I woke up again to another day, my body was a little sore, but the day was different- I had her in my arms.
She looked so peaceful in her sleep; she's so delicate, almost fragile, for me.
Looking at her really makes my heart melt like snow.
I saw her wake up and lean in closer into my arms. I gently comforted her, patting her head and giving a kiss on her forehead.
"Morning, Creo," She smiled softly, her eyes were a little puffy.
It was nice waking up with a loved one.
"Let's get dressed...we'll be going somewhere." Creo smirked, tracing the curves on her body.
"Oh another adventure? It has been a long time since we done that but I don't mind..." She sighed, sitting up, gently brushing her hair.
"What are you looking at?" She grinned and had a playful smile.
"My beautiful wife obviously..." Creo chuckled, playing with her hair and caressing her body.
She sighed softly. "Sometimes I don't know whether you're good at flirting or you can be cheesy with it..." She rolled her eyes, wrapping her arms around me.
"And yet you love it..." Creo snickered, kissing her cheek.
"I won't deny that I love your affection..." She sighed, getting up from bed.
We both began to pick up our clothes and gotten ourselves dressed, afterwards we went to start our day.
We exited the gates of my castle, holding our hands tightly.
"We'll be making a trip, I hope you're ready." Creo looked at her with a serious tone.
She simply nodded and equipped her sword, her eyes flaring with a bright light. "Whenever you're ready..."
I began to cast the portal, gathering mana from my surroundings, forming a stable pathway towards the next destination.
The next thing was to do- was make the first step.
We both took a deep breath and hopped in, getting transported to who knows where, holding each other, not letting go.
Eventually we arrived to our destination, falling from the sky.
We braced for impact as I gently created a force field to negate the impact of the fall.
As we hit the ground, we laid there for a moment before I turned off the forcefield, I gently got up slowly, looking around the surroundings before helping Athena get up on her feet.
"Let me help you get up.." Creo picked her up gently.
As she stood up, her eyes darted and saw what appeared to be a kingdom nearby.
"Let's go check it out my moonlight!" She chuckled softly, holding my hand.
As we walked down the roads, passing by travelling merchants, we entered the gate of the unfamiliar kingdom.
We embarked around the area, caught in the moment, noticing how the kingdom is bustling and hustling-banners waving, knights were training, horses neighing.
"It's like a story that came to life..." Athena chuckled, walking around each stall.
"This place reminds me of our own kingdom- Elderith, prosperous and ever so lively..." I chuckled, whistling to catch her attention.
"You're not wrong, it's like Elderith but somewhat different in a sense if you get what I mean..." Athena continued, playing with her fingers.
Before Creo could answer- A sudden burst of chaos occured.
"MERLIN WHAT DID YOU DO THIS TIME?!" A voice shouted.
A roar shook the courtyard.
Creo blinked. Athena tilted her head, curious by the chaos.
Suddenly, Merlin sprung out of a hallway, sprinting full-speed across the courtyard, clutching a half-open spell book and a glowing feather.
Behind him came three Knights of the Round Table, armor clanking, swords in their hand with an annoyed expression.
"YOU TURNED THE ROYAL HAWK INTO A—A—WHATEVER THAT WAS!!" Gawain exclaimed, swinging Galatine towards Merlin.
"What are you talking about Sir Gawain? The royal hawk is perfectly normal- AHHHHH!" Merlin gasped, nearly avoiding Lancelot's attack.
"IT BREATHED FIRE, MERLIN!! HAWKS DON'T DO THAT!!" Lancelot fumed, he held Arondnight, gripping it tightly.
""MY HELMET IS STILL SMOKING!!" Sir Percival shouted, trying to extinguish the flames.
Merlin chuckled and shouted. "IT WAS AN EXPERIMENT!! A VERY SUCCESSFUL ONE—NOW STOP CHASING ME!" He sprinted and ran for his life.
He zigzagged around a water barrel, slipped, regained balance, and kept running like a wizard who feared for his life.
Athena covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.
"Creo... is this usually normal?"
"I do not believe so," Creo said, tilting his head in confusion.
"But then again, that wizard seems familiar, don't you think..." She whispered softly into my ear.
"You're not wrong my beloved, he is indeed very familiar..." Creo sighed.
Then—
As Merlin sprinted past the center of the courtyard, he suddenly froze.
The knights froze.
Even the horses froze.
Everyone stared at Creo and Athena.
Merlin regained his composure. "Ah I'm sincerely sorry if you had to see that dear travelers, you must be visitors to the King?"
Lancelot replied. "Hey, don't think that because some visitors appeared you're free to get away again!" He held him from the collar.
Athena full-on laughed.
Creo simply nodded politely, as if chaotic wizard sprints were perfectly ordinary.
That's when King Arthur stepped out from the hall, saw the scene, and stopped dead.
Arthur:
"...Merlin. Stop ruining my kingdom for five minutes."
He turned to Creo and Athena, offering a regal nod.
"You two... are clearly not from around here."
Merlin whispered to Lancelot:
"You see? This is why we don't chase me in public."
Arthur sighed and continued. "I'm sorry if you had to see that, my court wizard here has been causing too much trouble in the kingdom."
"As an act of hospitality, we will welcome you into this humble castle and treat you as guests of our own." Arthur smiled.
Arthur led Creo and Athena into the grand hall, still trying to pretend Merlin's disaster sprint outside hadn't happened. The legendary Round Table gleamed under torchlight, and its knights rose as their king entered.
But the moment they saw the unfamiliar pair behind him...
Silence. Complete, absolute silence.
Sir Gawain's jaw dropped.
Sir Percival stopped mid-polish of his smoking helmet.
Sir Galahad whispered, "In the name of the Lady of the Lake...who are THEY?!"
Lancelot, still slightly singed, muttered. "Please don't tell me they're another one of Merlin's experiments."
Merlin, offended, slapped his spell book shut. "My experiments do NOT look that majestic!"
Athena smiled politely, making the room collectively forget how to breathe.
Creo gave a small nod.
"Greetings. I am Creo, a travelling king and this is Athena, my queen and leader of my military."
Every knight immediately sat up straighter.
Not because of titles.
Not because of authority.
But because the air itself softened around Athena, and tightened around Creo — a balance of cosmic calm and gentle warmth.
Sir Kay leaned toward Gawain.
"Why does looking at him make my sword feel like it's questioning its existence?"
Gawain whispered back,
"Why does looking at her make my heart feel like it's going to defect to another kingdom?"
Athena heard it. She smiled.
Kay nearly fainted.
Arthur cleared his throat aggressively.
"Knights. Composure."
Bors nodded.
"Yes, sire. Composure. Absolutely. I am composed. Entirely composed."
Then he promptly knocked over his own chair.
Merlin sighed dramatically.
"You see what happens? I cause ONE tiny magical bird incident, and they act like I'm the problem, meanwhile they're falling apart because two attractive cosmic beings walked in—"
Arthur shot him a look.
"Merlin, just shut up."
Creo took a careful step toward the table, and immediately the Round Table itself glowed faintly, resonating.
The knights gasped.
Gawain: "It—It's reacting!"
Percival: "To him? To THEM?"
Lancelot: "Now I'm certain they're not Merlin's fault."
Merlin: "Thank you for the vote of confidence."
Athena ran her fingers gently over the polished wood, and the glow steadied — warm, soft, like moonlight and embers.
Arthur calmly spoke: "They are indeed travelers. Travellers from a realm unlike ours."
Galahad raised an eyebrow "...So they're not here to burn the kingdom?"
Creo blinked. "No, we are not."
Galahad sighed. "I apologize. We've had...terrible incidents."
Merlin coughed violently.
Athena giggled.
Creo almost smiled.
Arthur exhaled and gestured to the seats. "Sit. Let us speak of ideals, kingdoms, and perhaps...alliances."
The knights still stared, wide-eyed, overwhelmed, but trying desperately to look dignified.
And Merlin whispered to Lancelot:
"See? I told you today would be interesting."
Creo met with Arthur in the balcony.
"You said you wanted to talk about ideals?" Creo said.
"Indeed I have, you have said yourself that you are a king correct? Tell me what do you think are the ideals that make a king? A king?" Arthur asked softly, humming a little.
"What makes a king is that they too carry the burden of their people, a king understands the pain of the people, it is through understanding one's pain that they are able to connect and gain their trust, and they must follow by example, serving as an existential model that people will look up to..." Creo smiled softly.
Arthur froze for a moment, stunned by what he said but he couldn't help but smile as well. "You're right, that indeed is an ideal that a king should follow by, and a king must be able to ensure stability be in check, without it everything would all go down in flames."
"He's right, as a host of the fragment of creation, I must ensure stability must be in balance so that the cosmos will continue to fluctuate..." I muttered, deep in thought.
Arthur placed his hand on my shoulder. "Why don't we go join the others, I have prepared a feast for you and your wife..."
I simply nodded.
Inside the grand chamber of the Round Table, the knights gathered around the enormous wooden circle, still whispering about the cosmic couple they saw appear out of thin air.
Arthur sat at the head, trying to look composed.
Creo and Athena took their seats as guests of honor — though Athena was already smiling at everything like a tourist in a magical museum.
Merlin stood beside Arthur, arms crossed, trying to look wise despite the fact he had grass stuck in his hair from the earlier chase.
Sir Gawain leaned toward Sir Percival and whispered loudly: "Are we certain they're friendly? The man looks like he could... vaporize us by blinking."
Percival replied. "Did you see the woman? She glows. Glows. Do concepts...do that?"
Lancelot: "Stop staring, both of you—have some dignity."
Lancelot, immediately afterward, stares intently at Creo. "S-so uh... what exactly are you? A demigod? A spirit?"
Creo replies calmly: "I'm simply what I am, a king, but just call me Creo."
The knights simultaneously nod like this explains absolutely nothing.
Arthur cleared his throat, regaining kingly composure. "We welcome you to Camelot. Forgive my knights — they are brave men but...not immune to shock."
Athena giggled. "Please, this place is adorable. Everyone is so lively."
All the knights melted instantly at her kindness.
Merlin muttered under his breath:
"Figures. Cosmic beings show up, and the knights fall in love in ten seconds."
To impress their guests, Merlin clapped his hands dramatically.
Merlin: "Perhaps a small display of Camelot's arcane arts!"
The knights all groaned in unison.
He waved his staff.
A puff of smoke erupted.
A tiny sheep popped into existence on the table.
The sheep screamed like a human.
Everyone screamed back.
Creo blinked.
Athena slid closer to Creo, whispering: "Is it supposed to do that?"
Creo replied. "I do not believe sheep typically do."
Arthur rubbed his face. "Merlin. Why does it scream like that."
Merlin panicked."...expressive personality?"
The sheep screamed again.
To help the embarrassed wizard, Athena placed her hand gently over the sheep.
Her warm conceptual aura enveloped it — and it quietly fell asleep.
The knights gasped.
Lancelot gasped. "She tamed it..."
Gawain widened in shock"So she is a goddess."
Percival exclaimed. "We should adopt her!"
Arthur frowned and exclaimed. "No, we should not adopt cosmic entities!"
Athena blushed slightly and waved both hands. "No no, I'm just good with creatures. The noisy ones especially."
She glanced mischievously at Merlin.
Merlin's jaw dropped.
"Did the goddess of warmth just roast me—?"
Creo, deadpan but proud internally. "She did."
Athena beamed proudly.
Wanting to return the gesture, Creo lightly tapped the surface of the Round Table.
For a moment, the table turned into a perfect illusion of a starry galaxy — miniature planets orbiting, tiny comets sailing around the knights.
The knights gasped in amazement.
Gawain exclaimed. "By the heavens—!"
Lancelot looked in awe."This is... beautiful."
Percival looked at Arthur and asked. "Do you think he'd let us keep one of the tiny stars?"
Arthur sighed in annoyance. "No, Percival. You cannot keep a cosmic object."
Creo smiled faintly. "It is only a projection."
Athena rolled her eyes and leaned against him, whispering: "Show-off."
Creo whispered back and grinned. "You started it."
Merlin conjured goblets (that thankfully didn't explode this time).
The knights loosened up.
Arthur laughed more than his advisors had probably ever seen.
Creo listened to their tales of bravery.
Athena told stories of their travels to other conceptual realms.
The knights asked the funniest questions:
"Do concepts eat?"
"Can you smite my taxes?"
"Is glowing optional?"
Athena playfully tried on one of the knight's helmets, and it slipped over her eyes.
Creo helped her adjust it while the knights swooned.
Even Merlin smiled.
By the end, Arthur raised his cup.
"To unexpected guests...
To cosmic wanderers...
And to the joy they brought into Camelot today."
Creo raised his cup.
"To new friends across worlds."
Athena smiled with joy. "To shared light and shared laughter."
For the first time, Camelot felt connected not just by ideals —
but by joy.
After the comedic courtyard scene, Arthur invites Creo and Athena to join a patrol/quest with the Knights of the Round Table.
Merlin insists on tagging along, muttering about "warding against rogue spells" while clearly wanting to tease everyone along the way.
Athena takes a liking to the knights immediately, jokingly asking Sir Gawain about his armor and telling Merlin he's far too dramatic for a wizard.
Creo enjoys observing the "human element" of Camelot—strategy, honor, humor—and can't help but subtly manipulate conceptual threads to keep everyone safe on the road.
Merlin accidentally causes sparks and minor illusions every time he tries to conjure protection, scaring the horses and making Sir Lancelot shout: "MERLIN!! I said protection, not firework display!!"
Athena laughs, teasing. "I think he's having fun."
Creo quietly adjusts minor threads to prevent a full-scale panic.
The group moves through a misty forest. Creeping shadows signal something is amiss.
Suddenly, Morgan Le Fay appears, her magical presence bending reality.
Mordred steps forward, sword drawn, challenging the group.
Merlin rolls his eyes, muttering about how he knew this was going to happen.
Athena leans into the drama. "Well, hello, villains. I do love an entrance."
Creo, calm and confident:"We're not here to fight... unless you force the hand of chaos."
Mordred's eyes widen in shock."You are not from this world."
Athena smirked. "And yet, here we are. You must be very interesting and well-seasoned fighter.."
Merlin: "Ah yes, the charming heroine, the mysterious cosmic stranger... and I get to explain why my king didn't die yet.
They all entered into an intense, heated battle, magic and powers being casted upon one another, it lasted for hours.
"It was fun, but we'll settle this again next time..." Morgan Le Fay used a spell to get away with her son Mordred.
It was becoming night time.
The group has made camp for the night in a quiet glade outside Camelot.
Arthur, Merlin, and the Knights are sharing stories of past quests; Athena and Creo are seated near the fire, quietly observing and joking with Merlin about his over-the-top spellwork earlier.
Athena teases Creo. "See my beloved moonlight, even legends can be fun to hang around with?"
Creo smirks, tossing a small orb of conceptual light that illuminates the campsite gently.
Merlin, of course, is being dramatic about minor injuries from the day's "skirmishes," insisting he needs 17 different potions to survive.
Sir Gawain and Sir Lancelot compete over who had the "bravest moment," amongst them while Athena laughs and subtly encourages Merlin's theatrics.
Creo casually observes and nudges minor conceptual threads to enhance their camaraderie—small sparks of warmth that make the night feel magical.
As the fire crackles, the air changes, shimmers near the edge of the glade.
Athena frowned slightly. "Creo, is it just me or do you also feel a ripple about to occur?
The ground ripples like water, and a glimmering portal forms in the night air.
From it, a figure fell from the portal.
The figure had a hat, equipped with weapons, with a. Nice suit and shades on- he was none other than Vynn Wiccaspell.
Vynn Wiccaspell steps through, looking disoriented, adjusting his stance and eyes darting around at the unfamiliar surroundings.
Arthur stands, his hand on the hilt of Excalibur, cautious but curious.
Merlin facepalms dramatically: "Oh no...not another one. Seriously, Arthur, why do portals always happen at dinner time?"
Athena gently steps forward, her glow illuminating Vynn. "You're far from home, aren't you?"
Creo tilts his head, studying Vynn with a faint smile: "Interesting...a traveler from another chaos-thread."
Vynn shakes his head, clearly struggling to process everything. "Where- where am I? This isn't...any version of Rome, or any battlefield I know..."
Merlin mutters under his breath. "Intriguing. He's not from around here either. The world can be quite an interesting phenomena..."
The fire flickers, casting shadows across the faces of knights, Athena, and Creo.
Athena whispers to Creo, softly: "Looks like our little adventure just got...even more complicated."
Creo's eyes glint faintly in the firelight: "Indeed. Let's see where this thread leads."
