I wouldn't blame those scholars, I always acted so wise that in my later years, I've gotten rustier and far more chaotic." Merlin chuckled.
"Those two are getting along pretty well..." Ryujin remarked.
"Indeed, then again it's quite nice to have some peace for a while." Elexer sighed, looking up at the stars.
"Without a doubt...but wherever we go chaos is bound to be on the rise..." Emile Locke sighed whilst fixing the dimension hopping device.
Skullspawn approached Creo, crossing his arms and saying. "So you're telling me that the entire cosmos is starting to have some ripples emerging, and what do you think are the reasons why it is happening?"
"I'm not exactly sure just yet but I know that this whole thing will collapse in itself when it isn't dealt with..." Creo sighed softly.
Creo rallied all of their attention.
"Listen up all of you, I have foreseen a terrible outcome that will occur if not dealt with caution, our universe as we know it is an ever expanding concept but with that, it comes with consequences- contradictions come into play and they start to cause ripples in the timeline. If not dealt with, we'd all be wiped out from the very plane of existence...I ask of you- will you all aid me in this quest?!" Creo exclaimed, raising his fist.
"You already know my answer..." Athena chuckled, stepping forward.
"If this whole thing collapses, I won't be able to have fun so I'm in!" Vynn exclaimed.
"So are we!" Skullspawn and the Horsemen stepped forward.
"And we will aid you in your quest as an act of courtesy and to showcase the bond between our group." Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table smiled.
"Splendid, then let us move forward and fight for the restoration of the universe!" Creo shouted.
Creo began to utilize lots of mana reserves and created a giant portal.
"It has been done, the gateway throughout the whole universe is standing right before our eyes, now the next step is to make a stand." Creo sighed softly.
And so, all of them without a second thought stepped forward, transporting themselves inside the portal, travelling around the cosmos, some feeling uneasy, some remained determined to fight again to live another day.
One thing is certain- this journey will decide the fate of their universe.
